Die Arbeitsbehälter solcher Vorrichtungen, die die Werkstücke aufnehmen, sind während der Bearbeitungsphase fest verschlossen. Solche Behälter sind in erster Linie gedacht, für Vorrichtungen benutzt zu werden, die den Behältern eine Planetendrehbewegung übertragen können, wobei im allgemeinen zwei oder mehrere achsparallel angeordnete Behälter auf einem sich drehenden Teller angeordnet sind, der den Behältern eine um ihre Achse rotierende Bewegung erteilt.
