Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method in a cylinder dryer of a paper machine, in which the paper web is guided on the upper cylinders using an upper sieve and on the lower cylinders using a lower sieve, the sieves being guided by the drying cylinders and guide rollers arranged in between, such that that the web on the top cylinder row from the top wire in direct drying contact with the surface of the top cylinder and, accordingly, from the bottom wire is pressed against the surface of the bottom cylinder and the web is guided from one row of cylinders to another over a certain distance as a free train, air being blown in. The invention further relates to a device for performing the method, which is provided for a cylinder dryer of a paper machine with a two-wire guide, which has an air blowing device.
Methods and devices for a paper machine cylinder dryer with two-wire guide are known, in which air is blown in. This takes place in the known methods or devices in the area between the drying cylinders, i.e. in the area of the dryer fabric. In many cases an attempt is made to create a negative pressure by means of an injector effect in the gussets of the screen with the guide roller in order to prevent the web from lifting off the dryer fabric. By blowing air into this area, however, there is still a great risk of the paper web being blown off the dryer fabric. Furthermore, especially at higher machine speeds, i.e. higher speeds of the paper web, sufficient drying can no longer be achieved, since in the so-called pockets, i.e. only warm, humid air is contained in the spaces formed by the drying wire and the paper web between the guide roller and the opposite drying cylinder.
The invention is now intended to avoid the disadvantages of the known methods and devices, and to ensure adequate drying, especially at high machine speeds, without increasing the risk of the paper web blowing off the dryer fabric.
The invention is therefore characterized in that the air, in particular heated fresh air, is blown directly into the pockets formed by the dryer fabric and the paper web. This increases the drying capacity of the machine, which means that higher machine speeds or speeds of the paper web can also be achieved.
One embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the air is blown in in a targeted direction, and the air can be blown in at least in two different directions. By means of the targeted air injection, an advantageous flow along the drying cylinder or the paper web can be achieved in the pockets, the drying being further improved by the convection.
A further development of the invention is characterized in that the air is pre-distributed into the pockets before being blown in, in order to achieve a uniform air supply. A corresponding uniform drying of the paper web is also ensured by this pre-distribution and the uniform air supply, which takes place in particular transversely to the web running direction.
A particularly advantageous development of the invention is characterized in that an air quantity of 100-500 m3 per hour and meter of working width, preferably of 200-300 m3 per hour and meter of working width, is blown in. The blowing in of these air quantities results in a particularly good drying of the paper web.
A further embodiment of the invention is characterized in that air is additionally sucked out through the drying wire, the suction from the incoming gusset, that is to say the area between the drying wire with the paper web running from the drying cylinder and the free circumference of the guide roller, and can be expedient the amount of air extracted corresponds at least essentially to the amount of air blown in. By sucking the air through the dryer fabric, a uniform suction across the web running direction can be achieved, so that unfavorable cross currents of the air can be prevented. This is especially true if the amount of air extracted corresponds at least essentially to the amount of air blown in.
A further embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the speed of the air jets blown in is in the range from 10 m / s to 50 m / s, expediently between 20 m / s and 40 m / s. This speed of the air jets advantageously allows a flow to be achieved in the region of the pockets, which does not impair the guidance of the paper web.
A favorable development of the invention is characterized in that the speed of the paper web is in the range of 600-1500 m / min, preferably between 1000-1400 m / min. With such a machine speed or speed of the paper web, optimal drying is achieved, i.e. there is neither insufficient drying nor overdrying of the paper.
The device according to the invention, which is provided for a cylinder dryer of a paper machine with a two-wire guide and which has an air blowing device, is characterized in that the air blowing device, in particular an air blowing pipe, is provided in the pocket formed by the drying wire and the paper web. This construction of the device allows the air to be introduced particularly cheaply and directly to the places in the paper dryer where it is most effective for drying.
A favorable further development of the invention is characterized in that the air-blowing device, in particular arranged in rows, has holes or slots for the air outlet, whereby with several rows of holes or slots these can be directed in different directions. Such a configuration of the air-blowing device allows the air to be introduced into the pockets particularly favorably and the air flow in the pocket to be influenced accordingly for optimum drying.
A favorable embodiment of the invention is characterized in that a device for pre-distributing the air for uniform, expediently vertical blowing is provided in the air blowing device. The flow in the pockets can be influenced particularly favorably by this pre-distributing device, flows in the direction transverse to the web running direction being avoided. In order to compensate for a corresponding pressure drop in the air blowing device, this can also be done by the Feeding sides are designed to be conical, whereby feeding from both sides is also possible.
A particularly favorable embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the air injection device is designed as a scraper bar, wherein the scraper can act as an air guide device. This combination of the air injection device with the scraper ensures particularly favorable attachment, and an additional technological advantage is also achieved by the action of the scraper as an air guiding device.
A favorable further development of the invention is characterized in that a suction box is additionally provided in the spaces remaining between the adjacent drying cylinders, which are delimited by the drying screens running over the adjacent drying cylinders and the free sectors of the guide roller leading the relevant drying screen. The arrangement of an additional suction box allows the air blown into the pockets to be sucked off particularly cheaply, and the suction boxes can also be mounted particularly inexpensively. This local attachment of the suction box also ensures that damage to the paper web by the suction box is ruled out, since only the dryer wire is guided along the top of the suction box.
A favorable embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the suction box on the inlet side and / or on the outlet side to the screen on the drying cylinder has seals, for example brushes, which run transversely to the direction of web travel and essentially over the entire width of the paper web or Drying sieve is enough. These seals can be used to ensure that no additional air gets into the gusset between the dryer fabric and the guide roller, thereby avoiding excess pressure which could cause the web to lift off the dryer fabric. On the other hand, it is achieved that only air is sucked into the suction box from the pockets and not from the other surroundings.
A further embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the suction box has cover plates on its end faces, which cover the space from the suction box to the screen with the paper web lying thereon or to the free one Seal the dryer fabric or the circumference of the guide roller that is not touched by the screen. These additional seals support the longitudinal flow of the air in the pockets or towards the suction box and prevent the air from flowing in from the side, which in turn makes the extraction from the pockets particularly effective.
A particularly advantageous development of the invention is characterized in that the axis of the guide roller is displaced from the center plane of two drying cylinders lying next to one another in the direction of the first drying cylinder in the web running direction. With this configuration, especially at high machine speeds, i.e. high speeds of the paper web, a particularly good contact of the paper web with the dryer fabric is achieved when draining from the drying cylinder. In this area there is therefore only a very short free pull of the paper web to the subsequent drying cylinder.
In the following, the invention will now be explained by way of example with reference to the drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a cylinder dryer in which the invention is used, Fig. 2 shows a variant of the invention, Fig. 3 shows a further variant of the invention, Fig. 4 shows a 3 and FIG. 5 shows a section along the line VV in FIG. 2.
The cylinder dryer of a paper machine shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of a series of
Fig. 2 shows a larger section for the first variant of the air injection device. The
Fig. 3 shows the analog situation with another embodiment of the air injection tube. In addition, 22 flow arrows are entered here for better understanding in the area of the pocket. Instead of the
39 in die Tasche 22 ausgeblasen.FIG. 4 shows an enlarged section of the
This section line was chosen in order in particular to be able to represent the blow-out or suction openings. Air is supplied to the
The invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments, but the air injection device can also take other forms, e.g. have a triangular shape adapted to the gusset. For example, in order to optimize the flow in the pocket, additional blow-out openings can be provided in the air blowing device in further directions.
