Abstract

The connection appts. connects a suction joint (1) of a vacuum pumping installation to the neck (10) of the tube in a jig with lateral guidance rollers (4) running on rails (6) whose profile causes levers (5) to be pivoted slightly outwards against compression springs (9). This movement varies the spacing between centring rollers (8) which guide the evacuation stem (11) of the tube safely into the sealing ring (13) of the suction joint. At the same time spring contacts (15) in a holder (16) are brought up to connections (12) with the tube cathode until contact is made with the roller (18) of a release unit (17).

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Verbinden von Vakuumpumpständen mit Elektronenröhren nach dem Oberbegriff des 1. Patentanspruches.The invention relates to a device for connecting vacuum pumping stations with electron tubes according to the preamble of the first claim.

Die Evakuierung von Elektronenröhren erfolgt über Pumpstände, welche Bestandteil eines nahezu vollautomatisierten Behandlungssystems sind. Die einzige Tätigkeit, die nach dem heutigen Stand der Technik noch manuell ausgeführt werden muß, ist das Herstellen der Verbindung zwischen Pumpstand und Elektronenröhre. Dazu sind zwei Arbeitsgänge notwendig. In einem muß der Ansaugstutzen der Vakuumpumpe mit dem Pumpstengel der Elektronenröhre verbunden werden und in einem anderen Arbeitsgang wird der elektrische Kontakt zur Beheizung der Kathode der Elektronenröhre hergestellt. Mit den bisher existierenden Einrichtungen ist es selbst bei Einsatz der neuesten Robotertechnologie nicht möglich, die Ausrichtung von Ansaugstutzen und Pumpstengel sowie der elektrischen Anschlüsse mit der erforderlichen Genauigkeit zu erreichen. Die vorgenannten Tätigkeiten können bisher nur manuell mit der notwendigen Präzision ausgeführt werden.The electron tubes are evacuated via pumping stations, which are part of an almost fully automated treatment system. Da das Profil der Führungsschienen sich in Richtung der Bewegung verändert, werden durch diese Bewegung die mit den Führungsschienen verbundenen drehbaren Hebel 5 in der Abbildungsebene gegen den äußeren Rahmen 2 über die Druckfedern 9 leicht gekippt. Damit wird der Abstand der mit den Heben über Halterungen 7 verbundenen Zentrierrollen 8 verändert. Die beiden Zentrierrollen 8 umfassen den Röhrenhals 10, wodurch der mit diesem verbundene Pumpstengel 11 beim Hochfahren des Pumpstandes sicher in den Dichtring 13 des Ansaugstutzens geführt wird.A vacuum pumping station, of which only the high-vacuum side suction flange 1 is shown, serves to evacuate an electron tube, of which only the tube neck 10 is shown. Durch Anheben des Pumpstandes (Abbildung 2a) werden durch die Führungsrollen 4 die Hebel 5 derart geschwenkt, daß sich der Abstand der Führungsrollen 8 soweit verringert, bis sie den Röhrenhals 10 fest umfassen und zentrieren (Abbildung 2b)). Jetzt können der Pumpstengel 11 und der Dichtring 13 exakt zusammengeführt werden. Beim weiteren Anheben des Pumpstandes (Abbildung 3a)) werden die Hebel 5 durch die Führungsrollen 4 wieder etwas auseinandergedrückt. Dadurch vergrößert sich der Abstand der Zentrierrollen 8 wieder (Abbildung 3b)), so daß ein Verspannen des Pumpstengels 11 vermieden wird.In Figure 1a) the pumping station is in the lower position.
