Claims (7)

  1. Safety device for the operation of two-leaved swing doors, particularly of the type which equips public telephone booths, characterized in that it comprises two winding members (5, 6) which, made angularly integral with the two leaves (1, 2), each comprise two superposed drums (5a, 5b and 6a, 6b respectively) designed with different diameters and which are connected to one another by means of funicular elements (7, 8) which are wound in opposite reeling directions onto the said drums, themselves vertically reversed on the said members, and over the length of which are interposed means (7a, 8a) elastically deformable under tensile and compressive stress.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that each funicular element (7, 8) comprises two cable portions connected to one another by means of a helical spring (7a, 8a) having non-contiguous turns.
  3. Device according to either one of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that at least one of the winding members (5, 6) is assigned a damper (9) capable of braking the rotation of the said member and the closing movement of the leaves (1, 2) of the swing door.
  4. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least one of the two leaves (1, 2) is assigned a stop system (5c, 10) capable of limiting the amount of angular displacement of the winding members (5, 6) and of the leaves (1, 2) in the direction corresponding to the opening of the said leaves.
  5. Device according to Claims 3 and 4, considered in combination, characterized in that the movable rod (9a) of the damper (9) is coupled to a crank pin (5c, 6c) radially integral with the corresponding member (5, 6), the said crank pin being arranged so as to cooperate with a fixed stop (10).
  6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each funicular element (7, 8) incorporates a tensioner (7b, 8b) for adjusting the tension of the elastic means (7a, 8a) assigned to the said elements.
  7. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each winding member (5, 6) is keyed on a vertical shaft or pivot (4) connected to the corresponding winding member (5, 6) by means of a radial hinge (3) fastened to one of the upper edges of the leaves (1, 2).
