Diese Aufgabe löst die Erfindung gemäß Anspruch 1 bei einer gattungsgemäßen Feuerschutz-Absperrvorrichtung unter anderem dadurch, daß das Einbaugehäuse an seiner der Lufteintrittsöffnung gegenüberliegenden Gehäuseseite einen Führungsstutzen für eine Führungsstange am Absperrorgan und eine die Führungsstange umgebende Schließfeder aufweist, daß das Absperrorgan als Schließteller und die Schließfeder als Memory-Feder ausgebildet sind. Unter Memory-Feder ist eine Schließfeder mit einem Formgedächtnis zu verstehen, die bei Raumtemperatur zusammengezogen ist und bei höheren Temperaturen aktiviert wird, sich folglich ausdehnt. - Überraschenderweise ist eine solche Memory-Feder für den Einsatz bei Feuerschutz-Absperrvorrichtungen geeignet, und sorgt bei der erfindungsgemäßen Ausführungform dafür, daß der Schließteller bei Raumtemperatur und folglich zusammengezogener Memory-Feder in Offenstellung gehalten wird, im Brandfall dagegen in Schließstellung gedrückt wird, weil sich die Memory-Feder infolge der sich entwickelnden Temperaturen verhältnismäßig schnell ausdehnt und hinreichende Schließkräfte erzeugt. Der mittels der Memory-Feder in Offenstellung gehaltene und nur im Brandfall in Schließstellung niedergedrückte Schließteller ermöglicht einen praktisch ungestörten Luftdurchtritt durch die erfindungsgemäße Feuerschutz-Absperrvorrichtung, so daß nur minimale Druckverluste auftreten. Hinzu kommt, daß der Schließmechanismus verhältnismäßig einfach und funktionssicher aufgebaut ist und insbesondere weitgehend wartungsfrei ist, weil auf den Einsatz drehbeweglicher Schließelemente wie Flügelklappen oder dergleichen drehbewegliche Teile, die im Luftstrom liegen und verschmutzen können, verzichtet wird. Überraschen muß in diesem Zusammenhang ferner, daß einerseits die Führungsstange an dem Schließteller und andererseits die die Führungsstange umgebende Schließ- bzw. MemoryFeder geeignet sind, eine hinreichend exakte translatorische Bewegung des Schließtellers im Brandfalle bei sich ausdehnender Memory-Feder derart zu gewährleisten, daß der Schließteller auch tatsächlich die Lufteintrittsöffnung auf der gegenüberliegenden Gehäuseseite mit Dichtwirkung abschließt. Im Rahmen der Erfindung kann der Schließteller in Offenstellung mittels eines wärmeempfindlichen Klebers an der zugeordneten Gehäuseseite bzw. Gehäusewand angeklebt sein, wenn beispielsweise selbst bei starker Luftströmung ein absolut bewegungsfreier Sitz des Schließtellers in Offenstellung gewährleistet sein soll und/oder die Schließ- bzw. Memory-Feder nicht an dem Schließteller bzw. seiner Führungsstange befestigt ist. Claims (7)
- A fireproof shut-off device for ventilation ducts, consisting of a built-in housing (1) having an air inlet opening (2) and an air outlet opening (3), wherein the air inlet opening (2) can be shut off by means of a shut-off element constructed as a closing plate (7) and the shut-off element is held in the open position under the action of a spring and snaps into the closed position at a predetermined temperature, and wherein the built-in housing (1) comprises a guide sleeve (4) for a guide rod (5) on the shut-off element, and comprises a closing spring (6) which surrounds the guide rod (5), characterised in that the closing spring (6) is constructed as a memory spring, and that the built-in housing (1) is constructed as a shallow housing comprising a baseplate (9) with the air inlet opening (2) and comprising a covering cap (11) with the outlet opening (3), which covering cap is fixed to the baseplate (9) forming built-in flanges (10) at the edges, wherein the guide sleeve (4) is disposed outside on the covering cap (11), on the opposite side of the housing to the air inlet opening (2).
- A fireproof shut-off device according to claim 1, characterised in that the closing plate (7) is adhesively bonded in its open position to the associated side of the housing by means of a heat-sensitive adhesive (8).
- A fireproof shut-off device according to claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the covering cap has an open end face forming the air outlet opening (3).
- A fireproof shut-off device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the air inlet opening (2) has a drawn-in inner edge (12) which is surrounded by a fire-resistant board or boards (13) made of calcium silicate, for example, with the formation of an annular gap, and that the closing plate (7) has an outer edge (14) which, in the closed position of the closing plate (7), fits into the annular gap (15) on the air inlet opening (2) and fits round the inner edge (12) of the air inlet opening (2).
- A fireproof shut-off device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the closing spring (6) surrounds the guide rod (5) with a predetermined motional clearance and is inserted in the guide sleeve (4) with a predetermined motional clearance.
- A fireproof shut-off device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the closing spring (6) is fixed at one end to the guide sleeve (4) and is fixed at its other end to the base of the guide rod (5) and/or to the closing plate (7).
- A fireproof shut-off device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the built-in housing (1) or the covering cap (11) thereof is surrounded by fire-resistant boards (16) at the height of the cap, and the air outlet opening (3), which is delimited by a board (16), leads into a ventilation duct (17) which is parallel to the board or to the cap.
