Description

The subject invention relates to a device for dividing a moving paper web, which on a Drum is wound up, thereby winding up to enable an empty drum consisting of one made of paper manufactured tear tape.

When winding up in a plant for the production of Paper-made paper web on spools is required then once a coil has a given winding diameter has reached at a rate of about 25 m / second moving paper web to divide the The following paper web is wound on an empty spool to be able to continue. A tear tape is used for this, which spirally coils on the empty spool, whereby at the same time the paper web is divided along a spiral line becomes. To the tear tape at the same time as through the cutting process damaged parts of the paper web for recycling It is known to be able to feed this from paper to manufacture.

Such a tear tape, which has great tensile strength and has to have a high rigidity, has so far been a Many side by side and glued together Laces made of paper, as described by WO 86 00282 A is disclosed, which corresponds to the preamble of claim 1. To achieve the gluing process the paper cords over their entire surface wetted with a water-soluble adhesive. Since they are in the Episode lying next to each other are pressed together, glue them together at the contact surfaces. After this The drying process of the adhesive is the one produced in this way Tear tape wound up into a roll.

A known tear tape of this type has several disadvantages:
Since the cords are wetted over their entire circumference with adhesive during manufacture, the tear tape wound into a spool can stick together under the influence of moisture. Furthermore, under the influence of moisture, the paper cords glued together can come apart from one another, which reduces the strength of the tear tape and can also cause malfunctions when it is used. Another disadvantage of this known tear tape is that the individual paper cords from which it is made must have a minimum diameter, which means that this tear tape has a minimum thickness, which therefore has disadvantageous effects when using such a tape for dividing paper webs with a relatively low paper weight can cause, since the paper web is damaged. Furthermore, there is a need to manufacture such a tear tape with exact tolerances in order to be able to rule out disruptions in its movement through a conveying channel. However, this requirement can only be met with difficulty with a tear tape made from several cords, since the cords cannot be manufactured with exact sizes.

In addition, when the tear tape is opened, the individual Cords at different points along the length of the Tear tape separated, which consequently also Malfunctions can be caused. Furthermore are out twisted cords manufactured tear tapes in the recycling process only difficult to resolve.

Finally, flat layers of adhesive adhere to it such a tear tape and what to do serve to attach the tear tape to the empty spool to to be able to initiate the separation process of the paper web, on a tear tape formed by paper cords only along the outer surface lines of the paper cords, making them Adhesive layers can be removed.

The object of the invention is therefore based on the object to create a tear tape made of paper which the well-known, made of individual cords, Tear-off disadvantages can be avoided. This is according to the invention achieved in that the tear tape through formed a strip of paper folded several times   is, with the layers of the paper strip lying against one another are at least partially glued to one another.

The two side areas of the paper strip can be used be bent several times. Preferably the two are lateral areas of the paper strip on one side bent over. Alternatively, the two side areas of the paper strip bent over on different sides. The two side edges of the paper strip can located approximately in the middle of the tear tape.

According to another preferred embodiment, the two are lateral areas of the paper strip on one side bent, where they overlap and preferably the two side edges of the paper strip in the area of the two Side edges of the tear tape. Furthermore, between the at least two layers of the paper strip one by at least another paper tape-formed insert can be arranged, which is also glued to the paper strip. In particular, the insert can be a multi-layer, if necessary also folded paper strips are formed. In addition, the insert can be used on both sides Adhesive paper strips or by a strip of an adhesive.

According to a further preferred feature, the at least one Paper strips made of paper material with a long fiber orientation manufactured. To make this tear tape flexible in the transverse direction design, it can also with longitudinal grooves od. Like. Provided or corrugated in its transverse direction be.

With such a tear tape all the known Avoid disadvantages inherent in tear tape:

By selecting the paper thickness and the number of paper layers it can be made with any tensile strength and rigidity be, whereby an exact adjustment to the thickness or   Quality of the paper of the paper web that divides should be achievable. Because on the outside of the Tear tape is no glue, no gluing of the wound-up tear tape. Because rather the adhesive is only inside the tear tape, too prevents the bond from being loosened by moisture, which reduces the tensile strength of the tear tape.

Furthermore, one is multi-layered, with each other by means of a water-soluble Adhesive glued paper tapes Tear tape is easier to dissolve in the recycling process and therefore it is more recyclable. In addition, such a tear tape severed along an approximately straight edge, whereby no paper residues are caused, which in Delivery channel can cause malfunctions. There further one such tear tape running straight but not has sharp longitudinal edges, this is an optimal Course guaranteed when dividing the paper web. There such a tear tape also has an approximately flat surface has, so stick on this flat layers of adhesive good thing that they cannot be replaced. Finally, one Such tear tape can be made in unlimited lengths.

The object of the invention is explained below with reference to several exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing:
1 to 9 show different embodiments of a tear tape according to the invention, each in an axonometric representation.

A tear tape according to the invention is formed from a paper strip, which is folded several times, the one against the other lying layers of the paper strip by means of a water-soluble adhesive are glued together. Here the adhesive is inside the tear tape and are the outside of which is kept free of adhesive.

According to the embodiment of FIG. 1, the tear tape is off a paper strip 1 is formed, the lateral regions 11 and 12 over the central area 10 on one side so are bent so that their longitudinal edges lie close together. The layers lying one against the other are by means of a layer 13 of an adhesive glued together. This tear tape, which is two-ply, thus has two folds formed Longitudinal edges 14 and 15 through which the separation process of Paper web is initiated.

In Fig. 2 a tear tape according to the invention is shown, which is formed from a paper strip 2, the lateral Areas 21 and 22 above the central area 20 one above the other folded and with each other by means of adhesive layers 23 are connected, whereby a three-layer tear tape is formed, whose two side edges 24 and 25 form the separating edges. Characterized in that this tear tape is formed in three layers it is increased compared to the tear tape according to FIG. 1 Tensile strength.

The tear tape shown in Fig. 3 differs from the tear tape 2 in that the two lateral areas 31 and 32 of the paper tape 3 on different pages of the central region 30 are folded out. Here too are the individual layers of the paper tape 3 by means of adhesive layers 33 glued together. The two side edges 34 and 35 form the dividing edges.

4 are the two lateral areas 41 and 42 of the paper tape 4 over the central area 40 bent several times, the individual layers of the tear tape, which has four layers, by means of adhesive layers 43 are interconnected. This will make it even higher Stiffness and tear resistance achieved. The tear edges are formed by the side edges 44 and 45.

In Fig. 5 a tear tape is shown, which accordingly 1 from a paper tape 1   is made, the lateral regions 11 and 12 to each other are folded. It is between the reinforcement of the tear tape the layers of paper tape 1 thus formed reinforcing paper tape 5 is provided, the width of the width the tear tape is approximately the same and which one with the layers 10, 11 and 12 of the paper tape 1 by means of two layers of adhesive 13 is connected. The insert 5 can also by a Paper carrier tape, which is coated on both sides with a water-soluble Adhesive is coated, or by a strapless Adhesive tape be formed.

In Fig. 6 another tear tape is shown, which is differs from the embodiment of FIG. 5 in that paper tape 1 three paper tapes 51 lying one above the other, 52, 53, which form a reinforcing insert, and which with the layers of the paper tape 1 by means of several Adhesive layers 13 are connected.

In Fig. 7 a tear tape is shown, which differs from Embodiment of FIG. 1 differs in that two Paper strips 1 and 1a are glued together, the lateral areas 11a and 12a of the outer paper tape 1a bent over the folded paper tape 1 and by means of the inside lying adhesive layers 13 are glued to the other layers.

In Fig. 8 a tear tape is shown, the areas 10, 11, 12 as shown in FIG. 1 by a second paper tape 1b are that the lateral areas 11, 12 and 11b, 12b of the two paper strips 1 and 1b on different sides of the Tear tape.

To the required flexibility of such a tear tape To achieve, this can be done with profiles in the transverse direction Form a corrugation. 9 is a Tear tape 8 shown in FIG. 8, which is in the transverse direction is corrugated and on which a flat adhesive layer 9, which is required for the separation process is applied. There this adhesive layer 9 adapts to the waviness   notwithstanding that, the prior art Disadvantages avoided.

Such a tear tape made of paper can in any lengths can be manufactured.
