Es muß nämlich sichergestellt sein, daß sich die Abstreifstäbe bereits unterhalb der Quersiegel-Backen befinden, wenn diese die Siegelnaht erzeugen, und sie müssen sich entlang des Siegelbereiches schneller bewegen als der Kunststoff-Schlauch, um das im Bereich der späteren Siegelnaht eventuell vorhandene Verpackungsgut in das vorhergehende, eigentliche Verpackungsvolumen einzustreifen. Die Abstreifstäbe sind zu diesem Zweck an den Quersiegel-Backen mittels schwenkbar gelagerter Hebel angebunden und werden, wie die Quersiegel-Backen auch, durch eine Kurvensteuerung geführt. Die Anordnung erfordert einen erheblichen mechanischen Aufwand und ist wegen der hohen Produktivität einer solchen Quersiegel-Vorrichtung, die an hochleistungsfähigen Schlauchbeutel-Verpackungsmaschinen eingesetzt werden, einem starken Verschleiß unterworfen. Eine erfindungsgemäße Quersiegel-Vorrichtung besteht entsprechend Fig. 1 und 4 aus zwei spiegelsymmetrisch an einem geradlinigen Siegelbereich 1 angeordneten, elastischen und endlosen Antriebsbändern 2, die jeweils über zugehörige erste Spannrollen 21 geführt sind und (Fig. 4) von je einer Antriebsrolle 22 angetrieben werden. Die Einzelheiten sind fachüblich. Die Quersiegel-Backen 4 sind miteinander synchronisiert, aber unabhängig von den Antriebsbändern 2 angetrieben und legen sich nur innerhalb des Siegelbereiches 1 zeitweilig an den Kunststoff-Schlauch 3 zum Zwecke der Siegelung und Abtrennung der Schlauchbeutel-Verpackungen 32 an, in Fig. 1 schematisch durch eine gepunktete Darstellung der aus dem Bereich des Kunststoff-Schlauches 3 bereits wieder abgezogenen Quersiegel-Backen 4 angedeutet. Die Art und Weise des Antriebs der Quersiegel-Backen 4 steht nicht im Zusammenhang mit der Erfindung; ein Beispiel kann der o.g. Entsprechend der Fig. 2 ist für die Steuerung der Antriebsbänder 2 der erfindungsgemäßen Quersiegel-Vorrichtung als zentrale Regeleinheit ein Lageregler 5 eingesetzt, der den Betrieb der Antriebsbänder 2 in Abhängigkeit von einer an einem Display 51 vornehmbaren Sollwerteinstellung und von dem Istwert für die Lage der Abstreifstäbe 23 steuert, der durch einen Näherungsschalter 52 (Fig. 4) gemessen wird. Die auf diese Weise gewonnenen Eingangsgrößen werden in geeigneter Weise elektronisch verarbeitet; die davon abhängigen Ausgangsgrößen zur Regelung der Lage, Geschwindigkeit und Beschleunigung der Abstreifstäbe 23 werden - in einem Servoverstärker 53 verstärkt - einem Servomotor 61 zugeführt, der über ein Getriebe 62 (Fig. 4) die Antriebsrollen 22 antreibt. Die Fig. 3 zeigt, daß es dabei möglich ist, ein "oberes" Abstreifwegstück 10a einzustellen, das kurz unterhalb derjenigen Stellung endet, welche die Quersiegel-Backen 4 während der Erzeugung der Quersiegelnaht einnehmen. Ein "unteres" Abstreifwegstück 10b dagegen beginnt an dieser Stelle und erstreckt sich in Richtung des Richtungspfeiles 31. Claims (16)

Quersiegel-Vorrichtung für eine Schlauchbeutel-Verpackungsmaschine mit mindestens einem Paar Quersiegel-Backen, die an einen ggf. in Richtung seiner Längsachse bewegten Kunststoff-Schlauch anlegbar sind, diesen dabei quer zu seiner Längsachse durch jeweils eine Quersiegelnaht in einzelne Schlauchbeutel-Verpackungen teilend, und mit mindestens einem Paar den Quersiegel-Backen vorlaufender, symmetrisch zueinander und parallel zu der Quersiegelnaht angeordneter und gegeneinander und entlang des Siegelbereiches symmetrisch bewegter Abstreifstäbe, die innerhalb und entlang mindestens eines Teiles des Siegelbereiches, den Kunststoff-Schlauch zwischen sich einklemmend, zumindest einen für die Quersiegelnaht vorgesehenen Bereich des Kunststoff-Schlauches so überstreichen, daß das Verpackungsgut aus diesem Bereich in die zu verschließende Schlauchbeutel-Verpackung abgestreift wird,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß (a) beiderseits und symmetrisch zu dem Siegelbereich (1) je ein endloses, flexibles Antriebsband (2) vorgesehen ist, (b) die Abstreifstäbe (23) paarweise an den beiden Antriebsbändern (2) befestigt sind, (c) die Antriebsbänder (2) von einem gemeinsamen Antrieb (6) über je eine Antriebsrolle (22) synchron angetrieben werden und (d) für diesen Antrieb (6) eine Steuereinrichtung vorgesehen ist, welche die Bewegung der Abstreifstäbe (23) unabhängig von den Bewegungen des Kunststoff-Schlauches (3) und der Quersiegel-Backen (4) steuert.
