Definitions
- the present invention relates to a tool mobile upper for the separation of the poses of a sheet worked by a manufacturing press packaging, in particular by a manufacturing press corrugated cardboard packaging.
- the cardboard sheets wavy are introduced, from the margin station, in the clamps of a transport device consisting by mounted clamp bars, by their ends, on two trains of chains arranged, in look at each other, in each of the side frames of the machine.
- Corrugated sheets, held in the clamps of the clamp bars will then be transported sequentially to across each of the stations mentioned above. So, at a first stop, the leaves will cut by the cutting station to constitute poses or cutouts linked together by attachment points then, at a second stop, the waste located between or in the poses will be eliminated from the sheet and in a third stop, the poses will be separated from each other and stacked in the separation and reception station.
- the corrugated sheet having been cleared of its waste in the ejection station will then be brought to the separation station and receiving poses where they will be separated each other using the same movement as the one used in the waste ejection station.
- the upper tool consists by a set of punches, and the lower tool by an open die, the upper punches mobiles forcing the poses through the openings of the lower matrix by causing the rupture of different attachment points that linked each of the pose between them.
- Separation tools must therefore be adapted to the shape and layout of poses of each new set of sheets to to work.
- the punches are mounted, marking in relation to the cutting lines of the press, on a base plate attached to a frame mobile upper station tool holder separation of poses.
- Below and next to each punch has an opening or mesh corresponding to the lower matrix consisting of bars. The bars are arranged so as to be overlap to form a grid or matrix whose meshes have approximately the dimensions of the poses to separate.
- each punch is presenting in the form of a cleat connected to its neighbor by means of interlocking one with the other.
- the fixed lower matrix is composed of bars movable crosses to form a grid whose meshes are of adjustable dimensions.
- the mobile upper tools are constructed so to allow, through them, the passage of air from the vertical displacement of the tool, by example by making in the plate which constitutes them many openings.
- the object of the present invention is to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks inherent in the plant separation tools existing.
- Figure 1 is a plan view of a first version of a upper blanking tool 1 or cutouts 2 of boxes, shown in phantom in this figure.
- the upper tool 1 is made up by a base plate 3, generally made of wood or synthetic material and by 4 shape punches parallelepiped glued against the underside of the base plate 3.
- This base plate includes openings 5 of circular shape, in the present execution. These openings 5 pass through the plate of base 3 right through and aim to leave pass air from vertical displacement of the upper tool 1.
- These openings could be of any geometric shape and present, for example in the form of openings square. The choice of circular shape was dictated by considerations of ease of machining.
- the openings 5 are arranged on the plate base 3 along two orthogonal axes 6 and 7, axis 6 being constituted by an inclined line making a angle 8 between fifteen and twenty degrees by relative to one of the edges of the base plate 3.
- the edge chosen being the edge located at the top of the figure and can be likened to the front edge of the base plate 3.
- the exact value of this angle 8 is determined by the size of the openings 5 and by the dimension of the punches 4 as well as by the pitch between the punches 4 so that a regular pressure punches is obtained, on laying or cutting 2 to separate, near the dividing bars longitudinal and transverse 9, 9a of the tool lower 10 (see Figure 3).
- Hallmarks 4 have a square section and are preferably made of foam rubber with a density included between thirty and one hundred kilograms per cubic meter. In the present example, the chosen density, during tests practical, is eighty kilograms per meter cube. The choice of foam rubber density is according to the characteristics of the corrugated board work.
- the punches 4 are arranged on the base plate 3 in such a way that each of the four faces 11 of the square of their section be tangent to the openings 5. Thus, by this arrangement of the various punches 4 on the base plate 3, the total pressure of these at in the vicinity of the longitudinal dividing bars and transverse 9, 9a of the lower tool 10 will regular whatever the position of the bars of separation 9, 9a.
- Figure 2 is a plan view of a second version of a top tool 1 with a configuration of the punches 4 similar to that shown in Figure 1.
- the longitudinal dividing bar 9 located in the axis of the upper tool 1 always occupies a same position, we can avoid having to cut the punches 4 located in the vicinity of this bar longitudinal separation 9.
- Figure 3 is a plan view of a tool lower 10 of separation of poses 2. Four poses 2 are shown in this figure. These 2 poses are linked together by attachment points 19.
- the lower tool 10 consists of a frame comprising two transverse beams 15 and 16 and two longitudinal crosspieces 17 and 18.
- the bars of longitudinal dividers 9 are placed between the transverse beams 15 and 16 to which they are fixed by means of stirrups 20 arranged so that they can be moved and locked in position along the transverse beams 15 and 16.
- the transverse dividing bars 9a are they mounted between the longitudinal crosspieces 17 and 18 to which they are attached via stirrups 21, similar to stirrups 20, arranged so that they can be moved and locked in position along the longitudinal crosspieces 17 and 18.
- the tool upper 1, placed above the lower tool 10, will push, during its descent, the different poses 2 through the meshes formed by the bars of longitudinal 9 and transverse 9a separation.
- the attachment points 19 will then be broken and poses 2 will therefore be separated from each other.
- Figure 4 is a sectional view of a series of punches 4 in phase of separation of a pose 2.
- the tool 1 of figure 1 which is represented.
- the punches 4 are deformed under the effect of the pressure caused by the downward movement of the upper tool 1.
- the punches 4 being produced in a deformable material, we note that even if these meet a solid object, such as a bar 9, the separation will take place at satisfaction.
- the non-separated sheet 21, shown in dashed lines, has a front part called gripper socket 22, clamped by the grippers 23, intended to allow the transport of this unseparated sheet 21 to the separation and reception station poses 2. This gripper socket 22 will of course be subsequently removed on the next advance of the machine.
- Figure 5 is a sectional view along V - V of Figure 2 showing how each of the punches 4a, respectively 4, are fixed against the underside 24 of the base plate 3 of the tool higher 1.
- this fixation of punches 4, 4a is made by gluing. But he would be imaginable to use another method of attachment permanent.
- the punches 4, 4a are of prismatic shape with square section but we might very well choose a different section such as a polygonal or circular section, this based on practical results obtained by production tests.
- the advantage of using a superior tool 1, such as that proposed by the present invention is that with just one tool it is possible to separate poses of dimensions different without the need to long and tedious adjustments like this was the case with conventional separation tools used to date. By this, the setting time road to a new job is found considerably reduced and the production capacity of the packaging manufacturing machine is increased by the same amount.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a tool mobile upper for the separation of the poses of a sheet worked by a manufacturing press packaging, in particular by a manufacturing press corrugated cardboard packaging.
- A margin station,
- A cutting station,
- A waste ejection station and,
- A station for separation and reception of poses.
In such a machine, the cardboard sheets wavy are introduced, from the margin station, in the clamps of a transport device consisting by mounted clamp bars, by their ends, on two trains of chains arranged, in look at each other, in each of the side frames of the machine. Corrugated sheets, held in the clamps of the clamp bars, will then be transported sequentially to across each of the stations mentioned above. So, at a first stop, the leaves will cut by the cutting station to constitute poses or cutouts linked together by attachment points then, at a second stop, the waste located between or in the poses will be eliminated from the sheet and in a third stop, the poses will be separated from each other and stacked in the separation and reception station.
The corrugated sheet having been cleared of its waste in the ejection station will then be brought to the separation station and receiving poses where they will be separated each other using the same movement as the one used in the waste ejection station.
It is known to use, in a station separation of the poses, a mobile upper tool and a fixed lower tool. The upper tool consists by a set of punches, and the lower tool by an open die, the upper punches mobiles forcing the poses through the openings of the lower matrix by causing the rupture of different attachment points that linked each of the pose between them. Separation tools must therefore be adapted to the shape and layout of poses of each new set of sheets to to work. In general, the punches are mounted, marking in relation to the cutting lines of the press, on a base plate attached to a frame mobile upper station tool holder separation of poses. Below and next to each punch has an opening or mesh corresponding to the lower matrix consisting of bars. The bars are arranged so as to be overlap to form a grid or matrix whose meshes have approximately the dimensions of the poses to separate.
To avoid the need to manufacture new plant separation tools for each new series of sheets, it was proposed, in the patent CH-A-617886, to mount the punches horizontally movable along fixed bars on a vertically movable frame, each punch is presenting in the form of a cleat connected to its neighbor by means of interlocking one with the other. The fixed lower matrix is composed of bars movable crosses to form a grid whose meshes are of adjustable dimensions.
Cette solution est décrite en détail dans le brevet CH-681874.Another way to make the upper tool mobile is to use a plate provided with through bushings in which engage self-locking pins used to fix punches intended to push the poses to be separated through corresponding openings of a lower tool. This solution is described in detail in the patent CH-681874.
Another way to make the upper tool mobile is to use a plate, pierced with a large number of openings, on the underside of which are mounted rigid punches of separation of the poses, these punches being fixed to the plate by self-adhesive strips like this appears from the description of patent CH-682651. Other punches may be of resilient material.
As mentioned in the patents that we have just mentioned, it is necessary that the mobile upper tools are constructed so to allow, through them, the passage of air from the vertical displacement of the tool, by example by making in the plate which constitutes them many openings.
This procedure requires obviously building a new tool specific to each configuration of the poses on the sheet and regardless of price and time spent when making this new tool, you will need to plan a large storage area for the different tools used because the work carried out on the machine are often repetitive making reuse of tools already manufactured.
The tools of separation of the poses which we have just described therefore all have the disadvantage of requiring preparation relatively long depending on each different job to be done by the machine. These operations decrease the efficiency of the machine when is necessary to deal with many different jobs in the same working day by increasing the downtime during which the machine is not operational. The problem is therefore to increase the effective production of the manufacturing machine packaging.
The object of the present invention is to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks inherent in the plant separation tools existing.
This goal is achieved by means of a superior separation tool poses in accordance with claim 1.
- FIG. 1 is a plan view of a first version of an upper tool,
- FIG. 2 is a plan view of a second version of an upper tool,
- FIG. 3 is a plan view of a lower blanking tool,
- FIG. 4 is a sectional view of a punch in the phase of separation of a pose and,
- FIG. 5 is a sectional view along V - V of FIG. 2.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a first version of a
upper blanking tool 1
or
figure 1, certains des poinçons 4 se trouvant en
l'outil inférieur 10.The
transversale 9a centrale.Figure 2 is a plan view of a second
version of a top tool 1 with a
configuration of the
Quatre poses 2
sont représentées sur cette figure. Ces poses 2 sont
reliées entre elles par des points d'attache 19.Figure 3 is a plan view of a tool

L'outil
The
machine.Figure 4 is a sectional view of a series of

Figure 5 is a sectional view along V - V of

As is clear from this description, the advantage of using a superior tool 1, such as that proposed by the present invention, is that with just one tool it is possible to separate poses of dimensions different without the need to long and tedious adjustments like this was the case with conventional separation tools used to date. By this, the setting time road to a new job is found considerably reduced and the production capacity of the packaging manufacturing machine is increased by the same amount.
