Abstract

The door (1) hinged about a vertical axis incorporates guide rails (3) along its plastic inside wall (2) for receptacles (5,6) to be inserted at different levels and retained by flanges (9) at the edges of the rails which engage angle mouldings (8) extending horizontally along the backs of the receptacles. The lower receptacle (5) has a straight back (7) and its breadth equals the length of the rail so that a row of bottles can be accommodated. The narrower upper receptacle (6) has a stepped back (13) enabling it to project into the lower one and prevent bottles from sliding or tilting.

Description

The invention relates to a refrigerator door according to the preamble of the first claim.

It is very well known in household refrigerators to provide a bottle rack which extends essentially across the horizontal width in the lower region of the refrigerator door and in which, in particular, tall containers such as bottles and other glasses are to be set. A free space is left in the area above the bottle rack, above which a small goods receptacle for eggs, glasses or corresponding small parts, which generally also extends over the entire width of the inner wall, is provided. In order to prevent containers set in the bottle rack from tilting or sliding, a support element is slidably held on the front wall of the bottle rack, which can be pushed from one side so close to the adjacent container that it is arranged on one of the opposite sides Container or a solid wall cannot tilt or slip in the longitudinal direction of the bottle rack. The disadvantage here is that the support element only extends into the area of the upper edge of the bottle holder front wall. As a result, tipping forces put a considerable strain on the support element and thus the front wall.

The invention has for its object to take measures in a refrigerator door according to the preamble of the first claim, by means of which an improved support of containers in the bottle rack is achieved.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of the first claim.

In one embodiment of a refrigerator door according to the invention, the holder of the support element is separated from the bow-shaped bottle rack and is integrated directly into the surface of the inner wall of the refrigerator door. The holder provided there is designed in particular as a guide rail formed from the inner wall, which extends at least approximately over the horizontal width of the bottle holder. This holder preferably has two or more guide rails, at least one of which is arranged above the bottle rack. In particular, the arrangement of at least one of the guide rails is such that the support element engages in the region of the tapered neck of a bottle. The height adjustability of the support element in the guide rails arranged at different heights allows adaptation to the height of the container to be supported. A plurality of support elements can also be arranged in one or different guide rails if containers of different heights are to be supported or if the entire space is not required for the storage of tall containers. The respective support element is secured in the guide rail in particular by frictional force against free displacement, so that it can only be moved in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail with increased effort. The support element can be designed as a narrow receiving shell, when it reaches between adjacent necks of bottles without taking up additional space.

The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of sketches of an exemplary embodiment.

Show it:
Fig. 1

Fig. 2
a side section through the arrangement of FIG. 1 in the region of two refrigerated goods racks arranged one above the other.

A refrigerator door 1, which can be rotated about a vertical axis, has on its plastic inner wall 2 guide rails 3, which are formed by T-shaped or L-shaped webs 4 and are integrally formed from the inner wall 2 towards the space to be cooled, so that Refrigerated goods racks 5,6 can be pushed in or pushed in freely from one side at different heights. For this purpose, the refrigerated goods containers 5, 6 have, on their respective rear wall 7 in the operating position, horizontally extending angle strips 8 which, when inserted into the guide rails 3 formed between the webs 4, engage behind the relevant undercut edges 9 of the webs 4, as is particularly the case in FIG. 2 shows. It is of course also possible to arrange the angle strips 8 so that their free legs are facing each other. Then the refrigerated goods shelves 6 can each be pushed onto one of the webs 4 with appropriate distance dimensioning.

The guide rails 3 or webs 4 preferably extend in the horizontal direction over the width of a refrigerated goods rack 5 which is adapted to the door width and which is designed as a bottle rack and for setting tall bottles 10. The bottle rack 5 can be pushed onto a guide rail 3 or onto a web 4. A further guide rail 3 runs above the bottle rack 5, into which an additional refrigerated goods rack 6 is inserted, which is at an altitude in which it is pushed laterally onto the bottle 10. The bottle rests on the opposite side against the side wall 11 of the bottle rack 5 and is thereby secured against tipping in the longitudinal direction of the bottle rack. If several bottles are placed in the bottle rack 5, then the bottles 10 which abut against one another can be secured together against tipping by appropriately changing the position of the support element 6, which is preferably designed as a narrow receiving shell. However, it is also possible to arrange a bottle 10 on each side of the support element 6 and to assign a further support element to the additional bottle, which is to be inserted into the same guide rail 3 as the first support element 6 or can also be inserted into a guide rail 3 located above it , provided that the support element still reaches the side of the additional bottle. Such support elements 6 can also be assigned to other refrigerated goods shelves 5 in an analogous manner, as is shown in the area of an additional, upper arrangement 5, 6 in connection with a further, lower bottle 12.

According to FIG. 2, the refrigerated goods shelves designed as support elements 6 can protrude with their bottom region downward into the space enclosed by the refrigerated goods rack 5 underneath. The rear wall 7 of the upper refrigerated goods shelf 6 is in a step 13 in the overlap region with the rear wall 7 of the refrigerated goods rack 5 located below Deposed interior. The step is dimensioned such that the rear wall 7 of the lower coolant tray 5 can reach behind the step 13 thus formed. As a result, objects or containers that are correspondingly small in height and placed in the lower refrigerated goods rack 5 can be reliably secured against lateral tilting and there is no mutual hindrance of the two parts 5, 6. By moving the support element 6 into a guide rail 3 arranged higher, the anti-tip can then also be ensured for very high containers set in the bottle rack 5.
