Definitions
- the present invention relates to a shoe substructure, in particular for safety shoes according to EN 344/345 or DIN 4843, with an energy absorption element arranged in the heel or heel area.
- the standard EN 344, section 4.3.6 requires safety shoes to have an energy absorption capacity in the heel area which must not be less than 20 J.
- the value of the energy consumption is to be determined using a special procedure in accordance with Section 5.10 of the standard mentioned.
- Section 5.1.5.2 of the older, actually no longer relevant, standard DIN 4843 requires an energy absorption capacity of at least 30 J, which, however, is determined using a method that differs from EN 344 (Section 6.17 of DIN), which (supposedly) has higher values anyway results as the corresponding procedure according to EN 344.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a substructure for shoes, in particular safety shoes, with which the energy absorption capacity in the heel area can be significantly increased with good, in particular even improved wearing comfort.
- the energy absorption element is connected to a damping element that at least likewise covers the heel or heel area to form an energy-absorbing and damping comfort element.
- a shoe substructure 1 according to the invention comprises an energy absorption element which is arranged in the heel or heel area and preferably also corresponds approximately to the shape of a later sole heel.
- this energy absorption element 2 is now connected to a damping element 4, which at least likewise covers the heel or heel region, to form an energy-absorbing and damping comfort element 6.
- the energy absorption element 2 is preferably below, i.e. on the side facing away from one foot, and the damping element 4 on top of it on the side facing the foot.
- the surface of the damping element 4 facing the foot is preferably also curved (concave) in accordance with the arch of the foot, which can be achieved in the usual way by a last.
- the energy absorption element 2 consists of a material which is set so hard, in particular a thermoplastic, such as preferably SB (styrene-butadiene copolymer), that it ensures an energy absorption capacity of 30 to in particular about 35 joules - measured according to the method according to EN 344, section 5.10 .
- a thermoplastic such as preferably SB (styrene-butadiene copolymer)
- the damping element 4 consists of a material in the hardness range of preferably about 30-40 Shore. It is highly elastic with a very high rebound effect, which prevents compression and fatigue. A thermoplastic is particularly suitable for this, and in particular also SB, as a result of which a high pressure elasticity can be achieved.
- the energy absorption element 2 and the damping element 4 basically consist of the same material, preferably SB
- the different material properties mentioned are achieved through a specific selection and composition of the material components.
- low levels of butadiene increase the impact and notched impact strength of polystyrene.
- the energy absorption element 2 and the damping element 4 are connected to one another exclusively in a force-fitting and / or form-fitting manner, that is to say without material bonding or gluing.
- This can advantageously be achieved in that one element, in the example shown the damping element 4, has connecting lugs 8 which engage in a correspondingly force-locking manner in corresponding receiving openings 10 of the other element, as shown in the energy absorption element 2.
- a non-positive, but still very good connection can be advantageously achieved in that the connecting lugs 8 and the receiving openings 10 are designed in the manner of so-called "self-locking cone connections".
- the strength or durability of the connection is essentially determined by the cone angle.
- a cone angle of approximately 5 to 10 ° is advantageous here.
- connecting lugs 8 and receiving openings 10 are expedient provided, in the illustrated embodiment there are nine pieces each.
- the manufacture is also particularly simple since the components of the comfort element 6 only need to be pressed together.
- cavities 12 are formed in the area between the energy absorption element 2 and the damping element 4, in particular in the areas of the connecting lugs 8 engaging in the receiving openings 10, which pass through openings 14 of the damping element 4 on the energy absorption element 2 thereof turned away and thus facing an insole, not shown, top 16 open.
- the insole is preferably designed to be air-permeable, at least in its surface area covering the through openings 14, which can be achieved, for example, by perforating or slitting the insole.
- this embodiment of the invention is that when walking - due to the elasticity, in particular of the damping element 4 - a kind of pump effect is achieved, the cavities 12 continuously decreasing in volume and increasing again during walking, as a result of which the air contained therein passes through the through openings 14 is pumped up. This results in improved air circulation in the shoe, which significantly improves the "foot climate".
- the comfort element 6 according to the invention with a joint part 18 is made of a relatively hard plastic connected, this joint part 18 having a heel region 20 and a support region 22 which extends into the midfoot region and is expediently adapted to the arch of the foot or a last.
- the joint part 18 is designed in its heel region 20 in a frame-like manner with a receiving opening 24 for, in particular, force-fitting and / or form-fitting reception of the comfort element 6, in particular the energy absorption element 2.
- the energy absorption element 2 need only be inserted into the receiving opening 24 of the joint part 18 in the direction of the arrow 26.
- the comfort element 6 is connected to a steel midsole 28 which, in the case of a safety shoe according to EN 345, category S3, serves to increase the passage security.
- the shape of the midsole 28 preferably corresponds approximately to that of the later shoe sole.
- the midsole 28 is now held with a heel section 30 in a slot-like or groove-like receptacle 32 of the comfort element 6, in particular the energy absorption element 2, in a non-positive and / or positive manner.
- the heel section 30 need only be pushed into the receptacle 32 in the direction of the arrow 34 according to FIG. 7.
- the damping element 4 expediently has - starting from its heel section 36 connected to the energy absorption element 2 - an extension section 38 which extends in the direction of the midfoot and which preferably has a constant thickness as far as the surface of the support area 22 Joint part 18 (Fig. 1 to 5) or tapered to the surface in the midfoot area of the steel midsole 28 (Fig. 6 to 8).
- the surfaces consequently merge into one another, with a concave curvature adapted to the arch of the foot being provided overall.
- such a "close" connection of all the individual parts, in particular the energy absorption element 2 and the damping element 4 ensures that the comfort element 6, together with the joint part 18 or with the steel midsole 28, is embedded in such a way in a sole material (in particular PUR or VULKA) , in particular can be injected or foamed in that penetration of the sole material into the area of the energy absorption element 2 is avoided.
- a sole material in particular PUR or VULKA
- the damping element 4 consists of a preferably 2.0 to 5.0 mm thick energy absorption mass, which dampens the appearance and ensures walking comfort covering the entire heel surface.
- the substructure 1 according to the invention leads through the functional assignment of the individual parts to particularly good properties, adapts to the last anatomy of the foot, ensures improvements in the foot climate as well as optimal comfort in connection with improved energy absorption compared to the relevant standards.
- the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown and described, but also encompasses all embodiments having the same effect in the sense of the invention. Furthermore, the invention has not yet been limited to the combination of features defined in claim 1, but can also be defined by any other combination of specific features of all the individual features disclosed in total. This means that basically every single feature of claim 1 can be omitted or replaced by at least one single feature disclosed elsewhere in the application. In this respect, claim 1 is only to be understood as a first attempt at formulation for an invention.
Abstract
Description
Absatzbereich angeordneten Energieaufnahmeelement. The present invention relates to a shoe substructure, in particular for safety shoes according to EN 344/345 or DIN 4843, with an energy absorption element arranged in the heel or heel area.
The standard EN 344, section 4.3.6 requires safety shoes to have an energy absorption capacity in the heel area which must not be less than 20 J. The value of the energy consumption is to be determined using a special procedure in accordance with Section 5.10 of the standard mentioned.
Die ältere, eigentlich nicht mehr relevante Norm DIN 4843 fordert im Abschnitt 5.1.5.2 ein Energieaufnahmevermögen von mindestens 30 J, was allerdings nach einem sich von der EN 344 unterscheidenden Verfahren (Abschnitt 6.17 der DIN) ermittelt wird, welches ohnehin (vermeintlich) höhere Werte ergibt als das entsprechende Verfahren nach EN 344.Section 5.1.5.2 of the older, actually no longer relevant, standard DIN 4843 requires an energy absorption capacity of at least 30 J, which, however, is determined using a method that differs from EN 344 (Section 6.17 of DIN), which (supposedly) has higher values anyway results as the corresponding procedure according to EN 344.
It would be to further increase safety, especially in the case of safety shoes, especially against high shock loads, for example in the case of falls from greater heights desirable to increase the energy absorption capacity, but this would lead to very unfavorable wearing properties, especially rapid fatigue of the foot. In this respect, the amount of energy absorption capacity was previously a natural limit.
The present invention has for its object to provide a substructure for shoes, in particular safety shoes, with which the energy absorption capacity in the heel area can be significantly increased with good, in particular even improved wearing comfort.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the energy absorption element is connected to a damping element that at least likewise covers the heel or heel area to form an energy-absorbing and damping comfort element.
With this "comfort element" according to the invention, ie through the novel combination of an energy absorption element with a softer, elastic damping element, it was achieved for the first time that very good comfort properties can be achieved despite a high or increased energy absorption. This is because the "normal" walking, which is actually disadvantageous because of tiring energy consumption, is advantageously "compensated" by the highly elastic damping element according to the invention in such a way that there are hardly any signs of fatigue on the feet over very long times. For this reason, the energy absorption element - by correspondingly hard "adjustment" of the material components - can be designed with a very considerable energy absorption capacity of at least 30 J, in particular even about 35 J, measured by the method according to EN 344, section 5.10. A determination of the energy consumption according to DIN 4843 would of course result in an even higher value.
Further advantageous design features of the invention are contained in the subclaims and the following description.

In the different figures of the drawing, the same parts are always provided with the same reference numerals and are therefore generally only described once.
In both embodiments, a
According to the invention, this
The
Thus, although the
It is particularly advantageous if the
Due to the described advantageous embodiment, the manufacture is also particularly simple since the components of the comfort element 6 only need to be pressed together.
In a particularly advantageous development of the invention,
In the first embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5, the comfort element 6 according to the invention with a
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6 to 18, the comfort element 6 is connected to a
In both embodiments, the damping
According to the invention, such a "close" connection of all the individual parts, in particular the
It should also be mentioned that the damping
The
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown and described, but also encompasses all embodiments having the same effect in the sense of the invention. Furthermore, the invention has not yet been limited to the combination of features defined in
