Abstract

The shower head has a main support plate (1a) with a pattern of holes (4,5) into which are fitted a similar pattern of hollow stubs (6,8) to shape the spray. The stubs are part of a soft elastic material cover which is fitted over the shower head in one fitting. The cover has sealing flanges (25,29) to seal onto the shower head. The sealing flanges (29,25) are linked to the cover by thin elastic sections (31,33) and are moulded in one piece with the cover. The elastic sections hold the seals in the correct position for fitting the cover and are made of the same material as the cover.
