Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for conveying a textile web in the form of long, narrow hanging loops through a treatment chamber, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- the invention is particularly concerned with the design of devices arranged on the outlet side. It is based on the object of designing the device according to the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that the supporting rods are removed from the rail and conveyed onwards without interference and without undesirable interaction with the goods take-off.
- an endless chain 2 consisting of interlinked ring links runs in a closed orbit in a vertical plane. It is guided over several equally sized chain wheels 3 - 8. Between the two chains 2, support rods 9 extend, the ends of which are connected at regular intervals a to the two chains 2.
- the distance a is e.g. 1 to 1.5 m. It is 1.5: 1 in relation to the circumference of the chain wheels 3 - 8.
- this means that the number of chain links between two support rods is 3: 1 to the number of teeth on a chain wheel 3 to 8.
- the support rods 9 are connected to the chain 2 by arms 10.
- Each arm 10 is freely rotatable on a hinge pin 11 which is attached to a link of the chain 2.
- an axle pin 12 of the support rod 9 is rotatably mounted.
- a roller 13 is seated in a rotationally fixed manner.
- the arm 10 has a pear-like shape: it widens in the direction of the support rod 9 and has an arcuate shape on the side facing away from the hinge pin 11 to the roller 13 coaxial contour, the radius of which is slightly larger than the radius of the roller 13.
- the length of the arm 10, measured between the axis of the pivot pin 11 and the axis of the support rod 9, is equal to half the effective diameter d of the chain wheels 3-8.
- Support rods 9d-9z are arranged closely next to one another on a horizontal section of the orbit adjacent to the chamber ceiling, so that the widened ends of the arms 10 abut one another. Accordingly, the center distance of adjacent supporting rods is e.g. about 10 to 15 cm.
- Another support rod 9c is in an end position in FIG. 1. There is an increased distance between the support rods 9d and 9c.
- the rollers 13 are supported on rails 14.
- the arms 10 of the support rods located on the rail 14 hang freely downwards.
- the chain 2 forms a hanging loop 15 between the hinge pins 11 of each two adjacent arms 10. On the remaining part of the orbit, i.e. on the return path, the chain 2 is between the individual sprockets in the stretched state.
- the chain wheels 5, 6 which are directly adjacent to the two ends of the rail 14 can be driven synchronously at a constant speed.
- the direction of rotation is symbolized in FIG. 1 by an arrow 16.
- a two-armed pivot lever 18 is fixedly connected to the chain wheel 4. Its function is described in detail in the publication mentioned at the beginning. Therefore suffice here the brief note that it is an essential part of the device with which uniformly long, narrow hanging loops 21 are formed from the web 20 entering from below through a slot 19. These are transported by the support rods 9 along the rail 14 through the treatment chamber. The transport takes place gradually. The length of the steps corresponds to the diameter of the circular contour at the wider end of the arm 10, which thus acts as a spacer.
- a guide device 22 for the web to be drawn off is arranged on the outlet side above the rail 14, for example a take-off roller which extends transversely to the transport direction essentially over the length of the support rods 9.
- Your run-up tangent 23 cuts the rail 14 at a distance from its end that is about two to three times as large as the distance between adjacent support rods 9 on the rail 14.
- a small threshold 24 sits on the rail 14, and at a distance from the tangent 23, which is a little larger than the diameter of a support rod 9.
- the threshold 24 is just high enough to prevent the support rods from undesirably rolling on. However, under the influence of the relatively strong force that causes the incremental feed, the threshold 24 can be overcome.
- the gap 24 limits the gapless row of support rods on the rail 14 at the outlet end.
- the foremost support rod (9c in FIG. 3) is moved over the threshold 24 and reaches an end position in which it does not touch the web or any other support rod. Between the threshold 24 and the end of the rail 14, this is slightly inclined.
- a lever 25 is attached with a hook-like downward directed, adapted to the contour of the arm 10 stop 26.
- the lever 25 is pivotable about a horizontal axis 27, which is arranged above the threshold 24. 3 it lies horizontally. It extends approximately to the end of the rail 14.
- a pawl 28, the length of which corresponds approximately to the length of the lever 25, can be pivoted about an axis 29 and, in its horizontal basic position, engages from above in the gusset between the arm 10c of the foremost support rod 9c and the arm 10d of the subsequent support rod 9d.
- the contour of the pawl is adapted to the contour of the arms 10c, 10d.
- FIG. 4 which shows the constellation at the same moment as FIG. 3, the arms 10c, 10d, 10e of the support rods 9c, 9d, 9e hang down, so that the hinge pins 11c, 11d, 11e are below the associated ones Support rods are located.
- a chain loop 15d hangs on the hinge pins 11c and 11d, and a chain loop 15e hangs on the hinge pins 11d and 11e.
- the arm 10b of the support rod 9b leading in the direction of movement of the circulating chain 2 assumes a position rotated by 180 degrees.
- the chain link to which the associated hinge pin 11b is attached is located at the zenith of its rotation around the chain wheel 6.
- the arm 10b with the support rod 9b hangs on the hinge pin 11b.
- the chain 2 forms a wide loop 15c between the hinge pin 11c and the sprocket 6.
- the sprocket 6 has rotated 180 degrees, as illustrated by the arrow 30, which is to be thought of as being firmly connected to the sprocket 6.
- the support rods on the rail 14 have been moved one step further.
- the support rod 9c has passed the threshold 24 and has rolled to the end of the rail 14. There it is prevented by the stop 26 from rolling off the rail 14.
- the chain loop 15c has become significantly shorter and narrower in comparison to FIG. 4.
- the arm 10c is pivoted by a further 45 degrees to the position according to FIG. 8.
- the arm 10c exerts a force on the support rod 9c which has a vertically upward and at the same time an increasing horizontal component.
- the lever 25 is pivoted from its horizontal basic position into a position which rises towards the end of the rail, so that the stop 26 releases the support rod 9c, ie is deactivated.
- a goods loop 21a is shown in FIG. 3 between the support rods 9c and 9d. Due to the arrangement of the threshold 24 relative to the guide device 22, the goods are withdrawn vertically upwards. At the time which corresponds to the position illustrated in FIG. 3, there is only a small remainder of the goods loop 21a. Since the goods are withdrawn at a constant speed, this rest is used up after a short period of time. The goods are then pulled out of the subsequent hanging loop 21b. If the speed at which the goods are withdrawn is precisely matched to the rate at which the support rods are gradually advanced on the rail 14, then the hanging loop 21a is used up exactly at the time when the support rod 9c passes the threshold 24 and rolls into the end position according to FIG. 5.
- the synchronization is usually disturbed in practical operation by unavoidable side effects, for example by a small change in length of the web during treatment or by the fact that the length of the hanging loops is subject to slight fluctuations. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that the hanging loop 21a has been used up before the supporting rod 9c has passed the threshold 24.
- the continuous removal of goods causes the goods to be pulled obliquely out of the subsequent loop 21b via the support rod 9d, as illustrated by a broken line 31 in FIG. 3.
- a horizontal force is exerted on the support rod 9d.
- the pawl 28 by its own weight, possibly supported by a spring or the like, not shown, prevents the support rod 9d from moving in the direction of the rod end and causing the support rod 9c to roll over the threshold 24 prematurely.
- the pawl 28 does not impede the gradual feed. It simply swings out under the effect of the feed force. After it has passed a support rod 9d, it automatically returns to its horizontal basic position, in which it secures the subsequent support rod against undesired advancement.
- the arrangement of the guiding device 22 with respect to the rail 14 corresponds to the arrangement according to FIG. 3.
- the threshold 24 sits, seen in the direction of movement, in front of the tangent 23; in comparison to FIG. 3, it is offset by one step length against the direction of movement.
- a two-armed lever 32 replaces the lever 25 and the pawl 28 of the first exemplary embodiment.
- the longer lever arm which extends in the direction of the end of the rail 14, has the same shape and the same function as the lever 25.
- the transfer of the support rod from the rail 14 to the stretched chain 2 takes place analogously to the first exemplary embodiment.
- the free end of the short lever arm is designed as a locking claw 33. It is widened downward like a hook and has an outer contour 34 in the form of a circular arc, the center of which lies on the pivot axis 27. The radius is dimensioned such that the contour 34 almost touches the edge of the arm 10d of the following support rod 9d.
- the two-armed lever 32 is held in a horizontal position by the outer contour of the arm 10c. In this position, the other lever arm with the locking claw 33 blocks the unwanted advancement of the support rods 9d, 9e, ... lined up on the rail 14.
- the locking claw 33 of the shorter lever arm is raised and thereby deactivated, so that the arm 10d is released.
- the support rod 9b moves in the following feed step to the end of the rail 14 and thereby causes the lever 32 to return to the horizontal basic position.
- the threshold 24 sits in relation to the guide device 22 and the end of the rail 14 at the same location as in FIG. 9.
- the rail 14 is clearly inclined between the threshold 24 and the rail end.
- an immovable stop 35 is attached.
- the position recorded in FIG. 10 corresponds approximately to the snapshot of FIG. 5.
- the support rod 9c with the arm 10c passes through positions corresponding to FIGS. 6 to 8.
- the support rod 9c becomes from the position which corresponds to FIG lifted the rail 14.
- the support rod 9d has meanwhile been held in place by the threshold 24. It passes the threshold when the loop-laying device arranged on the inlet side triggers a feed step.

In the vicinity of the two
The
At the other end of the
The
Er reicht etwa bis zum Ende der Schiene 14.According to FIGS. 1 and 3, a
Starting from the constellation illustrated in FIG. 3, the
At the moment illustrated by FIG. 5, the
After the
After a further rotation of the
In a further short time interval in which the
After a further rotation of the
The
In the modified exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 9, the arrangement of the guiding
A two-
