Diese Ausführungsvariante bietet dann erhebliche Vorteile, wenn bei kurzen Arbeitstakten lange Öffnungszeiten der Schutzeinrichtung notwendig sind. Eine zu starke Erwärmung der Magnetspule durch eine länger andauernde Erregung kann somit nicht eintreten.

Claims (12)

  1. A safety switch device enclosed by a housing (1), having a push rod (3) which can be actuated by means of a key (2) that can be introduced into the housing (1) and which is mounted axially displaceably on its longitudinal axis and which is operatively connected to an electric switch (4) for interrupting a machine motor, in such a way that the switch (4) is switched on or off depending on the respective position of the push rod (3), and having an electromagnetically actuable locking device (6), wherein the key (2) can be pulled out of the housing (1) only after excitation of the locking device (6) because the locking device (6) blocks a switching wheel (5, 19) and the push rod (3) which is pivotably mounted thereto, characterised in that the switching wheel (5, 19) is movable by the push rod (3) and can be fixed by means of a locking lever (8) connected to the locking device (6), and that the switch (4) is actuable by the switching wheel (5, 19), wherein the locking lever (8) and the switch (4) are directly connected to the switching wheel (5, 19).
  2. A safety switch device according to claim 1 characterised in that the switching wheel is in the form of a cam disc (5) or cam shaft (19).
  3. A safety switch device according to claim 1 characterised in that a monitoring switch (7) electrically connected to an on switch on the machine is arranged at the end of the locking lever (8), which is opposite to the locking device (6), wherein the locking lever is pivotably secured to a pivot axis (11) fixed between the monitoring switch (7) and the locking device (6).
  4. A safety switch device according to claim 1 characterised in that the locking lever (8) has a hook (9) which engages behind a projection (10) of the switching wheel in the locking position.
  5. A safety switch device according to claim 2 characterised in that the push rod is provided in its end remote from the key (2) with a projection (14) which is guided in a slot (15) in the cam disc (5).
  6. A safety switch device according to claim 2 characterised in that the switching member (13) of the switch (4) lies in a curve-like opening (12) in the cam disc (5).
  7. A safety switch device according to claim 3 characterised in that the switch (4) and/or the monitoring switch (7) and/or the locking device (6) are arranged to extend transversely to the longitudinal axis of the push rod (3).
  8. A safety switch device according to claim 4 characterised in that the locking device (6) is connected in the region of the locking lever (8), which is adjacent to the hook (9).
  9. A safety switch device according to claim 4 characterised in that the locking device is connected in the end region of the locking lever (8), which is remote from the hook (9).
  10. A safety switch device according to claim 1 characterised in that the switch (4) is connected to the switching wheel by a crank (20).
  11. A safety switch device according to one of claims 3 or 7 characterised in that the monitoring switch (7) and the switch (4) are connected together one upon the other.
  12. A safety switch device according to claim 1 characterised in that there is provided a spring pin (21) with which the locking lever (8) can be pressed into the switching wheel.
