Definitions
- the invention relates to a ventilation hood for insertion into a preferably lateral opening of a roof tile lower part, in particular with a dome-like bulge, with a pipe connection protruding into the roof interior, in particular for connection to a ventilation pipe, a pipe window adjoining the pipe connection, and a pipe attachment arranged above the pipe attachment , the ventilation window with a covering covering at a distance and a preferably arched down collar for at least partially laying on the bulge of the Dachsteinunterteil.
- a ventilation hood of the type mentioned above has long been known in practice and is used for natural ventilation, for example of kitchens or toilets. Roof vents, as ventilation hoods are also called, with a pipe connection below the roof are usually passed through the roof approximately perpendicular to the house level and end in a different type of pipe attachment above the roof. The pipe attachment itself is also aligned perpendicular to the house level.
- the problem with the known ventilation hood with pipe connection is that the roof leadthrough must be adapted to the respective roof pitch, which is usually between 26 ° and 52 °, which is expensive.
- Another disadvantage of the known ventilation hood is that the pipe attachment is arranged some distance above the roof surface. First of all, this is not visually appealing and the ventilation effect is not particularly good either. The reason for this increased arrangement of the pipe attachment is that it was previously thought that since the air flow near the roof moves parallel to the roof surface, the pipe attachment to avoid unpleasant influences due to the air flow near the roof at a height significantly above the roof penetration, on safest, as prescribed for chimneys, must be above the ridge line.
- the invention now goes a new way and avoids the disadvantages mentioned above.
- the pipe attachment in the inserted state, the pipe attachment is arranged directly above the surface of the roof and is adapted to the flow near the roof. Due to the arrangement of the pipe attachment directly above the surface of the roof, the pipe head and the roof duct must be adapted to the roof pitch not necessary anymore.
- the ventilation hood according to the invention the flow near the roof is used for ventilation. The ventilation results are excellent.
- the overlap provided in the ventilation hood ensures that there is little or no occurrence of undesirable influences of the air flow in the area of the ventilation window. In any case, there is no entry of the flow near the roof into the pipe attachment, which would amount to ventilation.
- the one-piece design of the ventilation hood means that the aforementioned components are in a certain predetermined and fixed arrangement to each other, so that the ventilation hood is handled as one part in a simple manner, i. H. can be used in the lower part of the Dachstein.
- the one-piece design naturally means that with certain roof pitches the pipe connection does not protrude into the roof interior perpendicular to the house level. However, this is not a problem, since the vent line and the pipe connection can be easily connected to one another via known angled adapter pipe pieces. In any case, the enormously simplified handling of the one-piece ventilation hood compensates for the possibly existing disadvantage of adapting the "oblique" pipe connection to the ventilation pipeline.
- the one-piece design of the ventilation hood also has manufacturing advantages.
- the ventilation hood i.e. H. whose pipe attachment is adapted to the flow near the roof.
- the top of the cover in the inserted state of the ventilation hood is approximately parallel to the roof surface and that, preferably, the central axis of the pipe connection and the top of the cover in one predetermined fixed angles are arranged to each other. This angle is between 40 ° to 70 °, preferably 50 ° to 60 ° and is in particular about 55 °
- the overlap is designed like a tunnel to achieve high negative pressure values in the area of the ventilation windows and is aligned in the roof's fall line.
- the lower side edges of the cover are arranged at a short distance from the surface of the lower part of the Dachstein.
- the ventilation hood according to the invention is easy to handle, i. H. can be easily and quickly inserted into a Dachstein base. This purpose also serves to provide a snap-in connection for fastening the ventilation hood to the lower part of the Dachstein.
- the ventilation hood according to the invention should be able to be used in particular in a known roof tile lower part which has a lateral opening in a dome-like bulge.
- pockets are provided within the bulge on opposite sides.
- the pockets are used to fasten the pipe connection.
- the connection is made in the known ventilation hood in that projections are provided on the pipe connection, which are inserted into the pockets, but are not snapped into place.
- the pipe connection is then clamped against the bulge by a screw connection, resulting in a firm connection between the lower part of the Dachstein and the pipe connection.
- locking projections are provided for engaging or latching into the pockets formed on the lower part of the Dachstein.
- the insertion into the opening of the lower part of the Dachstein can be facilitated if the aforementioned locking projections are provided in that they each have a run-on slope that runs out onto the pipe body of the pipe connection.
- the locking of the ventilation hood with the lower part of the roof tile can be carried out in a simple manner without any special effort and risk of damage.
- the pipe attachment has a bottom, with the upper region of the pipe connection passing through protrudes the floor into the pipe attachment and protrudes over the floor. This measure ensures that any moisture that may get into the pipe attachment is deposited either directly on the floor or on the upper region of the pipe connection which acts as a step and projects above the floor. In any case, this measure considerably reduces the risk of moisture entering the pipe connection and thus the venting pipe.
- a drainage of the liquid collecting in the area of the tube attachment can be achieved in a particularly simple manner in that the ventilation windows are pulled down to the floor.
- this measure results in an enlarged cross section of the ventilation window, which has a positive effect on the ventilation effect.
- the collar is preferably firmly connected to the ventilation hood. So that the pipe attachment can be arranged directly above the surface of the roof, it is further provided that the collar is fixed to the pipe attachment or at the transition from the pipe connection to the pipe attachment.
- the ventilation hood In the case of stronger winds and / or a snow load acting on the ventilation hood, the ventilation hood is frequently exposed to large forces or moments which can lead to the ventilation hood becoming detached from the lower part of the roof tile.
- This is preferably counteracted by the fact that beneath the collar there is a protrusion extending from the tube attachment to form a groove for inserting the ventilation hood into the opening of the dome-like bulge. in the inserted state, the outer edge of the bulge is at least partially in the groove, the projection arranged below the collar then serving as an abutment for those forces which can possibly lead to a lifting of the ventilation hood.
- the provision of the aforementioned projection facilitates the insertion of the outer edge of the bulge into the groove in that the groove is widened at least in the front open area.
- the projection can be formed all around the tube attachment below the collar. In this case, it then preferably has a shorter length than the collar. Such an embodiment is of course not necessarily necessary. It is sufficient in itself if the projection is provided at the front and rear end of the ventilation hood below the collar, as seen in the fall line of the roof.
- the cover may be designed as a separate part and only the pipe connection and the pipe attachment and perhaps also the collar to be formed in one piece. In such a case, it is advantageous for handling reasons if the overlap can be locked with the pipe attachment, since this type of connection can be established relatively easily and quickly.
- a comparatively simple to manufacture and secure type of fastening of the cover to the pipe attachment can also be achieved in that the cover can be connected to the pipe attachment in a form-fitting manner and can also be latched to the pipe attachment.
- Such a type of attachment ensures that even with high forces acting on the overlap there is no need to fear undesired lifting.
- the cover it is advisable for the cover to essentially cover the bulge on the lower part of the Dachstein in length.
- the bulge is hardly visible from the outside, on the other hand, the overlap adapts well to the roof due to the arrangement close to the surface and is hardly noticeable.
- a ventilation hood 1 is shown.
- the ventilation hood 1 is provided for insertion into a lower part 2 of the roof tile.
- the Dachstein lower part 2 is shown in FIGS. 4 to 6.
- the roof tile lower part 2, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 to 6, has a dome-like bulge 3, in which a lateral opening 4 is provided.
- the vent hood 1 can be inserted into the opening 4, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 1.
- the ventilation hood 1 has a pipe connection 5 projecting into the roof interior of a roof, not shown, which is to be connected to a ventilation pipeline, also not shown. Furthermore, the ventilation hood 1 has a pipe attachment 6 adjoining the pipe connection 5. While the pipe connection 5 has an approximately cylindrical shape, the pipe attachment 6 has an approximately elliptical shape, but the central axes M of the pipe connection 5 and the pipe attachment 6 are coaxial, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 3.
- Ventilation windows 7, 8 are provided on the tube attachment 6 on opposite sides, specifically on the long sides of the elliptical tube attachment 6. In this case, two ventilation windows 7, 8 are provided on each side, which are separated from each other directly next to one another via separating web 9. The areas of the pipe attachment 6 which have the ventilation windows 7, 8 are arranged parallel to one another.
- the tube attachment 6 is open at the top, but this is not absolutely necessary. In any case, an overlap 10 is provided above the tube attachment 6.
- the cover 10 covers the tube attachment 6 from above and also covers the ventilation windows 7, 8 from the side. It goes without saying that the lateral covering areas 11, 12 of the cover 10 are each arranged at a distance from the ventilation windows 7, 8 on opposite sides of the pipe attachment 6, in order to enable ventilation at all through the ventilation windows 7, 8.
- the ventilation hood 1 also has a collar 13 which is curved downwards.
- the collar 13 ultimately creates the end or transition of the ventilation hood 1 to the Dachstein base part 2.
- the collar 13 lies at least partially on the bulge 3 of the lower roof part 2, so that ultimately the lateral opening 4 of the lower roof part 2 is closed or covered on all sides after the ventilation hood 1 has been inserted.
- the pipe attachment 6 is arranged immediately above the surface of the roof and adapted to the flow near the roof. It is also very important and independent of the features mentioned above that the pipe connection 5 and the pipe attachment 6 are formed in one piece, which means that these two components are in a fixed relationship or at a fixed angle to one another.
- the collar 13 is firmly connected to the pipe connection 5 and / or the pipe attachment 6, that is to say the pipe connection 5, pipe attachment 6 and collar 13 represent a component which can be handled jointly .
- the overlap is formed in one piece with the aforementioned component unit, but this is not the case here.
- the overlap 10 i. H. the top of which, when the ventilation hood 1 is in the inserted state of the roof, is arranged approximately parallel to the roof surface or to the surface of the lower roof stone part 2.
- the central axis M of the pipe connection 5 and the overlap 10 seen in the fall line of the roof are arranged at a fixed angle ⁇ to one another. In the present case, the angle ⁇ is approximately 55 °.
- the overlap 10 is designed tunnel-like in the fall line of the roof.
- a tunnel 14, 15 is provided between the cover 10 and the pipe attachment 6.
- the flow near the roof flows through the respective tunnels 14, 15, as a result of which the ventilation is effected.
- the lower side edges 16, 17 are arranged at a short distance from the surface of the lower roof part 2.
- the side edges 16, 17 should be pulled down so far that there is a certain distance between the lowermost point of the ventilation window 7, 8 and the respective side edge 16, 17, so that even in unfavorable flow conditions, an inflow into the ventilation window 7, 8 is avoided from the side.
- the latching connection includes latching projections 18 on the one hand, and pockets 19 corresponding to the latching projections 18 on the other hand.
- a latching projection 18 is formed on the pipe connection 5 approximately on opposite sides, namely transversely to the fall line of the roof, while the lower part 2 of the roof tile corresponding points pockets 19 are provided, in which the locking projections 18 can engage.
- the locking projections 18 each have a run-up slope that runs out onto the pipe connection 5.
- the tubular attachment 6 has a bottom 20.
- the upper region 21 of the pipe connection 5 projects through the floor 20 into the pipe attachment 6. It is important that the upper region 21 of the pipe connection 5 protrudes over the bottom 20.
- the upper region 21 could also be referred to as a protruding inner ring. 1 that the ventilation windows 7, 8 are pulled down to the bottom 20.
- the bottom 20 as a whole is arched, specifically falling towards the central axis M of the pipe connection 5.
- the upper region 21 of the pipe connection 5 projects so far into the pipe attachment 6 that the upper edge of the upper region 21 projects beyond the highest point of the curvature of the base 20.
- the collar 13 is, as has already been mentioned above, formed in one piece with the pipe connection 5 and / or the pipe attachment 6. In the illustrated embodiment, it is provided that the collar 13 is fixedly connected to the tubular attachment 6. Below the collar 13 there is a projection 22 which serves to form a groove 23 between the collar 13 and the projection 22. In the groove 23, the outer edge of the bulge 3 of the lower roof part 2 can be at least partially inserted. The groove 23 is widened at least in its front open area, which facilitates the insertion of the ventilation hood 1 into the opening 4 of the lower roof part 2 and thus of the edge of the bulge in the groove.
- the projection 22, as shown in the figures, can only be provided on the front and rear region of the tubular attachment 6 in the fall line of the roof. However, it can also basically be provided all around the tube attachment underneath the collar 13, it then being possible for the projection 22 to have a shorter length than the collar 13.
- the overlap can be formed in one piece with the tube attachment 6 and the tube connection 5 and the collar 13.
- the overlap 10 can be latched to the tubular attachment 6.
- a plurality of latching connections 24 are provided between the cover 10 and the pipe attachment 6.
- the locking connections 24 are arranged distributed over the upper elliptical edge of the tubular attachment 6.
- a fastening of the cover 10 to the pipe attachment 6 produced exclusively via snap connections
- such a connection can also be provided in which the cover can be positively connected to the pipe attachment on the one hand and can be locked to the latter on the other hand.
- a corresponding projection or a groove could be provided on the upper edge of the tubular attachment 6, which is undercut or engaged in by a corresponding nose on the cover 10.
- the aforementioned snap connections are then additionally implemented.
- the overlap 10 essentially covers the bulge 3 lengthways, so that the bulge 3 is hardly recognizable from the outside. In any case, however, the overlap 10 located on the pipe top 6 should not protrude beyond the upper installation edge 25 of the lower roof part 2, in order not to hinder the installation.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a ventilation hood for insertion into a preferably lateral opening of a roof tile lower part, in particular with a dome-like bulge, with a pipe connection protruding into the roof interior, in particular for connection to a ventilation pipe, a pipe window adjoining the pipe connection, and a pipe attachment arranged above the pipe attachment , the ventilation window with a covering covering at a distance and a preferably arched down collar for at least partially laying on the bulge of the Dachsteinunterteil.
A ventilation hood of the type mentioned above has long been known in practice and is used for natural ventilation, for example of kitchens or toilets. Roof vents, as ventilation hoods are also called, with a pipe connection below the roof are usually passed through the roof approximately perpendicular to the house level and end in a different type of pipe attachment above the roof. The pipe attachment itself is also aligned perpendicular to the house level.
The problem with the known ventilation hood with pipe connection is that the roof leadthrough must be adapted to the respective roof pitch, which is usually between 26 ° and 52 °, which is expensive. Another disadvantage of the known ventilation hood is that the pipe attachment is arranged some distance above the roof surface.
The invention now goes a new way and avoids the disadvantages mentioned above. According to the invention, it is provided in the ventilation hood mentioned at the outset that, in the inserted state, the pipe attachment is arranged directly above the surface of the roof and is adapted to the flow near the roof. Due to the arrangement of the pipe attachment directly above the surface of the roof, the pipe head and the roof duct must be adapted to the roof pitch not necessary anymore. In the ventilation hood according to the invention, the flow near the roof is used for ventilation. The ventilation results are excellent. The overlap provided in the ventilation hood ensures that there is little or no occurrence of undesirable influences of the air flow in the area of the ventilation window. In any case, there is no entry of the flow near the roof into the pipe attachment, which would amount to ventilation.
In terms of handling technology, it is advisable that the pipe connection and the pipe attachment as well as the overlap and possibly also the collar are formed in one piece. The one-piece design of the ventilation hood means that the aforementioned components are in a certain predetermined and fixed arrangement to each other, so that the ventilation hood is handled as one part in a simple manner, i. H. can be used in the lower part of the Dachstein. The one-piece design naturally means that with certain roof pitches the pipe connection does not protrude into the roof interior perpendicular to the house level. In addition, the one-piece design of the ventilation hood also has manufacturing advantages.
It has already been mentioned at the beginning that the ventilation hood, i.e. H. whose pipe attachment is adapted to the flow near the roof. In order to obtain an optically and aesthetically particularly good impression of the ventilation hood according to the invention, it is structurally provided that the top of the cover in the inserted state of the ventilation hood is approximately parallel to the roof surface and that, preferably, the central axis of the pipe connection and the top of the cover in one predetermined fixed angles are arranged to each other. This angle is between 40 ° to 70 °, preferably 50 ° to 60 ° and is in particular about 55 °
For fluidic reasons, the overlap is designed like a tunnel to achieve high negative pressure values in the area of the ventilation windows and is aligned in the roof's fall line. For the same reason it is also envisaged that the lower side edges of the cover are arranged at a short distance from the surface of the lower part of the Dachstein.
It has already been mentioned at the beginning that the ventilation hood according to the invention is easy to handle, i. H. can be easily and quickly inserted into a Dachstein base. This purpose also serves to provide a snap-in connection for fastening the ventilation hood to the lower part of the Dachstein.
The ventilation hood according to the invention should be able to be used in particular in a known roof tile lower part which has a lateral opening in a dome-like bulge. In this known roof tile lower part pockets are provided within the bulge on opposite sides. In a ventilation hood known from practice, the pockets are used to fasten the pipe connection. The connection is made in the known ventilation hood in that projections are provided on the pipe connection, which are inserted into the pockets, but are not snapped into place. The pipe connection is then clamped against the bulge by a screw connection, resulting in a firm connection between the lower part of the Dachstein and the pipe connection. In order to avoid this complex type of fastening of the pipe connection on the lower part of the Dachstein, in a preferred embodiment of the aforementioned snap connection on the pipe connection on approximately opposite sides, locking projections are provided for engaging or latching into the pockets formed on the lower part of the Dachstein.
The insertion into the opening of the lower part of the Dachstein can be facilitated if the aforementioned locking projections are provided in that they each have a run-on slope that runs out onto the pipe body of the pipe connection. By this measure, the locking of the ventilation hood with the lower part of the roof tile can be carried out in a simple manner without any special effort and risk of damage.
In the case of ventilation hoods of the type mentioned at the outset, it is often difficult to avoid in damp currents that moisture gets into the pipe attachment. This can lead to the moisture reaching the rooms to be ventilated via the vent pipe. In order to essentially avoid this, the pipe attachment has a bottom, with the upper region of the pipe connection passing through protrudes the floor into the pipe attachment and protrudes over the floor. This measure ensures that any moisture that may get into the pipe attachment is deposited either directly on the floor or on the upper region of the pipe connection which acts as a step and projects above the floor. In any case, this measure considerably reduces the risk of moisture entering the pipe connection and thus the venting pipe.
A drainage of the liquid collecting in the area of the tube attachment can be achieved in a particularly simple manner in that the ventilation windows are pulled down to the floor. In addition, this measure results in an enlarged cross section of the ventilation window, which has a positive effect on the ventilation effect.
Due to the fixed or unchangeable arrangement of the ventilation hood to the lower part of the roof tile, regardless of the roof pitch, there are of course also different inclinations of the pipe attachment with different roof pitches. In order to allow a good drainage of the liquid deposited in the area of the pipe attachment and in any case to prevent this liquid from entering the pipe receptacle, it is also provided that the bottom is curved and that the upper area of the pipe receptacle is above the highest point of the curvature protrudes from the ground.
It has already been mentioned at the beginning that the collar is preferably firmly connected to the ventilation hood. So that the pipe attachment can be arranged directly above the surface of the roof, it is further provided that the collar is fixed to the pipe attachment or at the transition from the pipe connection to the pipe attachment.
In the case of stronger winds and / or a snow load acting on the ventilation hood, the ventilation hood is frequently exposed to large forces or moments which can lead to the ventilation hood becoming detached from the lower part of the roof tile. This is preferably counteracted by the fact that beneath the collar there is a protrusion extending from the tube attachment to form a groove for inserting the ventilation hood into the opening of the dome-like bulge. in the inserted state, the outer edge of the bulge is at least partially in the groove, the projection arranged below the collar then serving as an abutment for those forces which can possibly lead to a lifting of the ventilation hood.
The provision of the aforementioned projection facilitates the insertion of the outer edge of the bulge into the groove in that the groove is widened at least in the front open area.
Of course, the projection can be formed all around the tube attachment below the collar. In this case, it then preferably has a shorter length than the collar. Such an embodiment is of course not necessarily necessary. It is sufficient in itself if the projection is provided at the front and rear end of the ventilation hood below the collar, as seen in the fall line of the roof.
For some applications, it may be appropriate for the cover to be designed as a separate part and only the pipe connection and the pipe attachment and perhaps also the collar to be formed in one piece. In such a case, it is advantageous for handling reasons if the overlap can be locked with the pipe attachment, since this type of connection can be established relatively easily and quickly.
A comparatively simple to manufacture and secure type of fastening of the cover to the pipe attachment can also be achieved in that the cover can be connected to the pipe attachment in a form-fitting manner and can also be latched to the pipe attachment. Such a type of attachment ensures that even with high forces acting on the overlap there is no need to fear undesired lifting.
For optical and aesthetic reasons, it is advisable for the cover to essentially cover the bulge on the lower part of the Dachstein in length. As a result, the bulge is hardly visible from the outside, on the other hand, the overlap adapts well to the roof due to the arrangement close to the surface and is hardly noticeable.
Finally, it is advisable for installation reasons that the overlap on the pipe attachment does not protrude beyond the upper edge of the lower part of the Dachstein towards the ridge. This measure ensures that the laying of roof tiles is not hindered when the ventilation hood is already in place.

The
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the
Finally, the
It is now important that the
Der Winkel α beträgt vorliegend etwa 55°.1, the
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 2, the
An effective locking connection between the two aforementioned components serves to fasten the
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 3, the
The
It has previously been mentioned that the overlap can be formed in one piece with the
As can further be seen from FIG. 1, the
Finally, it should be pointed out that the
