Description

  • La présente invention concerne une enveloppe destinée à l'emballage et/ou à la présentation d'un produit de consommation auquel il est souhaité adjoindre de manière indissociable un objet de tout type, ce dernier restant néanmoins indépendant du produit auquel on veut le rattacher.
  • D'une manière générale, il pourra s'agir, par exemple, de l'adjonction d'un pinceau à un bidon de peinture ou encore de pièces de rechange ou adaptables, à un appareil électroménager.
  • Ces exemples sont cités de manière qu'il soit bien entendu que le domaine d'application de l'invention n'est aucunement limité.
  • Néanmoins, sa destination préférentielle concerne l'emballage de produits alimentaires, notamment des flacons contenant des boisons alcoolisées ou non, ou cosmétiques, et qui doivent faire l'objet d'une campagne promotionnelle.
  • Pour cela il est connu d'offrir gracieusement à l'acheteur un cadeau pouvant être constitué par un objet en rapport ou non avec le produit acheté, ou encore par un sachet de denrées consommables telles que friandises, biscuits, cacahuètes salées etc...
  • Il pourra également s'agir d'une voiture miniature de collection ou encore d'un sujet en pièces détachées à assembler.
  • D'une manière globale, il s'agit de tous objets destinés à assurer la promotion d'un produit, complémentairement aux éléments d'appel d'origine du produit qui sont constitués par sa propre présentation, c'est-à-dire sa marque, ses couleurs, sa forme, sa notoriété.
  • Mais cet acte promotionnel doit bien être complémentaire et surtout ne pas se substituer ou occulter les éléments d'appel précités.
  • C'est ainsi que, lors du prélèvement de l'objet promotionnel, il ne faut pas avoir à détruire l'emballage d'origine du produit, constituant généralement un support d'informations, telles que marque, composition, mode d'emploi, etc...
  • Or, c'est précisément ce qui se rencontre le plus souvent.
  • Pour remédier à cela, il a été proposé de disposer l'objet promotionnel sur une partie du produit qui est exempte d'inscription, telle que le goulot d'une bouteille, la face arrière d'une boîte etc, puis de les envelopper d'un film plastique thermorétractable.
  • Cette technique a un triple inconvénient qui est d'abord d'offrir un aspect inesthétique du fait de la proéminence ainsi créée sur le produit, puis du fait de cette proéminence même, de déséquilibrer le produit lorsqu'il est en appui sur la face concernée et enfin de ne pas constituer un moyen inviolable de l'objet, étant donné la finesse de ce type de film.
  • Dans FR-A-2.615.490, on a proposé d'emmancher une boîte sur le col d'un récipient, laquelle boîte contient un objet tel qu'un verre, l'ensemble étant maintenu par une enveloppe en matière plastique thermorétractable entourant la boîte et une partie adjacente du contenant. Une telle boîte servant à protéger le verre constitue donc un élément rapporté et elle induit un encombrement important et altère l'aspect esthétique de l'ensemble.
  • L'art antérieur est également illustré par US-A-3,764,002 , qui illustre la solidarisation de deux objets à une plaque présentoir, par une enveloppe thermorétractable passant autour de l'ensemble, et rétractée pour obtenir un ensemble monobloc. L'enveloppe rétractée adhère étroitement aux objets et ne peut de ce fait assurer une fonction de protection contre les chocs extérieurs.
  • En fait, l'invention a pour objet de remédier à tous ces inconvénients en proposant une enveloppe permettant à la fois de ne pas dégrader l'emballage d'origine, de ne pas cacher la marque du produit ou toutes informations relatives, de valoriser l'objet promotionnel complémentairement à l'image du produit, d'offrir un ensemble esthétique et de formes harmonieuses, d'autoriser d'y porter un message de liaison entre le produit et l'objet promotionnel, de protéger ledit objet contre le vol, de demeurer d'un prix de revient économique, d'être d'ouverture facile, de permettre une impression contrôlée tenant compte des déformations par anamorphose survenant lors de la rétraction de la matière thermorétractable, grâce à des qualités choisies de celle-ci, qui est mono-orientée dans le sens transversal.
  • A l'heure actuelle, ces critères ne sont pas remplis et, à cet effet, l'invention concerne une enveloppe plus particulièrement destinée à l'emballage d'un contenant renfermant un produit de consommation, du type constitué par un manchon préformé en matière plastique thermorétractable, formant ou non un support d'informations et ayant des dimensions initiales supérieures à celles du contenant, pour ensuite l'entourer étroitement par rétraction définitive au cours d'une opération de chauffage, caractérisée en ce que le manchon préformé est semi-rigide et comporte localement une coque formant un logement semi-rigide, destiné à l'intégration dans ladite enveloppe d'un objet devant être rendu indissociable du contenant jusqu'à son achat et dont le prélèvement ultérieur ne détériore pas la présentation d'origine du contenant.
  • La coque précitée, dont le volume est supérieur à celui de l'objet, assure une fonction de protection de l'objet contre les chocs extérieurs, et ce sans constituer un élément rapporté à solidariser au contenant.
  • La présente invention concerne également les caractéristiques ci-après considérées isolément ou selon leurs combinaisons techniques possibles.
  • Selon un exemple de réalisation, la coque formant un logement est constituée par un prolongement du manchon s'étendant longitudinalement au-delà d'une partie en contact étroit avec le contenant et dont son extrémité libre est au moins partiellement fermée.
  • Selon une variante de réalisation, la coque formant un logement est constituée par une proéminence du manchon s'étendant latéralement au-delà d'une partie en contact étroit avec le contenant.
  • Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, la coque est préformée, préalablement à sa mise en place sur le contenant, par une opération de rétraction au moins partielle, sur un élément correspondant ou préforme de moulage.
  • Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, l'enveloppe comporte des moyens d'arrachement disposés dans une zone périphérique située entre la partie du manchon qui est en contact étroit avec le contenant et son prolongement formant coque, de manière à pouvoir détacher celle-ci pour prendre possession de l'objet disposé à l'intérieur, indépendamment de l'autre partie qui reste sur l'objet et sans détérioration de celle-ci.
  • Selon une variante de réalisation, l'enveloppe comporte des moyens d'arrachement permettant de la détacher intégralement du contenant sans détérioration du support d'informations du contenant.
  • Avantageusement, dans le cas d'une coque obtenue par prolongement longitudinal du manchon, ledit prolongement pourra comporter des informations complémentaires.
  • L'invention sera mieux comprise et d'autres caractéristiques de celle-ci seront mises en évidence à l'aide de la description qui suit, en référence aux dessins schématiques annexés, illustrant, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, comment l'invention peut être réalisée et dans lesquels :
    • la figure 1 est une vue de face d'un contenant constitué par un flacon habillé d'une enveloppe selon l'invention comportant une coque formant un prolongement supérieur semi-rigide et des moyens d'ouverture par arrachement agencés circonférentiellement ;
    • la figure 2 est une vue de face d'un flacon analogue à celui de la figure 1, dont l'enveloppe comporte en variante des moyens d'ouverture par arrachement agencés selon une génératrice ;
    • la figure 3 est une vue de face d'un flacon selon la figure 1 dont le support d'informations est constitué par le flacon lui-même ;
    • la figure 4 est une vue de face d'un flacon analogue celui de la figure 1, dont l'enveloppe se superpose à un premier manchon support d'informations qui est en contact direct avec l'objet ;
    • la figure 5 est une vue de face d'un flacon analogue à celui de la figure 1, dont l'enveloppe constitue également un support d'informations, et
    • la figure 6 est une vue de face d'un flacon habillé d'une enveloppe selon une variante de réalisation, présentant une coque constituée par une proéminence latérale.
  • A titre d'exemple non limitatif, le contenant 1 représenté sur les figures est une bouteille constituée classiquement d'un corps 2 et d'un col 3 fermé à son extrémité par un bouchon 4.
  • De manière connue, l'habillage du contenant ou bouteille 1 renfermant un produit de consommation peut être par exemple obtenu à partir d'un manchon 5 préformé (c'est-à-dire ayant subi une pré-rétraction sur une préforme) en matière plastique thermorétractable, ayant des dimensions supérieures à celles du contenant 2 pour ensuite l'entourer étroitement par rétraction définitive sur le contenant, au cours d'une opération de chauffage. L'épaisseur d'une telle matière plastique varie en général entre 130 et 210 microns pour obtenir une rigidité suffisante du manchon. A titre indicatif, les manchons cylindriques en matière plastique thermorétractable classiquement utilisés dans le domaine de l'emballage ont une épaisseur voisine de 40 à 60 microns.
  • La technique de pose de tels manchons est bien connue et ne sera pas décrite ici.
  • Selon un premier exemple de réalisation de l'invention et d'une manière commune à tous les modes de réalisation représentés sur les figures 1 à 5, le manchon 5 comporte un prolongement 5B s'étendant au-delà d'une partie 5A en contact étroit avec le contenant 1 de manière à constituer une coque 6 formant un logement semi-rigide au moins partiellement fermé au niveau de son extrémité libre, destiné à l'intégration dans ladite enveloppe d'un objet 7 devant être rendu indissociable du contenant 1 jusqu'à son achat et dont le prélèvement ultérieur ne détériore pas la présentation d'origine du contenant 1.
  • Selon les exemples de réalisation représentés sur les figures 1 à 4, l'enveloppe constituée par les parties 5A et 5B du manchon 5 est obtenue à partir d'une matière plastique thermorétractable et vierge de toute information, de manière à être posée sur le contenant 1 par-dessus un support d'informations préexistant sur celui-ci.
  • En l'occurrence, selon les figures 1 et 2, le support d'informations 8A préexistant sur le contenant 1 est une étiquette 8 appliquée par collage et ne sera aucunement altérée, ni par la pose du manchon 5, ni par son éventuel arrachement.
  • Selon l'exemple de la figure 1, l'enveloppe ou manchon 6 comporte des moyens d'arrachement 9 agencés circonférentiellement en étant disposés dans une zone périphérique située entre la partie 5A du manchon 5 qui est en contact étroit avec le contenant 1 et son prolongement 5B formant coque, de manière à pouvoir détacher celle-ci pour prendre possession de l'objet 7 disposé à l'intérieur, indépendamment de l'autre partie 5A et sans détérioration de celle-ci.
  • Le mode de réalisation représenté sur la figure 2 diffère exclusivement de celui de la figure 1 en ce que l'enveloppe ou manchon 5 comporte des moyens d'arrachement permettant de la détacher intégralement du contenant 1 sans détérioration du support 8 d'informations 8A du contenant.
  • En l'occurrence, il s'agit d'une piqûre rectiligne 10 agencée selon une génératrice du manchon alors que précédemment sur la figure 1 il s'agissait d'une piqûre rectiligne 9 agencée circonférentiellement. Dans l'un ou l'autre cas, il s'agira de piqûres par microperforations. Egalement, ces piqûres peuvent être associées à une languette d'arrachement (non représentée). On peut également noter que l'objet 7 à intégrer dans le prolongement 5B du manchon 5 formant la coque 6 est ici préalablement fixé sur une zone libre du contenant 1, c'est-à-dire une zone adjacente à la coque 6, et délimitant l'espace intérieur de celle-ci.
  • En l'occurrence, il s'agit du col 3 de la bouteille 1, la fixation s'effectuant par l'intermédiaire d'un patin en adhésif double face 11.
  • Bien entendu, la même fixation pourrait être effectuée sur la paroi interne du prolongement 5B du manchon 5.
  • On peut aussi noter, qu'avantageusement le prolongement 5B crée des zones libres aptes à recevoir des informations complémentaires, par exemple sous la forme d'un feuillet ou carnet indépendant 12.
  • De manière à rendre inviolable la coque 6 formée par le prolongement 5B, le matériau utilisé est non seulement semi-rigide, mais de plus il lui est donné une conformation telle à former lors de sa pré-rétraction, une collerette terminale 5C s'étendant radialement vers l'intérieur et dont le bord intérieur vient entourer étroitement le bouchon 4 de la bouteille ou contenant 1, interdisant ainsi toutes possibilités d'insérer les doigts dans la coque 6 en vue de l'enlèvement de l'objet 7.
  • De la manière qui vient d'être décrite, la coque 6 est obtenue au cours d'une opération unique de pose du manchon 5 dont elle en constitue une partie.
  • L'exemple de réalisation représenté sur la figure 3 diffère essentiellement de celui de la figure 1 en ce que le support 8 d'informations 8A préexistant, est constitué par le contenant 1 proprement dit, sur lequel ont été reportées directement les informations.
  • L'exemple de réalisation représenté sur la figure 4 diffère essentiellement des précédents en ce que le support d'informations 8A préexistant sur le contenant est constitué par un premier manchon 13 en matière plastique thermorétractable préalablement posé directement sur ledit contenant 1. Ce premier manchon 13 aura de préférence une épaisseur faible, telle que 40 à 60 microns. Dans ce cas, la partie 5A du manchon 5 et le manchon d'origine 13 se superposent.
  • L'exemple de réalisation représenté sur la figure 5 diffère des précédents en ce que l'enveloppe est constituée par un manchon 5 en matière thermoplastique thermorétractable transparent formant en soi un support d'informations 8A dans sa partie 5A en contact étroit avec le contenant 1.
  • L'exemple de réalisation représenté sur la figure 6 est caractéristique en ce que la coque 6A formant un logement est constituée par une proéminence 5D du manchon 5 s'étendant latéralement au-delà d'une partie 5A qui est en contact étroit avec le contenant 1.
  • Bien entendu, hormis ce qui concerne le prolongement 5B constituant la coque 6 avec sa piqûre circonférentielle 9 ou sa piqûre longitudinale 10 mentionné dans les exemples précédents, toutes les caractéristiques précitées s'appliquent à l'exemple de la figure 6.
  • Bien entendu, un même manchon 5 peut présenter simultanément plusieurs coques renfermant chacun au moins un objet publicitaire, par exemple à la fois la coque 6 des figures 1 à 5 et la coque 6A de la figure 6, ou encore plusieurs coques du type de la coque 6A de la figure 6.
  • Selon une caractéristique propre à tous les modes de réalisation ci-dessus décrits, la coque 6 ou 6A peut comporter des moyens de rigidification, tels que des nervures, obtenus lors de la pré-rétraction de l'enveloppe sur la préforme de moulage.
  • Il est également à noter que la coque 6 ou 6A est préformée, préalablement à sa mise en place sur le contenant 1, par une opération de rétraction au moins partielle, sur un élément correspondant ou préforme de moulage.

Enveloppe plus particulièrement destinée à l'emballage d'un contenant (1) renfermant un produit de consommation, du type constitué par un manchon préformé (5) en matière plastique thermorétractable formant ou non un support d'informations et ayant des dimensions initiales supérieures à celles du contenant (1), pour ensuite l'entourer étroitement par rétraction définitive au cours d'une opération de chauffage, caractérisée en ce que le manchon préformé (5) est semi-rigide et comporte localement au moins une coque (6 ; 6A) formant un logement semi-rigide également préformé, destiné à l'intégration dans ladite enveloppe d'un objet (7) devant être rendu indissociable du contenant (1) jusqu'à son achat et dont le prélèvement ultérieur ne détériore pas la présentation d'origine du contenant (1).
  2. Enveloppe selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la coque (6) formant un logement est constituée par un prolongement (5B) du manchon (5) s'étendant longitudinalement au-delà d'une partie (5A) en contact étroit avec le contenant (1) et dont son extrémité libre est au moins partiellement fermée (5C).
  3. Enveloppe selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la coque (6A) formant un logement est constituée par une proéminence (5D) du manchon (5) s'étendant latéralement au-delà d'une partie (5A) en contact étroit avec le contenant (1).
  4. Enveloppe selon l'une des revendications 2 ou 3, caractérisée en ce que la coque (6 ; 6A) comporte des moyens de rigidification, tels que des nervures.
  5. Enveloppe selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que la coque (6 ; 6A) est préformée, préalablement à sa mise en place sur le contenant (1), par une opération de rétraction au moins partielle, sur un élément correspondant ou préforme de moulage.
  6. Enveloppe selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée par un manchon (5) en matière plastique thermorétractable transparent et vierge de toute information, de manière à être posé sur le contenant (1) par-dessus un support d'informations (8A) préexistant sur celui-ci.
  7. Enveloppe selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que le support d'informations (8A) préexistant sur le contenant (1) est constitué par une étiquette collée.
  8. Enveloppe selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que le support d'informations (8A) préexistant est constitué par le contenant (1) proprement dit sur lequel ont été reportées directement les informations (8A).
  9. Enveloppe selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que le support d'informations (8A) préexistant sur le contenant (1) est constitué par un premier manchon (13) en matière plastique thermorétractable préalablement posé sur ledit contenant (1).
  10. Enveloppe selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée par un manchon (5) en matière thermoplastique transparente formant en soi un support d'informations (8A) dans sa partie (5A) en contact étroit avec le contenant (1).
  11. Enveloppe selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 et 4 à 10, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte des moyens d'arrachement (9) disposés dans une zone périphérique située entre la partie (5A) du manchon (5) en contact étroit avec le contenant (1) et son prolongement (5B) formant coque, de manière à pouvoir détacher ledit prolongement (5B) pour prendre possession de l'objet (7) disposé à l'intérieur, indépendamment de l'autre partie (5A) et sans détérioration de celle-ci (5A).
  12. Enveloppe selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1, 2 et 4 à 9, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte des moyens d'arrachement (10) permettant de la détacher intégralement du contenant (1) sans détérioration du support d'informations (8) du contenant (1).
  13. Enveloppe selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1, 2 et 4 à 12, caractérisée en ce que le prolongement (5B) du manchon (5) formant coque inclut un élément indépendant support d'informations complémentaires (12).
  14. Enveloppe selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que l'objet (7) à intégrer dans la coque (6 ; 6A) est préalablement fixé sur une zone libre du contenant (1).
