Abstract

Bei dem Verfahren wird der flüssige Abfallstoff in einem heißen Rauchgasstrom 4 verdampft und oxidiert. Der Rauchgasstrom 4 enthält dabei den zur Oxidation nötigen Sauerstoff. Wesentlich ist dabei, daß der flüssige Abfallstoff in den heißen Rauchgasstrom 4 mit einer zur Hauptströmungsrichtung senkrechten Komponente als fächerförmiger Flachstrahl mit Hilfe einer oder mehrerer Zweistoffdüsen 6 eingedüst wird, die pulsierend mit einer Frequenz von 5 s-1 bis 70 s-1, vorzugsweise 10 s-1 bis 20 s-1 betrieben werden, wobei an jeder Zweistoffdüse 6 im Wechseltakt ein fächerförmiger Sprühteppich 7 mit relativ groben Tropfen großer Reichweite und ein fächerförmiger Sprühteppich 7 mit relativ feinen Tropfen kleiner Reichweite erzeugt wird, so daß der Rauchgasstrom 4 alternierend mit feinversprühter kurzer Reichweite und groben, das Rauchgas mit relativ großer Wurfweite durchdringenden Tropfen beaufschlagt wird.
