Da der Hebel aufgrund der konstruktiven Gegebenheiten nur über einen relativ geringen Winkelbereich geschwenkt werden kann und das Zahnradsegment dabei nur mit einem oder zwei Zähnen mit der Zahnstange in Eingriff gelangen kann, ist es wichtig, den zur Verfügung stehenden Schwenkbereich des Hebels auch voll auszunutzen. D. h., es muß sichergestellt werden, daß der Hebel bei Beginn der Steckbewegung vollständig in die Öffnungsstellung geschwenkt ist. Ist dies nicht der Fall, und kommt beispielsweise der Hebel mit dem Zahnradsegment bei einer undefinierten Zwischenstellung mit der Zahnstange in Eingriff, so reicht der verbleibende Schwenkbereich nicht mehr aus, um das Innengehäuse vollständig in das Außengehäuse zu stecken, so daß die Kontakte nicht oder nur unvollständig geschlossen werden. Weiterhin besteht die Gefahr, daß aus Unachtsamkeit die Gehäuseteile ineinandergesteckt werden, während der Hebel mit dem Zahnradsegment sich bereits in Schließstellung befindet. Dadurch ist es möglich, daß der Hebel 15 mit dem Zahnradsegment 18, das in diesem Fall auch noch ansatzweise einen dritten Zahn 18a aufweist, auch bei einer Stellung in die Zahnstange 21 eingefädelt werden kann, die nicht der Öffnungsstellung entspricht, sondern beispielsweise eine Mittelstellung zwischen Öffnungs- und Schließstellung bildet. Der Zahn 19 kann dabei zwischen die Zähne 22a und 23 in Eingriff gelangen, während der Zahn 20 mit dem Beginn der Zahnstange nur eine geringe Durchdringung erfährt und bei relativ geringem Kraftaufwand auf den Hebel 15 sich leicht deformiert. Damit erreicht der Hebel 15 die in Figur 6 dargestellte Schließstellung, während das Zahnradsegment 18 mit seinen beiden Zähnen 19 und 20 nur mit dem Anfangsteil der Zahnstange 21 in Eingriff ist, so daß in der hier erreichten Endstellung die Kontaktstifte 9 nicht mit den entsprechenden Buchsen des Innengehäuses 2 kontaktieren. Bei einer Stellung des Hebels 15 in Schließstellung gemäß Figur 2 oder in einer schrägen Zwischenstellung können die Zähne 19 und 20 nicht in den Steckkanal 8 eingeführt werden. Das Innengehäuse 2 läßt sich nur in das Außengehäuse 1 einführen, wenn die Kulisse 25 in die Kulissenführung 26 eintaucht. Das ist nur bei der Öffnungsstellung gemäß Figur 4 möglich. Erst nach einer vorgegebenen Einstecktiefe erweitert sich die Kulissenführung 26 im Bereich 26a, wodurch eine Drehung des Zahnradsegmentes 18 und ein Eingriff der Zähne 19 und 20 an der Zahnflanke 22 und an dem Zahn 23 der Zahnstange 21 möglich werden. Dadurch wird das Innengehäuse vollständig unter Kontaktierung der Kontaktstifte 9 in das Außengehäuse 1 hineingezogen.
