Claims (14)

  1. Hinge device having a pivot axis (6), a hinge portion (8) which is on the side where the frame or casement is arranged and which can be secured to the frame, casement (1) or the like of a door, a strip-receiving element (7) which can be secured to a leaf (2) of the door, and a hinge strip (12) which on the one hand is supported so that it is pivotable about the pivot axis (6) and on the other hand can be fixed in the strip-receiving element (7), characterised in that the hinge strip (12) is connected at a vertical end portion (27) to an adjusting spindle (31) which sits, so that it is adjustable in the vertical direction and so that it is rotatable, in a thread (32) arranged fixedly on the strip-receiving element (7) and which is rotatable and therefore adjustable in the vertical direction by means of an up/down adjusting screw (34).
  2. Hinge device according to Claim 1, wherein the adjusting spindle (31) has a toothed ring (33) with which the up/down adjusting screw (34) is in engagement over the entire vertical adjusting travel of the adjusting spindle (31).
  3. Hinge device according to Claim 1 or 2, wherein a recess (28) which is provided with a widened portion (29) and into which a connecting portion (30) of the adjusting spindle (31) engages is formed in the vertical end portion (27) of the hinge strip (12).
  4. Hinge device according to Claim 3, wherein the connecting portion (30) of the adjusting spindle (31) engages in an interfitting manner in the recess (28), provided with the widened portion (29), in the vertical end portion (27) of the hinge strip (12).
  5. Hinge device according to Claim 1 or 2, wherein there is arranged at the vertical end portion (27) of the hinge strip (12) a nut into which a separate threaded portion of the adjusting spindle (31) engages, the thread direction of the separate threaded portion of the adjusting spindle (31) and of the nut arranged on the vertical end portion (27) of the hinge strip (12) being opposite to the thread direction of the thread (32) arranged fixedly on the strip-receiving element (7).
  6. Hinge device according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, wherein the vertical end portion (27) of the hinge strip (12), which portion is connected to the adjusting spindle (31), is arranged at the upper end of the hinge strip (12).
  7. Hinge device according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, wherein the hinge strip (12) is, at its end portion (17) remote from the pivot axis, secured to be tiltable in the strip-receiving element (7).
  8. Hinge device according to Claim 7, wherein the end portion (17) of the hinge strip (12), which portion is remote from the pivot axis, is arranged in a bearing slot (16) of which the width at its opening face (18) near the pivot axis corresponds to the thickness of the hinge strip (12) and which widens in the direction towards its end face (21) remote from the pivot axis.
  9. Hinge device according to Claim 8, wherein the bearing slot (16) widens linearly at its two longitudinal sides (19, 20).
  10. Hinge device according to any one of Claims 7 to 9, wherein at least two securing pins (22) are formed on the end portion (17) of the hinge strip (12), which portion is remote from the pivot axis, and engage in recesses formed in the strip-receiving element (7), or formed in the bearing slot (16), as oblong holes (23), the width of which recesses corresponds to the diameter of the securing pins (22) and the longitudinal axis of which recesses is arranged parallel to the pivot axis (6).
  11. Hinge device according to any one of Claims 7 to 10, wherein the hinge strip (12) is tiltable about a tilting site (18), formed at its end portion (17) remote from the pivot axis, by means of a tilt angle adjusting screw (25) inside the strip-receiving element (7).
  12. Hinge device according to Claim 11, wherein the tilt angle adjusting screw (25) is in engagement with a thread (24) formed in the hinge strip (12) and can be operated through an opening in the housing (14) of the strip-receiving element (7).
  13. Hinge device according to any one of Claims 7 to 12, which is a component of a hinge having at least two hinge devices (3, 4).
  14. Hinge device according to Claim 13, which is arranged as the middle hinge device (4) of a hinge having three hinge devices (3, 4, 5).
