Definitions
- the invention relates to a roller shutter for closing the openings in cabinet furniture with individual profiles guided on both sides in a slide rail, which are pivotally connected to one another via tongue and groove connections or film hinges.
- Such cabinet shutters are known in many copies. From EP 0 446 049 A2, for example, a roller shutter is known which is wound onto a roller for opening and unwound from this roller for closing.
- a cabinet roller shutter with a roller shutter drive which consists of a drive roller equipped with drive wheels.
- the drive wheels are gear-like and the teeth of these gears engage in the rear grooves of the roller shutter profiles.
- the roller shutter profiles themselves are guided in the side mounting guides of the cabinet, which are molded onto the front, upper and rear side areas of the cabinet opening.
- EP 0 411 344 A1 discloses a horizontal opening method for a cabinet roller shutter.
- the roller shutter is guided and moved in the lower and upper guide grooves. These guide grooves extend over the entire lower and upper front opening area of the cabinet and extend into the side and rear wall areas of the cabinet.
- the advantage of the horizontal displacement option is largely compensated for by the disadvantageous upper and lower groove guidance of the roller shutter profiles, which has to extend practically over the entire front opening area, one side wall and the entire rear wall.
- screw guides for the roller shutter profiles have become known in the prior art, with which the expansion of the guide grooves into the rear wall area of the cabinet furniture can be avoided.
- These screw guides are arranged in the lateral upper and lower wall areas of the piece of furniture and deflect the roller shutters into different guide levels when the opening is displaced. In this way, a relatively close merging of the roller shutter elements or the roller shutter profile bars is achieved on the side wall areas of the piece of furniture.
- the screw guides are each arranged on the floor and the cover plate of the piece of furniture and, because of the deflection options, allow the roller shutter element to be accommodated in a relatively limited space, the number of deflections within a screw element representing the capacity limit for the length absorption of the roller shutter.
- roller shutter openings can be installed in one direction, the screw receptacles in this case having to be designed so wide that the roller shutter is received on one side by the upper and lower screw elements from the closure of the front.
- embodiments of horizontally closing roller shutter furniture are also known, in which the roller shutter is divided and in each case its half is accommodated in screw elements arranged on the right and the left side.
- these screw elements can be made narrower, since they only have to accommodate half of the roller shutter element required for closing the furniture part by means of appropriately designed screw deflections.
- roller shutter receptacles characterized by upper and lower deflection screws characterized by upper and lower deflection screws.
- a relatively large amount of space is required in the side areas of the cupboard furniture in order to store the displaced roller shutter elements in the areas of the deflection screws. This space is lost as storage space with the cabinet furniture to be closed with these shutters.
- a guide element is formed alternately on every second profile in the area of the connections with an adjacent profile via a connecting web projecting at a right angle from the profile body, which extends beyond the length of the profile on both sides in a defined dimension such that the adjacent profile on both free ends is provided with a slider, which is slightly higher in dimension than the guide element, and that the guide elements and the slider on both sides of the roller shutter are displaceable in rails separated from each other by intermediate webs, with the guide rail for the guide element in the area of Corner deflections each have an integrally formed ramp, over which the guide elements run and each pivot two adjacent profiles from the sliding plane into an opposite unfolding.
- the storage method according to the invention for the roller shutter armor has the advantage that the armor is flat when closed and completely closes the storage space of the cabinet.
- the tank can advantageously only be stored on one side of the cabinet, but can also be inserted into both sides of the cabinet if necessary.
- the individual roller shutter profiles are designed so that the armor folds like a fold when the opening displacement of the armor begins.
- the opening length of the tank of 1,200 mm in total can be stored in a cabinet depth of 450 mm, with a maximum of 75 mm of storage space on one side of the cabinet being lost in the 1200 mm wide cabinet.
- at least 130 mm of storage space is required to stow the shutter elements when opening.
- roller shutter stowage method is seen in the fact that far less movement force is required to move the roller shutter than in the conventional method, because the roller shutter curtain does not have to be deflected according to the invention.
- far less movement force is required to move the roller shutter than in the conventional method, because the roller shutter curtain does not have to be deflected according to the invention.
- much less force is consumed than in the system according to the prior art, where the armored profiles have to be displaced in their guides and also have to be deflected in the screw areas.
- the guide element is a guide pin, over which every second profile is guided in its associated running rail.
- the running rails for the sliders and the guide elements are arranged one behind the other, the running rail for the guide elements being located behind the running rail for the sliders.
- the running rail for the guide elements ends in the region of the deflection of the ramp in the parallel direction to the running rail for the sliders.
- the guide elements themselves can be guided by the inner wall of the assigned running rail or by the exposed outer wall of the assigned running rail.
- roller shutter 1 shows the roller shutter 1 with the roller shutter profiles 11, 12, 13.
- the roller shutter profiles 11, 12, 13 are shown in a front view in the upper part of the illustration, the roller shutter profile 13 being arranged on a slider 2 in the associated running rail 31.
- the running rail 31 and the slider 2 are shown in section.
- the profiles 11, 12 are connected to one another by a flexible intermediate piece 111, wherein this flexible intermediate piece 111 can be integrally formed on the profiles 11, 12.
- the profile 11 has at its free end a rounding 112 and a connecting hook 113, via which a connection to the subsequent profile can be made.
- the guide element 4 is molded onto the profile 12 via the connecting web 41, which is guided in the running rail 32.
- the individual running tracks 31, 32 form the running track element 3.
- the profile 12 has at its free end facing away from the profile 11 a rounding 121 and a connecting hook 122, via which a connection to the correspondingly designed opposite end of the profile 13 takes place.
- the profile 13 has a corresponding receiving configuration 131, via which the connection to the subsequent profile 11 with the appropriately designed rounding 112 and the connecting hook 113 takes place.
- FIG. 2 the guidance of the roller shutter structure according to FIG. 1 is visible in a top view, a flexible articulation of the individual profiles to one another being shown instead of the connecting profile 13.

- the guide rails 31, 32 are deflected by 90 ° in their corner region 30.
- the run-up ramp 321 is formed, on which the guide element 4 is guided either by the inner wall 3211 or by the outer wall 3212.
- the guidance of the profiles 11 ', 12' when hitting the run-up ramp 321 is shown schematically in the lower area of FIG. 2.
- the profile 11 ' is still shown in the folding movement, while the profile 12' articulated via the flexible connecting web 2 is already shown in the fully unfolded situation.
- the unfolded profile 12 ' is connected to the unfolded profile 11', which is connected via the flexible connecting web 2, and the next profile 12 ', etc., is connected to this in turn via the connecting web 2.
- the rails 31, 32 are separated from one another by the intermediate web 33.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a roller shutter for closing the openings in cabinet furniture with individual profiles guided on both sides in a slide rail, which are pivotally connected to one another via tongue and groove connections or film hinges.
Such cabinet shutters are known in many copies. From EP 0 446 049 A2, for example, a roller shutter is known which is wound onto a roller for opening and unwound from this roller for closing.
From DE-U 91 03 919 a cabinet roller shutter with a roller shutter drive is known, which consists of a drive roller equipped with drive wheels. The drive wheels are gear-like and the teeth of these gears engage in the rear grooves of the roller shutter profiles. The roller shutter profiles themselves are guided in the side mounting guides of the cabinet, which are molded onto the front, upper and rear side areas of the cabinet opening.
These vertical opening methods are complex and expensive in terms of the design and structure of the cabinets.
The roller shutter is guided and moved in the lower and upper guide grooves. These guide grooves extend over the entire lower and upper front opening area of the cabinet and extend into the side and rear wall areas of the cabinet. The advantage of the horizontal displacement option is largely compensated for by the disadvantageous upper and lower groove guidance of the roller shutter profiles, which has to extend practically over the entire front opening area, one side wall and the entire rear wall.
In order to avoid this disadvantage, screw guides for the roller shutter profiles have become known in the prior art, with which the expansion of the guide grooves into the rear wall area of the cabinet furniture can be avoided. These screw guides are arranged in the lateral upper and lower wall areas of the piece of furniture and deflect the roller shutters into different guide levels when the opening is displaced. In this way, a relatively close merging of the roller shutter elements or the roller shutter profile bars is achieved on the side wall areas of the piece of furniture. The screw guides are each arranged on the floor and the cover plate of the piece of furniture and, because of the deflection options, allow the roller shutter element to be accommodated in a relatively limited space, the number of deflections within a screw element representing the capacity limit for the length absorption of the roller shutter. In this way, roller shutter openings can be installed in one direction, the screw receptacles in this case having to be designed so wide that the roller shutter is received on one side by the upper and lower screw elements from the closure of the front. However, embodiments of horizontally closing roller shutter furniture are also known, in which the roller shutter is divided and in each case its half is accommodated in screw elements arranged on the right and the left side. In this case, these screw elements can be made narrower, since they only have to accommodate half of the roller shutter element required for closing the furniture part by means of appropriately designed screw deflections.
The disadvantage of these roller shutter receptacles characterized by upper and lower deflection screws is that despite the deflections in the screw components, a relatively large amount of space is required in the side areas of the cupboard furniture in order to store the displaced roller shutter elements in the areas of the deflection screws. This space is lost as storage space with the cabinet furniture to be closed with these shutters.
This is where the invention comes in, which has set itself the task of replacing the space-consuming deflection screws by a simple, space-saving method of filling up a narrow storage space with the roller shutter profiles. According to the invention it is proposed that a guide element is formed alternately on every second profile in the area of the connections with an adjacent profile via a connecting web projecting at a right angle from the profile body, which extends beyond the length of the profile on both sides in a defined dimension such that the adjacent profile on both free ends is provided with a slider, which is slightly higher in dimension than the guide element, and that the guide elements and the slider on both sides of the roller shutter are displaceable in rails separated from each other by intermediate webs, with the guide rail for the guide element in the area of Corner deflections each have an integrally formed ramp, over which the guide elements run and each pivot two adjacent profiles from the sliding plane into an opposite unfolding.
The storage method according to the invention for the roller shutter armor has the advantage that the armor is flat when closed and completely closes the storage space of the cabinet. The tank can advantageously only be stored on one side of the cabinet, but can also be inserted into both sides of the cabinet if necessary. The individual roller shutter profiles are designed so that the armor folds like a fold when the opening displacement of the armor begins. In the case of a one-sided tank jam, for example, the opening length of the tank of 1,200 mm in total can be stored in a cabinet depth of 450 mm, with a maximum of 75 mm of storage space on one side of the cabinet being lost in the 1200 mm wide cabinet. In contrast, in the conventional deflection of cabinet shutters by screw guides, at least 130 mm of storage space is required to stow the shutter elements when opening.
The main advantage of the roller shutter stowage method according to the invention is seen in the fact that far less movement force is required to move the roller shutter than in the conventional method, because the roller shutter curtain does not have to be deflected according to the invention. For the simple folding of the roller shutter profiles according to the invention, much less force is consumed than in the system according to the prior art, where the armored profiles have to be displaced in their guides and also have to be deflected in the screw areas.
It has proven to be advantageous that the guide element is a guide pin, over which every second profile is guided in its associated running rail.
For the free folding movement of the individual profiles, it is important that the free ends of the profiles provided with the guide elements and the sliders are held above the level of the intermediate web and the outer edge of the running rail for the guide element. This is necessary for the unimpeded unfolding of the individual profiles.
Furthermore, it is necessary for the running rails for the sliders and the guide elements to be arranged one behind the other, the running rail for the guide elements being located behind the running rail for the sliders. For the simple folding of the profiles, it is also expedient that the running rail for the guide elements ends in the region of the deflection of the ramp in the parallel direction to the running rail for the sliders. The guide elements themselves can be guided by the inner wall of the assigned running rail or by the exposed outer wall of the assigned running rail.

The profile 11 'is connected to the
The guidance of the profiles 11 ', 12' when hitting the run-
Another connection of the
The guides shown for the
