Abstract

The shower head has a plate (1a) with a hole pattern (3) into which is located a pattern of elastic sleeves (10,11) to define the spray jets. Some of the sleeves are located in large diameter holes leaving a ring space (13) between the sleeves and the support plate. The ring space is closed to the outside by an elastic cover (1b) to which the sleeves are moulded. The sleeves with the spacing provide high pressure jets and are cleared of lime scale simply by manual pressure on the outside cover e.g. by wiping with a sponge. The inner ring spaces are open to the water supply inside the shower head.
