Abstract

The tool comprises a base plate (3) having openings (5), from the lower face (24) of which are fixed punches (4,4a). The openings are located along two orthogonal axes, one of which is inclined relative to one of the tool base plate edges at an angle between fifteen and twenty degrees. Le choix de la densité du caoutchouc mousse est fonction des caractéristiques du carton ondulé travaillé. Dans l'exemple illustré ici, les poinçons 4 sont disposés sur la plaque de base 3 de telle façon que chacune des quatre faces 11 du carré de leur section soit tangente aux ouvertures 5. Ainsi, de par cette disposition des différents poinçons 4 sur la plaque de base 3, la pression totale de ceux-ci au voisinage des barres de séparation longitudinales et transversales 9, 9a de l'outil inférieur 10 sera régulière quelque soit la position des barres de séparation 9, 9a. Dans l'exécution représentée sur la figure 1, certains des poinçons 4 se trouvant en regard des barres de séparation 9, 9a de l'outil inférieur 10 seront passablement déformés ce qui peut perturber le bon fonctionnement de l'outil supérieur 1. Claims (5)

  1. Movable upper tool for the separation of blanks from a sheet being processed by a packaging-manufacturing press, specifically a press for manufacturing packages from corrugated cardboard, the tool comprising a base plate (3) having openings (5) and with punches (4, 4a) of resilient material secured to its lower surface (24), the said tool cooperating with a lower tool (10) for separating the blanks (2), characterized by the fact that the punches (5) are disposed with a predetermined space along orthogonal axes parallel to the two orthogonal reference axes (6, 7), one orthogonal reference axis (6, 7) being a straight line inclined relative to one edge of the base plate (3) of the movable upper tool (1) so that these punches (4, 4a) exert an uniform pressure, on the blank (2) to be separated near a separating bar (9, 9a) of the lower tool (10) for separating blanks (2), irrespective of the position occupied by the separating bars (9, 9a) of the lower tool (10), and by the fact that at least one side (11) of the punches (4, 4a) is at a tangent to one opening (5).
  2. Movable upper tool according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that it is divided into two areas (12, 13) comprising openings (5) disposed along two orthogonal axes (6, 7), one orthogonal axis (6, 7) being a straight line inclined relative to one edge of the base place (3) of the movable upper tool (1), at least one side (11) of the cross-section of the punches (4) being at a tangent to one opening (5), and by the fact that the two areas (12, 13) are separated by an area comprising punches (4a) disposed tangentially and diagonally relative to openings (14) aligned along the central axis of the movable upper tool (1).
  3. Movable upper tool according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the slope of the line constituting the orthogonal axis (6) is at an angle (8) between 15 and 20° to one edge of the base plate (3) of the movable upper tool (1).
  4. Movable upper tool according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the punches (4, 4a) are cuboidal.
