Abstract

The stocking is made from two filaments - polyamide and elasthane, formed into linked loops in a single weaving operation without the use of special chemicals. The two filaments are joined together in double loops, with the elasthane tending to draw the loops together. The resulting material is more compact and supple to the touch.

Description

It is an intertwining of curvilinear wires and a single component is sufficient for the formation (by means of needles and plates) of a mesh fabric thus replacing the traditional system for creating the mesh with the weft (horizontal) and the warp (vertical) from METIER (see NL-A-6 702 591).

1)Each mesh is linked to the next by means of an inter-mesh. A mesh is formed of the upper arc called the head or needle loop, of two lower semicircles called legs of buckles or buckles of plates and two wings or rods which connect the head to the feet. (see diagram fig. 1)

The diagram represents a mesh where N ° 1 indicates the loop formed by the needle, the N ° 2 the straight rods, N ° 4 the loops formed of plates which joined, form the inter-mesh N ° 3.

2)The main type of interlacing used in the production of women's stockings is the smooth mesh (see diagram fig. 2)

2)From the graphic representation, we can clearly note how the smooth mesh is remarkably well endowed with elasticity because the inter-meshes, not being blocked, allow the wire to slide freely, in any direction, depending on the type of external stress (see diagram fig. 2)

The elasticity acquired from this system to create the mesh does, however, have a considerable handicap: the mesh that goes.

3) When a wire breaks at a generic point, it is created, because of the non-existence blocked inter-meshes, a continuous thread that repeats continuously (in the vertical direction). (see diagram fig. 3)

ENTRECROISEMENTS INDEMAILLABLESFIXED INTERLOCATIONS

Thus are called the intersections which, by their own constitution, oppose the knitting which fixes the heads of the meshes.

The methods, in use, are based on meshes in the form of Loops, Plated, Transported, Jetties, etc ... which, in any way, "close" the mesh which spins, opposing a barrier to the flow of meshes. The most widely used system in the production of stockings for women is the one with loop shape.

MAILLES A FORME DE BOUCLES (Sélections 1:1 . 3:1 ; 7:1 etc...) LOOP-SHAPED MESHES (Selections 1: 1. 3: 1; 7: 1 etc ...)

  • a) obligatoirement engagée dans un parcours fractionné et non rectiligne;
These selections, which are arranged in a checkerboard pattern, slow down spinning because:
  • a) obligatorily engaged in a divided and not straight course;
  • b) as in diagram D, there are differentiated heights of the meshes which have, as a consequence, narrowing of the shapes with mouths on the inter-mesh. (see diagram fig. 4)
  • Although having reached a good level of non-runability, since the opening of the narrow channel on the inter-mesh brakes, because of the major friction, the dynamics of the wire, this product has a low coefficient of elasticity. Another disadvantage of the aforementioned net is due to the touch of the fabric, very frizzy, in comparison with the smooth mesh.

    BAS ET COLLANTS INDEMAILLABLES MODELE "LIFE"WATERPROOF stockings and tights "LIFE" MODEL

Current technology systems have made it possible to deepen studies of the traditional foolproof and we got to create a new mesh model that we called "THE INDEMAILLABLE LIFE", extraordinary in every way, because it presents a perfect fusion of the qualities of smooth knit and non-flammable traditional.

The formation of the "LIFE SYSTEM" mesh was carried out in the following way: While in the weft mesh fabrics (traditional non-slip) a single thread successively forms the mesh, in the "LIFE" model the chain two threads (polyamide and elasthane), technically called plated, form the meshes simultaneously; in practice, with the only weaving operation, without the use of any special chemical and without the use of a thread different from those used in the normal production of stockings and tights, we manage to create a double loop called, in fact, "Throw" mesh. We can clearly see, in diagram E (see fig. 5), the aforementioned concepts and the specific function of the elasthane which tends to approach the mouths of smooth mesh ( tightening effect ) , thus blocking the continuation of the shooting. At rest, the LIFE system. for example a tights, is shorter and is, to the touch, more compact and more flexible in comparison with the traditional non-slip, but, compared to the latter, it has notable characteristics of stretch and elasticity which improve the quality and, above all, threading.

Explanation of diagram E: the black wire, on the drawing, corresponds to that of elastane, while the red thread corresponds to polyamide. These two are working on smooth mesh weaving.

On the real photo, (see diagram fig. 6), you can see an enlargement in 20 '' of the mesh fabric we made. We clearly see the inter-meshes well tightened at the ends of the elasthane and polyamide threads; they go down to smooth mesh until they form real and clean "diamonds" at the end of which bind the loops of the second polyamide worked with the net. In the event of breakage of one or more wires at a generic point in the weft, the friction that occurs at the meeting point wires prevent dissolution of flanges and enlargement in any shooting direction.

    Résumé du brevet "Le bas Indémaillable" (LIFE L'INDEMAILLABLE ET LIFE RUN FREE et LIFE NEVER RUN)Summary of the patent "Le bas Indémaillable" (LIFE THE INDEMAILLABLE AND LIFE RUN FREE and LIFE NEVER RUN)

Thanks to this invention, if a hole is made in a tights or a non-slip stocking, this hole will not extend and tights or stockings will not spin. Stockings or tights that can be worn or worn can be worn normally because it will not spin.

    Claims (1)

    1. Run-free hosiery comprised of the combination of a loop-shaped mesh composed of an inner-mesh and a smooth rectilinear mesh, this combination having been achieved by the knitting of the mesh chain from two threads of polyamide and elasthane, in one operation, creating a double-loop, with the specific function of the elasthane to draw near the loops of the smooth mesh, thereby blocking the continuation of the run.
