Description
The invention relates to a connection module for transmission of electrical energy and / or information signals between a patient support surface of an operating table and a support device which can be detachably connected to the bearing surface, comprising a module part on the support device side and a module part on the storage area side.
Als Beispiel wird das Dokument US-A-5 279 011 genannt. The document US-A-5 279 011 is mentioned as an example.
The patient support surface of an operating table consists of different sections that are adjustable relative to each other are. The adjustment is made with the help of motors that are in the spars of the bearing surface can be arranged. The Patient support area is from the support of the Operating table can be lifted and can, for example, on one Transport trolleys are placed. Even in this situation it should be possible to close the sections of the storage area adjust. Thus, for example, a patient prepared for the operation outside the operating room and in a position required for the operation to be brought. For the adjustment of the sections of the bearing plate is the supply of energy to the actuators of the Storage space and the exchange of information signals between control electronics within the storage area and of the support device required. It should be the opportunity exist, the bearing surface, for example, in two by 180 ° against each other offset positions relative to the support device to arrange on this. Basically, such Connection can be made using cables and connectors. Plug connections and cables are cumbersome to use and difficult to clean.
The invention has for its object a connection module of the type mentioned at the beginning of the manufacture a connection for the transmission of electrical energy and / or information signals on simple and convenient Way also for different positions of the patient support surface allows relative to the support device.
This object is achieved by the characterizing Part of claim 1 specified features solved.
By combining the transmission elements according to the invention can the patient support surface at least in two different Positions, for example in two against each other by 180 ° offset positions connected to the support device and at the same time a connection for energy and signal transmission with stationary transmission elements getting produced. For example, the transmission elements for the transmission of electrical energy from Metallic contact elements are formed when putting on the patient support surface with each other on the support device contact. Furthermore, the transmission elements for the information signals for a non-contact Transfer can be formed by, for example, the Information signals in the form of electromagnetic radiation transfer. For example, in one module part Infrared transmitter and corresponding infrared receiver in the other module part be arranged. However, optocouplers can also be used used in the visible region of the spectrum work. Such transmission elements for transmission of information signals can be behind one for each Radiation transparent material can be arranged offers a completely smooth surface and easy to clean is. The metallic contact elements can also be made of this material for the transmission of electrical drive energy for the servomotors embedded within the patient support area be. It may be appropriate to use the contact elements in one module part to make it movable and in Direction towards the fixed in the other module part Preload contact elements so that a safe Contact is guaranteed when the two module parts meet is.
The first group is preferably transmission elements arranged in the patient support area while the second and third group of transmission elements in the support device is provided. This can both from the support column an operating table as well as a transport trolley for the patient support surface should be formed.

The connection module, generally designated 40, includes one

desselben in gleichförmigen Abständen drei metallische
In the column-
70 befestigt, welche in zwei Reihen je vier Infrarotsende-/Empfangselemente
72 trägt. Diese Sende/Empfangselemente
(Infrarotdioden) greifen in Ausnehmungen 74
beiden rechten Kontaktelemente 60 andererseits jeweils zwei

Kontaktelementen 60 zwei bewegliche Kontaktelemente 88 gelagert.
verbunden. The module part 44 on the bearing surface is in principle the same
constructed as the column-
heraustreten. There are also four in the bearing surface-side module part 44
