Der Zeitraum kann variabel sein, und ist so lang zu wählen, wie es der Ablauf der Tür erfordert, und er hängt darüber hinaus von der Größe des Speichers und des Anwendungsfalles ab, da nach dem Prinzip First-In/ First-Out eine permanente Aufzeichnung stattfindet. Für die Praxis be¬ deutet dies insbesondere, daß alle systemrelevanten Parameter wie z.B. die Spannungsversorgung, die Weggeberinformationen bzw. Drehbewe¬ gungsinformationen, alle Sensorinformationen und Melderinformationen sowie die Daten der Steuerung bzw. Regelung und die Motordaten, wie beispielsweise Stromaufnahme oder Drehzahl und Drehrichtung, digitali¬ siert und in einem nichtfiüchtigen, wiederbeschreibbaren Speicher des Systems abgelegt werden. Aufgrund des Prinzips First-In/First-Out ist es möglich, daß die aktuellste Information stets abrufbar ist.
