In Figur 1 ist in Prinzipdarstellung der Ablauf eines Verfahrens zur Herstellung
von Dichtungs- oder Dichtscheiben 1 fĆ¼r den dichten AbschluĆ der Ćffnungen 2
von BehƤltern 3 abgebildet. Eine Bahn 4 aus geschƤumtem Kunststoff wie Polystyrol
wird mit einem Kleber 5 beschichtet, der in normalem Zustand nicht klebend
wirkt, aber unter Druck seine Klebefunktion aktiviert. Die Bahn 4 mit der
Kleberschicht 5 wird vorzugsweise von einem Spezialhersteller vorgefertigt und
in Rollenform angeliefert, kann aber auch in der dargestellten Weise in einem
gemeinsamen Fertigungsverfahren hergestellt werden. Die Bahn 4 wird auf der
mit dem Kleber 5 beschichteten Seite mit einem TrƤgerband 6 kaschiert, auf
dessen OberflƤche der Kleber selbst bei DruckausĆ¼bung nicht kleben kann. Das
TrƤgerband besteht vorzugsweise aus teflonischer Polyethylenfolie, also einem
mit Antihaftschicht beschichteten KunststofftrƤger, einem Material, auf dem die
Bahn 4 mit der Kleberschicht 5 nur haftet. Auch diese Bahn 4,5,6 kann vorgefertigt

Die Bahn 4 mit Kleberschicht 5 und TrƤgerband 6 wird durch Kalander -Rollen 7
und 8 gemeinsam zu einer Stanzvorrichtung 9 mit Matrize 10, AmboĆ oder dergleichen
transportiert, die hier nur symbolisch angedeutet sind. Die Stanze 9
stanzt jeweils quer zur Bahn 4 mehrere im wesentlichen kreisfƶrmige Dichtscheiben
1 aus. Die Stanztiefe ist so gewƤhlt, daĆ die Stanzung die OberflƤche
des TrƤgerbandes 6 nicht erreicht. Die nach der Stanzung noch an der OberflƤche
des TrƤgerbandes haftenden Dichtscheiben 1 bestehen also im wesentlichen
aus dem ausgestanzten Schaumstoff 41 mit der Kleberbeschichtung 51.
Die so vorgestanzte Bahn 4,5,6 wird einer Umlenkrolle 11 zugefĆ¼hrt, die das
Transportband 6 mit der daran haftenden Bahn 4 und der Beschichtung 5 einer
nicht dargestellten Aufwickeleinrichtung zufĆ¼hrt. Es ist mƶglich, vor dem Aufwickeln,
das Transportband und die daran haftende Bahn 4 zu trennen und getrennt
einem Recycling-Vorgang zuzufĆ¼hren. Wegen des kleinen Durchmessers
der Umlenkrolle 11 folgen zwar die Bahn 4 und das TrƤgerband dem vorgeschriebenen
Weg, doch heben sich die Dichtscheiben 1 wegen der Steifheit
ihres Materials von der OberflƤche des TrƤgerbandes 4 ab und kƶnnen so von
einem angedeuteten Stempel 12 erfaĆt und in die Ćffnung 13 des Schraubverschlusses
14 fĆ¼r den BehƤlter 3 eingefĆ¼hrt werden. Der Stempel ergreift die
jeweilige Dichtscheibe von der Kleberseite aus. Er ist vorteilhaft mit einem Material
beschichtet, das zwar an dem Kleber haften, nicht jedoch mit ihm verkleben
kann. Bei der Materialwahl fĆ¼r die Dichtscheibe ist ein gewisses MaĆ an
Steifheit vorteilhaft, um den beschriebenen Effekt des einseitigen Ablƶsens der
Dichtscheiben aus der Bahn zu zeigen. Der Durchmesser der Umlenkrolle 11
sollte dabei berĆ¼cksichtigt werden. Die Abmessungen der Stempel 12 sind vorteilhaft
an die FlƤchenabmessungen der Dichtscheiben anpaĆbar oder angepaĆt.The
Im nƤchsten Arbeitsgang gelangt der SchraubverschluĆ 14 vor die Ćffnung 2
des BehƤlters 3 und wird so auf die Ćffnung 2 geschraubt, gedrĆ¼ckt o.Ƥ., daĆ
sich die Dichtscheibe 1 auf die Ćffnung 2 legt. Sie bedeckt dabei den Rand 21
der Ćffnung. Durch den beim VerschlieĆen des BehƤlters 3 auf den Rand 21
ausgeĆ¼bten Druck wird der Kleber der Schicht 5 aktiviert und klebt die Dichtscheibe
1 fest auf den Rand 21. Da die Dichtscheibe 1 im Ć¼brigen Bereich nicht
aktiviert wird, werden die im BehƤlter 3 enthaltenden Tabletten oder dergleichen
nicht verklebt.In the next step, the

entsprechend viele Stempel 12 nebeneinander angeordnet und kƶnnen so
gleichzeitig etliche SchraubverschlĆ¼sse 14 bestĆ¼cken. Die FlƤchen- und Dikkenabmessungen
der Dichtscheiben kƶnnen auch unterschiedlich sein, abhƤngig

- A method of sealing containers made of glass or the like with sealing discs which are pre-punched from a web and inserted in a closure at the bottom of the closure, wherein the pre-punched web is conveyed,
characterised in thatthe sealing discs (1) are part of a web (4) made of a foamed plastic and coated with a pressure-activatable adhesive (5) which clings to the mouth of the container opening,that the side of the web (4) coated with the adhesive (5) is laminated to a non-adhesive supporting strip (6) which is detachable from the adhesive layer,that the sealing discs (1) are pre-punched from the side of the web (4) remote from the supporting strip (6),that the punching depth is less than the thickness of the coated web (4),that the laminated pre-punched web is conveyed in curved or rolled form,that the sealing discs (1) are detached at one side from the web (4) and from the supporting strip (6) by changing the direction of the strip (6),that the stiff sealing discs (1) which are detached at one side are picked up by one or more plungers (12),that each particular sealing disc (1) is inserted in a closure (14), to the bottom of the closure, with the side remote from the adhesive (5) foremost,that the closure (14) is placed on the container opening in such a way that the sealing disc (1) is pressed against the container opening (2) with the adhesive layer foremost and the adhesive (5) is pressure-activated in the region of the mouth of the opening, andthat the adhesive (5) is cured without any heating action. - A method according to claim 1 or 2,
