Im Prinzip läßt sich das Hauptproblem derartiger Dichtungseinrichtungen darauf reduzieren, eine in einem Rohr beweglich und ggf. sogar verdrehbar geführte Stange gegen das Rohr so abzudichten, daß entlang der Stange kein Wasser in das Rohr fließen und die übrige Bremsgestängesteller-Anordnung nachteilig beeinflußen kann.Such sealing devices have long been known in various embodiments in rail vehicle technology. Da der Dichtungsring nur bei Nachstellbewegungen auf der Spindel verschoben wird, tritt am Dichtungsring praktisch kein Verschleiß mehr auf.
