Description
The invention is based on a method for operating a rear window wiper of a motor vehicle and one Device for performing the method according to the type of independent claims. From the instruction manual Volvo 850, page 1:11 is the control of one Rear window wiper system described what after engaging a steering column switch as a control element of the wiper system Windscreen wiper and washer switched on together become. When the steering column switch is released provided that the rear wiper two or three Wiping cycles continue. This is a relatively long wake unnecessary, especially for brief wiping operations long and leads to a reinforced one on a dry disc Wear of the squeegee.
It is also known in a rear window wiper system with a steering column switch, for example, the specifications of a Continuous wiping, wiping and one To enable interval wiping. For cost reasons the two functions interval wiping and rear washing as well the wash water pump on a common switch contact of the Steering column switch placed. The wash water pump is accordingly also when switching the interval mode on and off activated briefly. Depending on the in Water hose existing water as well as from the The wash water pump promotes activation time Wash water on the rear window. Located at Switch off the interval operation of the wiper arm in the return to a parking location, so the wash water next to the Wiper arm conveyed to the rear window. After reaching the wiper arm stops in the park position because of the Intermittent wiping has been switched off. The funded Wash water now runs on the just before dry wiped rear window.
The invention has for its object a method for Operating a rear window wiper of a motor vehicle and an apparatus for performing the method specify that avoid the disadvantages mentioned.
The task is defined in the independent claims specified characteristics solved in each case.
The inventive method for operating a Rear window wiper of a motor vehicle has the advantage on that with simple means a sufficient dry wipe the Rear window despite multiple occupancy of one Control element, at the same time wiping and Washing functions are triggered, is possible. According to the invention it is provided that after switching off the Rear window wiper by reaching the parking position of the Wiper arms is detected by means of a parking signal and that thus another wiping cycle, starting from a parking position of the wiper arm until it is reached again a parking situation is triggered.
With These measures make it possible to continue the wiping cycle regardless of whether triggered during the shutdown the wiper arm is currently in the pack position or on the way there located.
The inventive device for performing the The method has the advantage that some already Existing funds can be used to build new ones Realizing functions. One is planned signal processing arrangement, one by one Parking position sensor emitted parking signal and that of the switching signal emitted are fed.
The signal processing arrangement contains storage means for Storage of a shutdown signal and an AND link, the the stored shutdown signal and the Parking signal are supplied. Is in the AND link found that a stored shutdown signal is present is, and that the parking signal occurred at the same time then the signal processing arrangement generates a Switch-on signal for the rear window wiper drive for another wipe cycle.
A particularly advantageous measure provides that the signal processing arrangement in the Rear window wiper drive is integrated. Additional Are lines to the existing lines avoidable with this measure.
A conventional contact disk is used as a parking position sensor suitable, which is particularly inexpensive in mass production is producible and has proven its reliability.
Further advantageous developments and refinements both the inventive method and the Device according to the invention for performing the Procedures arise in each case from the further dependent claims and from the following description.

die Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens
erforderlichen Teile.

The recognition of the is essential for the
