Definitions
- the invention relates to an elevator installation with a recognition device for recognizing calls made on floors, in which the recognition device forwards the received calls to the elevator control.
- EP 341 381 has disclosed a method and a device for the secure and convenient input of control commands, in particular in elevator systems, in which control commands can be sent to the elevator control using a portable, wireless transmitter.
- the portable transmitter unit has two different operating modes, "manual, at the push of a button" and “automatic, permanent".
- the desired operating mode can be set using an operating mode selector on the transmitter unit.
- the desired destination can be entered directly and transmitted to the elevator control using a numeric keypad attached to the transmitter unit.
- the transmission unit transmits desired target information to the elevator control system at certain time intervals.
- the acknowledgment or signaling takes place on a display attached to the transmitter unit. The user is informed that his destination call has been registered and which elevator he must use.
- the portable transmitter device is provided with various function keys and a display, which means that in any case the transmitter must be taken to determine the desired operating mode. This is impractical if one Passenger does not have a free hand to operate the transmitter.
- the input acknowledgment and the assigned cabin are only shown on the display of the transmitter, which he therefore has to take out of his pocket each time to read the display.
- the function keys and the display the dimensions are too large to allow the transmitter to be carried comfortably.
- the use of a keyboard and a display creates a considerable manufacturing effort.
- the invention is based on the object of proposing an elevator installation with a detection device for detecting calls made on floors of the type mentioned at the outset, which does not have their disadvantages and which offers the passenger greater ease of use.
- the advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that the desired destination is automatically transmitted to the elevator controller by the information providers carried by the elevator users or by the recognition of features of the elevator users of the elevator controller without the passenger having to do anything personally.
- security is increased by access authorization only to certain floors.
- the elevator control system also receives the desired destination floor additional transport conditions. With the help of an input device attached in the area of the elevator, the passenger can still change the destination.
- the elevator user is optically or acoustically acknowledged and the cabin assigned to the call is made known.
- 1 shows a block diagram of an arrangement of an elevator installation according to the invention.
- 1 denotes an information provider, which can be designed, for example, as a card in credit card format.
- This information transmitter 1 mainly consists of an antenna 2 and a transmitter electronics section 3.
- the electronics section 3 has a transmitting and receiving unit and a memory with an identification code.
- a battery preferably a long-term battery, is attached to the information transmitter 1 for supplying the electronics 3. It is also possible to design the information transmitter 1 as a passive element and to feed it via an electromagnetic field.
- the transmitter electronics 3 is stationary outside the elevator area and is woken up by an electromagnetic field 4 emitted by a detection device 5. After a corresponding request from the recognition device 5, the information provider 1 sends data 6 to the recognition device 5.
- These data 6 can contain direct information, for example the floor number, about the desired destination floor, or the data 6 serve for identification (identification code) of the elevator user and allow access to the information stored in a memory 8 about the destination floor. After a predetermined time without communication, the information transmitter 1 falls back into the idle state.
- the memory 8 is installed in a processing unit 9 of an elevator control 10 and contains the information about the destination floor.
- the memory 8 containing the destination floor information could be attached directly to the information transmitter 1.
- the recognition device 5 directly receives the information about the destination floor.
- the memory 8 contains further individual transport conditions and information from passengers such as the passenger name, information about the space required, solo travel (e.g.
- the detection device 5 is equipped with one or more antennas 11 and monitors a specific part of the building in access to an elevator system. It independently searches the corresponding part of the building for information providers 1 and manages the communication with an electronic part 12.
- the electronic part 12 consists of a transmitting and receiving unit and a communication management. The communication between the detection device 5 and the information transmitter 1 takes place by means of radio frequencies in the range of preferably 900 MHz to 6 GHz.
- the memory 8 on the information provider 1 or the processing unit 9 can be via the Detection device 5 read and preferably also be described.
- the recognition device 5 transmits the data 6 received from the information transmitter 1 to the processing unit 9 via a wire line 13.
- the target floor is evaluated in the processing unit 9 and a corresponding call 14 is generated by an allocation algorithm 15 to the elevator control 10.
- the allocation 16 received can be combined, for example, with the name of the passenger, the destination floor or a need for transportation and can be made known to the passenger. This is done either via a wire line 17 and a display 18 or acoustically, for example by speech synthesis. In the case of an elevator installation with only one elevator, the allocation 16 is not announced. As long as the processing unit 9 cannot derive a probable destination from the data 6, it prompts the passenger to enter the destination on an input device 19 via display 18 or acoustically after detection.
- the processing unit 9 either runs on its own computer or is integrated into the elevator control 10.
- the elevator control 10 operates in a known manner, such as known from EP 246 395, as a destination call control.
- the entire process of entering the call takes place hand-free, contactless and independent of the orientation of the information provider 1, which also means that the information provider 1 does not have to be visible to the identification device 5 for identification.
- the compact design with a minimal number of components enables the information transmitter 1 to be manufactured very cost-effectively.
- the input device 19 can be changed or selected.
- the new destination floor is added to the memory 8. This procedure enables the processing unit 5 to evaluate the usual destination floors of the passenger based on the identified person, the time of day, the day of the week and the starting floor.
- the recognition device 5 can be set up in such a way that it is based on an individual feature, e.g. recognizes a passenger optically (facial contours, fingerprints, iris) or based on language. If the features stored in the memory 8 match, the recognition device 5 sends a message to the processing unit 9. In this case, an information transmitter 1 can be dispensed with. To change the proposed target floor, an input device 19 is also to be attached here. The processing unit 9 then evaluates the call as in the exemplary embodiment described above.
- the input device 19 is dispensed with.
- the passenger can only reach floors to which he is authorized. This access authorization is determined on the basis of the information stored in the memory 8. In a hotel this can e.g. the main stop and the floor.
- the information transmitter 1 can also be attached to any object.
- the space management in the elevator has to be planned differently.
- information transmitter 1 on the car it can be recognized very easily whether the passenger is coming alone or with a car.
- the driver receives a card with an information provider 1 at the entrance. This card also serves as a ticket for paying the parking fee. He may take a luggage cart with him on his parking floor. As soon as he approaches the elevator, he and a possible car are recognized by the recognition device 5 and his card (information transmitter 1) is written with the current floor.
- the goal in parking garages is always the main stop of the building, so that they immediately receive an optimal elevator allocation that also takes their space requirements into account.
- the passenger is now brought to the destination.
- he comes back to the main stop, he is automatically taken, with or without a car, to the floor where his car is parked.
- the card (information provider 1) is taken away again.
- This variant can also be used in hotels where the card (information provider 1) also serves as a room key.
- the main stop and the floor where the corresponding room is located are specified as target floors.
- the information provider 1 is not carried as a separate card, but is designed as a coded key.
- the building key can be provided with the information transmitter 1 in a residential or office building.
- the detection device 5 is then attached to the door lock so that the elevator control 10 receives the destination call as soon as the door is opened. In an office building the process can be done using the time clock for time recording.
- An elevator group with the elevators 31a, 31b and 31c leads from the main stop 32 with the access 33 to the upper floors.
- At least one recognition device 5 is attached in the area of the access 33, 34 on each floor.
- the transmission and reception area of a recognition device 5 comprises the access assigned to it.
- the detection devices 5 are set up a few steps away from the elevators 31a, 31b, 31c, so that the elevator control 10 is informed of the destination early and the assigned elevator arrives at the landing door before or at the same time as possible with the passenger.
- a passenger 35 can thus be recognized and an elevator 31a, 31b, 31c can be provided without having to stand directly in front of the recognition device 5.
- An input device 19 is arranged in the area of the recognition device 5 for changing the proposed target floor.
- Display devices 18 are located above or to the side of the storey doors and / or on the input device 19.
- the passenger 35 is informed of the assigned elevator and the destination implicitly indicated by the information provider 1 before the elevator 31a, 31b, 31c is on the entry floor. If the passenger 35 now wants to choose a different destination, he can do so explicitly on the input device 19. The implicitly entered call is thus canceled.
- the processing unit 9 notes this change and will keep the new destination ready for this passenger 35 of the elevator control 10 at the same time each day. After a certain time, there is so much statistical material about the passenger 35 in the memory 8, that it is automatically brought to the right destination at any time if the habits remain the same.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an elevator installation with a recognition device for recognizing calls made on floors, in which the recognition device forwards the received calls to the elevator control.
Dem Benutzer wird so mitgeteilt, dass sein Zielruf registriert worden ist, und welchen Aufzug er benutzen muss.EP 341 381 has disclosed a method and a device for the secure and convenient input of control commands, in particular in elevator systems, in which control commands can be sent to the elevator control using a portable, wireless transmitter. The portable transmitter unit has two different operating modes, "manual, at the push of a button" and "automatic, permanent". The desired operating mode can be set using an operating mode selector on the transmitter unit. In the "manual, at the push of a button" operating mode, the desired destination can be entered directly and transmitted to the elevator control using a numeric keypad attached to the transmitter unit. In the "automatic, permanent" operating mode, the transmission unit transmits desired target information to the elevator control system at certain time intervals. The acknowledgment or signaling takes place on a display attached to the transmitter unit. The user is informed that his destination call has been registered and which elevator he must use.
In the method described above, the portable transmitter device is provided with various function keys and a display, which means that in any case the transmitter must be taken to determine the desired operating mode. This is impractical if one Passenger does not have a free hand to operate the transmitter. In addition, in both operating modes the input acknowledgment and the assigned cabin are only shown on the display of the transmitter, which he therefore has to take out of his pocket each time to read the display. In addition, due to the function keys and the display, the dimensions are too large to allow the transmitter to be carried comfortably. Finally, the use of a keyboard and a display creates a considerable manufacturing effort.
The invention is based on the object of proposing an elevator installation with a detection device for detecting calls made on floors of the type mentioned at the outset, which does not have their disadvantages and which offers the passenger greater ease of use.
This object is achieved by the invention characterized in claim 1.
The advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that the desired destination is automatically transmitted to the elevator controller by the information providers carried by the elevator users or by the recognition of features of the elevator users of the elevator controller without the passenger having to do anything personally. In buildings, security is increased by access authorization only to certain floors.
The measures listed in the subclaims allow advantageous developments and improvements of the elevator system specified in claim 1. By using an information store, the elevator control system also receives the desired destination floor additional transport conditions. With the help of an input device attached in the area of the elevator, the passenger can still change the destination. In addition, the elevator user is optically or acoustically acknowledged and the cabin assigned to the call is made known.

Die kompakte Bauweise mit einer minimalen Bestückung von Bauteilen ermöglichen eine sehr kostengünstige Fertigung der Informationsgeber 1.1 shows a block diagram of an arrangement of an elevator installation according to the invention. 1 denotes an information provider, which can be designed, for example, as a card in credit card format. This information transmitter 1 mainly consists of an
If the passenger wants to go to a different floor than the one proposed by the
As a variant, the
To ensure security in a building, the
The information transmitter 1 can also be attached to any object. For lifts in parking garages from The problem with department stores and airports is that it is not known in advance whether or not the passenger is carrying a baggage or shopping cart. The space management in the elevator has to be planned differently. By means of information transmitter 1 on the car, it can be recognized very easily whether the passenger is coming alone or with a car. In parking garages, the driver receives a card with an information provider 1 at the entrance. This card also serves as a ticket for paying the parking fee. He may take a luggage cart with him on his parking floor. As soon as he approaches the elevator, he and a possible car are recognized by the
Another variant consists in that the information provider 1 is not carried as a separate card, but is designed as a coded key. For example, the building key can be provided with the information transmitter 1 in a residential or office building. The
