Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a multi-position hooking device for a ski boot comprising, on the one hand, a hook and, on the other hand, means intended to receive the hook and having several hooking positions for the hook.
To close and tighten a ski boot, it is well known to use a tensioner provided with a loop coming to engage between two teeth of a tooth or rack. Such a closure device is described for example in US Pat. No. 4,051,611. In more recent embodiments, the buckle is replaced by a hook. A hook is also used in combination with a cut-out plate. The thickness of the teeth of the denture, respectively the width of the material separating two cut notches, must be sufficient to support the force exerted by the hook. This condition limits the number of positions for a given length of the denture, respectively of the cut insert, that is to say the fine adjustment of the tightening that can be obtained at the point of attachment. To refine the adjustment of the tightening, the user must therefore very frequently have recqurs to the second adjustment means with which the shoe closing and tightening devices are generally fitted, second adjustment means constituted by a screw connection between the hook and the tensioner lever. It is also not possible to reduce the space between two teeth of the denture, respectively the width of the cutouts of a wafer, because the hook must itself have a sufficient thickness to support the clamping force.
The present invention aims to significantly increase the number of attachment positions in the attachment member for the same length of this attachment member.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the means intended to receive the hook comprise a set of identical bars mounted in parallel in a slide with a clearance at least equal to the thickness of the part of the hook intended to be engaged between two bars in its hooked position.
The hook is therefore hooked into the attachment means by separating two bars. There is no longer any empty space between the hook and the support thereof on the support of the bars. This support is perfectly solid. The size of the adjustment step is given by the diameter of the bars. However, as these only work in compression, their diameter can be very small, which allows without other to obtain a very fine adjustment pitch. It would therefore be possible to do without an additional fine adjustment.
The slide can be formed on an insert or directly in the plastic of the shoe, shell or collar.
In the case where the slide is formed on an insert, this part, with its bars, can be used both as a fixed part as a movable part connected to a tensioning lever and cooperating with a fixed hook or as an intermediate element on a pulling or even, for example, at the back of a shoe to adjust the inclination of the upper of the shoe.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the invention, as well as a variant thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a fastening member.
Figure 4 is a sectional view along IV-IV of Figure 1 with the hook engaged in a first position.
Figure 5 is a view similar to that of Figure 4 showing the hook engaged in another position.
Figure 6 is a variant of Figure 5 with bars of smaller diameter.
The
If we compare the fastening member to a standard denture, we see that we have gained in length the equivalent of the sum of the thicknesses of the between teeth minus one.
Ceci est illustré par la figure 6.Since the bars do not work in bending or buckling, it is without other possibility to reduce the diameter of the
By reversing the position of the
Both the
The
According to an alternative embodiment, the
According to an embodiment not shown, the
