Definitions
- the invention relates to a process for the production of disperse systems, in particular ointments, creams, suspensions, emulsions, gels or pastes and devices for carrying out individual steps of this process.
- Disperse systems such as ointments, creams, suspensions, emulsions, gels or pastes have so far mainly been produced by stirring the individual mixture components together.
- the stirring method has considerable disadvantages. It is time-consuming and a noticeable proportion of the material to be stirred remains on the device walls and the stirring tools in the stirring devices. This disadvantage has a particularly strong effect in the production of small amounts of mixture, as is the case, for example, in the production of ointments according to individual formulations.
- the mixing process can practically not take place in the absence of air, and heating or cooling of the material to be stirred can take place only relatively slowly because of the existing unfavorable heat transfer conditions in the devices.
- the invention has for its object to provide a method and devices that allow lossless manufacture of disperse systems while saving considerable time and energy.
- the object is achieved according to the invention by a method with the method steps apparent from the main claim.
- the treatment of the mix can be carried out with complete exclusion of air.
- a mixture residue remaining on the bag wall can be kept extremely small, because the mixture can be almost completely squeezed out of the flexible bag. If the mixture is to enter a squeeze tube as a storage vessel and the mixture is produced in the amount intended for a single tube, the finished mixture amount can also be introduced into the squeeze tube together with the tubular bag. Significant time losses when filling mixture components and when filling mixtures can be avoided in the process according to the invention.
- the pressure on the bag and its contents can be carried out in different ways, it being necessary to ensure that the components of the mixture can escape into the free volume of the bag when the pressure is influenced. It can be used with alternating printing direction printing plates or printing rollers, as are the subject of claims 7 and 32. It has proven to be particularly advantageous to exert the pressure on the bag and its contents by flexing the filled bag between profiled surfaces which can be moved in opposite directions. There is a large and extremely intensive mixing effect on the contents of the bag between the whaling surfaces. Due to the profiled surfaces, the contents of the bag are mixed thoroughly. Solid components are ground between the mutually moving inner surfaces of the bag and finely distributed in the mixture.
- heat-conducting organs can be heated very quickly or the temperature can be safely maintained, or the mixture can be cooled very quickly during the milling process. that is, the mechanical impact on the mixture components.
- a bursting of the flexible bag does not have to be feared even during intensive flexing between opposing profiled surfaces, if care is taken that the residual volume in the bag in each processing phase is always greater than the volume taken up by the filling compound and the solid components are in powdered form according to DAB10.
- the air can be removed from the bag, for example, by immersing the filled bag in a vertical position in a liquid and closing it below the surface of the liquid, or, in the case of smaller devices, simply by stripping the air from the bag, which can be done by hand.
- the process can advantageously be carried out with a device which has devices designed according to the invention for the individual process steps, in particular a device for flexing the bag filled with the mixture components, in which advantageously, in a rigid frame, at least one pair of interacting walk plates with a profiled surface parallel are displaceably supported with respect to one another and are provided on their mutually facing surfaces with edge-free curved ribs which run predominantly transversely to the direction of displacement and between which flat grooves are formed.
- the mixing effect can be increased by the fact that the grooves and, accordingly, the ribs have a changing cross-section and / or changing direction, so that a force effect occurs with changing directional components during the flexing process.
- the flexing device can be easily adapted to different mixing quantities, the flexing plates expediently arranged to be exchangeable and also as exchangeable plates can be formed with different profiles on the two plate surfaces.
- the fulling plates can also have height-adjustable full ribs to adapt to different mixing quantities.
- the corrugated sheets with their profiled surfaces can be made of a highly thermally conductive metallic material and, if desired, can be designed to be heatable or coolable.
- the back and forth movement of the flex plates can be effected by hand using conventional gears or, in the case of smaller devices, also by hand.
- the device can have a hollow cylindrical support for the tubular bag, which can be placed directly on a weighing platform, in which the tubular bag can be inserted and the open end of which can be turned over a free opening edge of the support.
- the carrier can have a narrowed opening in the region of its settling end for pulling one end of the tubular bag in such a way that the tubular bag end can be gripped for pulling the bag during the filling process.
- a tube body which subsequently also serves as a storage vessel for the finished pasty mixture can advantageously be used, which, with its screw-closure end forming the narrowed opening, can be screwed into a threaded passage opening in a footplate, which is provided on the attachment side with an edge flange which has at least one opening for lateral exit of the bag end can have.
- the bag can be provided with an excess hose section as a pulling part at its closed end.
- the bag is removed from the carrier, its open end is gathered, air in the bag is spread over the gathered end of the bag and then the bag is simply formed by forming a knot for the subsequent one Fulling process tightly closed.
- the disperse mass formed can be introduced quickly and without residue into a tube body after the milling process, for which purpose the base plate mentioned above can in turn be used as a carrier.
- the introduction of a pasty mixture into a tube body with the bag or with subsequent removal of the bag is known from the applicant's German patent 39 27 996.
- the contents of the bag can be expressed in dispensing containers such as tubes and the bag can then be filled with a new mixture for processing.
- Fig. 1 shows a part of a leg of a stationary device frame 10, on the inside of which two rails 11 and 12 for ball-bearing wheels 13 are fastened and parallel to one another.
- the impellers two of which are shown individually, are mounted in a floating manner on several on an upper slide 14 and on a lower slide 15.
- the two carriages 14 and 15 each serve for the interchangeable reception of a fulling plate 16 or 17 and are coupled to one another in terms of drive via gear parts (not shown), for example via a simple endless chain drive, in such a way that they always perform a reciprocal reciprocating motion, such as that Show arrows 19.
- the drive can be motor or manual.
- the two walk plates 16 and 17 arranged parallel to one another delimit a walk gap 18 between them and have a corrugated surface on their sides delimiting the walk gap 18, formed by flat curved ribs 20 which are separated from one another by grooves 21 are separated and are preferably transverse to the direction of displacement of the flex plates 16 and 17.
- the walking gap 18 is the narrowest between the end faces of the ribs 20.
- the opposite direction of displacement of the two flex plates 16 and 17 is indicated by arrows 22 and 23.
- In the fulling gap 18 there is a flat, tubular, flexible plastic bag 25 filled with the components of a disperse mixture to be formed.
- the contents of the plastic bag 25 are rolled and during this, the drum is intensely tumbled, so that an intimately mixed mass is created in a short time.
- Both fulling plates 16 and 17 are designed as turning plates and are provided with different profiles on both sides.
- the inactive in FIG. 2 upper side of the fulling plate 16 and lower side of the fulling plate 17 are formed with narrower, more corrugated transverse ribs 20 'and correspondingly with grooves 21' in between than the active sides of the fulling plates.
- the aluminum walk plates or the ribs 20 ' can be provided with channels 28 for the introduction of heating cartridges or for the passage of a liquid heating or cooling medium, as shown in FIG. 2 on the walk plate 17.
- the surfaces of the flex plates can also be irregularly profiled, for example with grooves 26 changing their direction, width and depth and correspondingly varying in width Ribs 27 may be provided, whereby not only forces in the directions of movement of the flex plates, but also increasingly obliquely directed force components are exerted on the material during the flexing process. This allows the mixing process to be intensified and accelerated further.
- FIG. 3a and 3b show two fulling plates 16 'and 17', which are provided with height-adjustable fulling ribs 20 '.
- the ribs 20 ' are extended further and the plates 16' and 17 'are moved at a greater distance from one another (FIG. 3a) than in the case of a bag with only a small content (FIG. 3b).
- the height-adjustable ribs 20 'thus allow the setting of the walking gap.
- FIG. 4 shows a device 30 for facilitating the introduction of the mixture components into the tubular flexible bag 25.
- the device consists of a hollow cylindrical carrier which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, consists of a prefabricated tube body 31 with a tube head 31.1 ending in a threaded flange 33 delimiting an outlet opening 32 and an open rear tube opening 31.2 is formed.
- This hollow cylindrical support is provided with a base plate 34, which has an outer flange 34.1 projecting downwards and is used to place the device 30 on the weighing plate 35 of a dosing scale 36.
- the base plate 34 is provided with a central threaded opening into which the threaded flange 33 of the tube head 31.1 can be screwed and which is delimited on the underside of the base plate 34 by an edge-free annular bead 37 which projects into the threaded opening.
- a plurality of openings 38 are expediently formed in the annular flange 34.1 of the base plate 34, one of which is shown in section in FIG.
- the tubular bag 25 shown in FIG. 4 is more sufficient from a transparent plastic tube section Strength and flexibility produced, which is divided into two sections by a cross weld 40 forming the bag bottom and shown with a broken line.
- the bag 25 could also be made in one piece, so that its entire volume can be used for the whale process.
- the base plate 34 could then be provided with a clamping device into which the lower end of the bag is inserted so that it cannot be filled with it.
- the one section which is the upper section in FIG. 4, is used solely for holding symbolically indicated liquid and pasty mixture components 39a, 39b and is initially turned inside out over the opening edge 31.2 of the tube body 31. This inverted part is designated in Fig. 4 with 25.1.
- a suitable annular body 41 which forms a rounded inverted surface, is detachably attached to the generally sharp-edged and un-flared opening edge 31.2 to protect the tubular bag 24.
- the entire tube section is pulled upward out of the tube body 31 and the filled tubular bag is closed in a liquid-tight manner by gathering together the free end region 25.1 and knotting. Before knotting, the air contained in the tubular bag 25 and undesirable in the mixture can be easily wiped out by hand, preferably from bottom to top with the bag held vertically. The entire tube section structure is then inserted into the flexing device.
- the tubular structure is reinserted into the tube body 31 and the tubular bag 25 is either squeezed out of the tubular bag by pulling through the outlet opening 32 of the tube or left in the tube body together with the mixture after the bag bottom 40 has passed through the tube Output opening 32 has been pulled through and separated.
- the various methods that can be used here are shown and described in detail in the applicant's German patent 39 27 996.
- FIGS. 5a and 5b different devices for the pressure treatment of a partially filled and closed plastic bag 25 'or 25''are shown.
- the bag 25 'or 25'' is placed on a base plate 50 or 55.
- the base plate 50 according to FIGS. 5a and 5b can exert a vibratory movement in the plane of the plate, while cover plates 51 and 52, which are pivotably mounted on the edges of the base plate and can each capture only part of the bag 25 '(here half the bag in each case) alternately are individually pressed onto the bag 25 'while the other cover plate is lifted off the bag, as indicated by arrows 53. During this movement, the contents of the pouch in the pouch are continuously pressed from one half to the other half and vice versa, and thereby intensively mixed.
- the base plate 50 and / or the cover plates 51, 52 can be heatable or coolable.
- two pressure rollers 56 and 57 are mounted above the base plate 55 in a frame, not shown, with a larger mutual distance, which corresponds approximately to half the length or width of a bag 25 ′′ placed on it. They can be moved together at a constant distance alternately in one direction - in FIGS. 6a and 6b according to arrows 58 from right to left - and in the other direction - according to arrow 59 in FIG. 6c - via the partially filled bag 25 '' move away, subjecting the contents of the bag to an intensive mixture.
- FIG. 7a to 7e show further devices for flexing a bag 125.
- FIG. 7a shows a fulling plate 110, with the aid of which the bag 125 is rolled over a base plate 111.

- an additional bag can also be used for volume compensation in the case of an unadjustable flexing device and only a small amount of a disperse system to be produced.
- Emulsification time now only 15 seconds instead of approx. 15 minutes. Subsequent stirring (see above) is not necessary and immediate, loss-free filling can take place (insert the mixing bag with its contents into the tube in approx. 15 seconds), with slight in-process and final inspection. If wax-like constituents are contained (e.g. Cera flava), these are melted by heating the entire mixture accordingly. Afterwards, the dispersion, suspension, emulsification and homogenization are carried out in one operation according to the invention.
- the extremely high dispersion performance of the devices according to the invention also allows simultaneous, very high rapid cooling of the mixture to 25 ° C. Temperature-sensitive components of the mixture are preferably incorporated afterwards, as are those that crystallize out.
Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung disperser Systeme, insbesondere Salben, Cremes, Suspensionen, Emulsionen, Gele oder Pasten und Vorrichtungen zur Durchführung einzelner Schritte dieses Verfahrens. The invention relates to a process for the production of disperse systems, in particular ointments, creams, suspensions, emulsions, gels or pastes and devices for carrying out individual steps of this process.
Disperse systems such as ointments, creams, suspensions, emulsions, gels or pastes have so far mainly been produced by stirring the individual mixture components together. For this purpose there is a whole series of stirring devices adapted to the mixture material and / or the mixture quantity. However, the stirring method has considerable disadvantages. It is time-consuming and a noticeable proportion of the material to be stirred remains on the device walls and the stirring tools in the stirring devices. This disadvantage has a particularly strong effect in the production of small amounts of mixture, as is the case, for example, in the production of ointments according to individual formulations. There is a risk of contamination due to the direct contact of the stirring tools with the material to be stirred. The mixing process can practically not take place in the absence of air, and heating or cooling of the material to be stirred can take place only relatively slowly because of the existing unfavorable heat transfer conditions in the devices.
The invention has for its object to provide a method and devices that allow lossless manufacture of disperse systems while saving considerable time and energy.
The object is achieved according to the invention by a method with the method steps apparent from the main claim.
(*) siehe Seite 13 .In the method according to the invention, by introducing the mixture components into a flexible bag and remaining in that bag during the entire manufacturing process, a loss of mixture is completely avoided. In addition, the treatment of the mix can be carried out with complete exclusion of air. When dispensing the finished mixture from the bag, a mixture residue remaining on the bag wall can be kept extremely small, because the mixture can be almost completely squeezed out of the flexible bag. Above all, however, the formation of the disperse systems is reduced to a fraction of the processing time required there by influencing the pressure of the bag filled with the mixture constituents, since the mixture is distributed over a large area during processing and that entire mass is processed simultaneously. Compared to a stirring process which takes a few minutes, the process according to the invention only takes a few seconds, provided that no wax-like constituents to be melted are present. In addition, in contrast to the previously known processes, emulsification can now also be carried out at room temperature. (*) Solid components can also be added to the bag from the start and ground by milling and homogenized with the remaining mass. Since the system is completely sealed off from the outside, no liquid can evaporate or air can get into the bag. As a result, many of the previously required work steps, such as replacing evaporated liquid, venting, etc., are superfluous. The method is also suitable for the production of large quantities of disperse systems in process plants, which can also save considerable time and energy.

The pressure on the bag and its contents can be carried out in different ways, it being necessary to ensure that the components of the mixture can escape into the free volume of the bag when the pressure is influenced. It can be used with alternating printing direction printing plates or printing rollers, as are the subject of
The air can be removed from the bag, for example, by immersing the filled bag in a vertical position in a liquid and closing it below the surface of the liquid, or, in the case of smaller devices, simply by stripping the air from the bag, which can be done by hand. The process can advantageously be carried out with a device which has devices designed according to the invention for the individual process steps, in particular a device for flexing the bag filled with the mixture components, in which advantageously, in a rigid frame, at least one pair of interacting walk plates with a profiled surface parallel are displaceably supported with respect to one another and are provided on their mutually facing surfaces with edge-free curved ribs which run predominantly transversely to the direction of displacement and between which flat grooves are formed. Between these whale plates, the mutual spacing and groove volume of which can of course be matched to the filling volume and residual volume of the bags to be treated, there is such a large-scale and intensive flexing and thus mixing action on the contents of the bag that the mixture is completed in a short time. The mixing effect can be increased by the fact that the grooves and, accordingly, the ribs have a changing cross-section and / or changing direction, so that a force effect occurs with changing directional components during the flexing process. The flexing device can be easily adapted to different mixing quantities, the flexing plates expediently arranged to be exchangeable and also as exchangeable plates can be formed with different profiles on the two plate surfaces. However, the fulling plates can also have height-adjustable full ribs to adapt to different mixing quantities.
Advantageously, the corrugated sheets with their profiled surfaces can be made of a highly thermally conductive metallic material and, if desired, can be designed to be heatable or coolable. The back and forth movement of the flex plates can be effected by hand using conventional gears or, in the case of smaller devices, also by hand.
The method steps of filling the tubular bag with the mixture constituents and introducing the finished mixture into a storage vessel can also be considerably simplified by means of a device designed according to the invention in order to achieve the object. Thus, the device can have a hollow cylindrical support for the tubular bag, which can be placed directly on a weighing platform, in which the tubular bag can be inserted and the open end of which can be turned over a free opening edge of the support. The carrier can have a narrowed opening in the region of its settling end for pulling one end of the tubular bag in such a way that the tubular bag end can be gripped for pulling the bag during the filling process. Advantageously, a tube body which subsequently also serves as a storage vessel for the finished pasty mixture can advantageously be used, which, with its screw-closure end forming the narrowed opening, can be screwed into a threaded passage opening in a footplate, which is provided on the attachment side with an edge flange which has at least one opening for lateral exit of the bag end can have. For this purpose, the bag can be provided with an excess hose section as a pulling part at its closed end.
As soon as the specified amounts of mixture constituents have been introduced into the bag stretched in the carrier, the bag is removed from the carrier, its open end is gathered, air in the bag is spread over the gathered end of the bag and then the bag is simply formed by forming a knot for the subsequent one Fulling process tightly closed.
With the aid of the bag, the disperse mass formed can be introduced quickly and without residue into a tube body after the milling process, for which purpose the base plate mentioned above can in turn be used as a carrier. The introduction of a pasty mixture into a tube body with the bag or with subsequent removal of the bag is known from the applicant's German patent 39 27 996. When producing large quantities of disperse systems in an industrial plant, the contents of the bag can be expressed in dispensing containers such as tubes and the bag can then be filled with a new mixture for processing.
Exemplary embodiments of device parts for carrying out the method according to the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing.

Fig. 1 shows a part of a leg of a
As shown in the sectional view in FIG. 2, the two
Both fulling
Dadurch läßt sich der Mischvorgang weiter intensivieren und beschleunigen.3 in the direction of arrow III in FIG. 1 on another
Die höhenverstellbaren Rippen 20' ermöglichen somit die Einstellung des Walkspaltes.3a and 3b show two fulling plates 16 'and 17', which are provided with height-adjustable fulling ribs 20 '. To process a bag with a large content, the ribs 20 'are extended further and the plates 16' and 17 'are moved at a greater distance from one another (FIG. 3a) than in the case of a bag with only a small content (FIG. 3b). The height-adjustable ribs 20 'thus allow the setting of the walking gap.
The
After introducing the desired amount of mixture constituents checked on the
Die Grundplatte 50 und/oder die Deckplatten 51, 52 können beheizbar oder kühlbar ausgebildet sein.5 and 6 different devices for the pressure treatment of a partially filled and closed plastic bag 25 'or 25''are shown. In both devices, the bag 25 'or 25''is placed on a
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6a to 6c, two
Die Richtung des Transportbandes 131 kann dabei umkehrbar sein.7a to 7e show further devices for flexing a
If the contents of the bag are to be warmed up or cooled down, the bag can be put in a suitably tempered one Liquid-filled bags are placed and rolled through with them using one of the walking devices shown. However, the additional bag can also be simply rolled through parallel to the bag with the mix and in the process deliver its temperature to the mix. In addition, an additional bag can also be used for volume compensation in the case of an unadjustable flexing device and only a small amount of a disperse system to be produced.

- Wasserwater
- 50 g50 g
Melt the wool wax alcohol ointment at 75 ° C-80 ° C (oil phase) and add the aqueous phase heated to the same temperature while stirring. Continue stirring until a temperature of 25 ° C is reached.
Time required for the emulsification about 15 minutes.
In addition, it is recommended that the emulsion be left to stand for a while and then stir vigorously again before filling.
Mixing the two cold phases in the bag according to the claims of the invention.
Emulsification time now only 15 seconds instead of approx. The extremely high dispersion performance of the devices according to the invention also allows simultaneous, very high rapid cooling of the mixture to 25 ° C. Temperature-sensitive components of the mixture are preferably incorporated afterwards, as are those that crystallize out.
