Abstract

The armrest consists of an arm support (3) on the top of, and the same length as, an elongated base (2). The arm support can swivel in relation to the base on a vertical axle (4) at the back of the base. Auf diese Weise besteht die Möglichkeit, die Armstütze beispielsweise ausgehend von einer Mittellage nach beiden Seiten um einen bestimmten Winkelabstand, der vorzugsweise im Bereich von jeweils 4° bis 8°, insbesondere 6,5°, beträgt nach innen oder nach außen zu verschwenken.
