Definitions
- the invention relates to a vehicle with a container and a suction hose connected to the container according to the features of the preamble of patent claim 1.
- a reel with a vertical axis of rotation for receiving the suction hose is provided lying on the container.
- Distanced from the reel and also arranged on the top of the container there is a turntable with a vertical axis of rotation, on which an arm serving as an extension arm for the suction hose is attached. Since the distance between the reel and the boom or its slewing ring is relatively small for reasons relating to the system and its construction, the boom can only be pivoted to a very limited extent so that the hose section lying between the reel and the boom is not bent too much.
- a rectangular support platform for the hose lying horizontally on the top of the lying container This support platform extends over the entire length of the vehicle and is attached to the container.
- an extraction and retraction device for the suction hose On the rear narrow side of the rectangular support platform, namely in a corner area, an extraction and retraction device for the suction hose is fixed.
- the bushing for the hose is arranged in the area of the other corner of the support platform.
- the arm for the suction hose which can be pivoted about a vertical axis and is usually also variable in length, is fixed to the container separately from the support platform.
- the present invention is based on this state of the art and aims to improve vehicles of this type in such a way that the boom can practically be moved within an unrestricted angular range, in spite of the horizontal position of the hose strand located between the bushing and the boom, what succeeds according to the invention by those measures and features that are the content and subject of the characterizing part of claim 1.
- Advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the subclaims.
- the retracting suction hose 3 rests on these freely rotatable rollers 15 and can therefore be retracted without any particular effort.
- the pull-in and pull-out device 5 is used for retracting.
- the axial extent of these rollers 15 is therefore at least as large as half the diameter of the suction hose 3, but is preferably somewhat larger.
- the axis 8, about which both the support platform 4 and the bushing 11 can be pivoted independently of one another, lies in a vertical longitudinal center plane of the container 2.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 now show a support platform 4, which is rectangular and which extends in its normal position in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
- the vertical axis 8 about which the rectangular support platform 4 and also the bushing 11 of the suction hose 3 can be pivoted independently of one another, lies here to the side of the vertical longitudinal center plane of the container 2.
- the bushing 11 for the suction hose 3 and the pull-in and pull-out device 5 are here arranged on the rear narrow side 17 of the rectangular support plane, but in opposite corner areas. Otherwise, the mode of operation of this device results from what has been said in connection with the representations according to FIGS. 4 and 5.
- the hose located on the support platform 4 is always in the same position relative to the boom 6, regardless of its respective pivoting relative to the longitudinal central axis 7 of the vehicle.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a vehicle with a container and a suction hose connected to the container according to the features of the preamble of patent claim 1.
A vehicle of a comparable type is shown and described in DE-PS 30 02 557 (= US-
& Co. KG (April 89) und der Firma Faun Eurotec-Vertriebsgesellschaft für Entsorgungstechnik (8/91).Other vehicles of a comparable type have, instead of the reel mentioned, a rectangular support platform for the hose lying horizontally on the top of the lying container. This support platform extends over the entire length of the vehicle and is attached to the container. On the rear narrow side of the rectangular support platform, namely in a corner area, an extraction and retraction device for the suction hose is fixed. The bushing for the hose is arranged in the area of the other corner of the support platform. The arm for the suction hose, which can be pivoted about a vertical axis and is usually also variable in length, is fixed to the container separately from the support platform. Here, too, in this construction the boom can only be pivoted to a very limited extent, because otherwise the hose strand lying between the pull-out and pull-in device and the boom would be bent too much. Vehicles of this type are described and shown in the brochure of Müller-Umwelttechnik GmbH. & Co. KG (April 89) and Faun Eurotec-Vertriebsgesellschaft für Entsorgungstechnik (8/91).
The present invention is based on this state of the art and aims to improve vehicles of this type in such a way that the boom can practically be moved within an unrestricted angular range, in spite of the horizontal position of the hose strand located between the bushing and the boom, what succeeds according to the invention by those measures and features that are the content and subject of the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the subclaims.
- Fig. 2 zeigt in Draufsicht diese
- 1 shows a side view of a vehicle in a first embodiment; Figures 2 and 3, the support platform in plan view, with retracted and with extended hose. 4 and 5 in plan view a support platform in a second embodiment, with the hose retracted (FIG. 4) and with the hose extended (FIG. 5).
The vehicle shown in a side view in FIG. 1 has a vehicle chassis 1 on which a lyingcontainer 2 is mounted, which is expediently mounted so as to be tiltable about a rear axis perpendicular to the plane of the drawing. Asuction hose 3 is provided for sucking up the suction material. The structure of such vehicles and their mode of operation are well known and therefore do not require further discussion here. On the top of the lyingcontainer 2, a horizontally lyingsupport platform 4 is arranged, which in the first embodiment is designed like a disc. Tangentially to this disk-like support platform 4 is connected to this support platform fixed pull-in and pull-outdevice 5 for thehose 3, as is known per se in such devices and which works with driven rollers or rotating belts, between which the retractable and extendable hose lies. Connected to thesupport platform 4 or the pull-in and pull-outdevice 5 is the suitablyextendable boom 6, the length of which can be changed thereby, by means of which the free hose end can be brought to the place of use. The longitudinal central axis of the lyingcontainer 2 is indicated in FIGS. 2 and 3 by a dash-dottedline 7. This disc-like support platform 4 is pivotally mounted about avertical axis 8, which lies in the middle of this disc-like support platform 4. This pivoting possibility is indicated by thearrow 9.
Coaxial to thisvertical axis 8, thebushing 11 of thehose 3 is rotatably or pivotably mounted, on oneside 12 of which the end of thehose 3 is connected. The mouth level of this hose end is perpendicular to the support level of thesupport platform 4. Within this fitting, which forms thebushing 11, a non-visible closure flap is arranged here, which can be actuated by means of a piston-cylinder unit 13. This piston-cylinder unit 13 extends - with respect to the vertical axis 8 - radially and is parallel to the support plane of thesupport platform 4. It is diametrically opposed to the connection of the suction hose. Its axial length corresponds to approximately half the radius of the disk-like support platform 4 and at its end this piston-cylinder unit carries aroller 14 which can be freely rotated about a vertical axis. Along the circumference of thesupport platform 4 there is a large number ofrollers 15 which can be freely rotated about vertical axes provided, the length of which corresponds to at least half the diameter of thesuction hose 3. A motor, not shown here, is provided for pivoting thesupport platform 4 in the direction of thearrow 9. - 2 shows a top view of this
support platform 4 with thesuction hose 3 drawn in or retracted, which extends along therollers 15, so thesuction hose 3 is placed on top. Thesuction hose 3 must be extended for operational use. For this purpose, the pull-in and pull-outdevice 5 is switched on and theboom 6 is also extended, which then - FIG. 2 - moves to the right (arrow 16). When the last-mentioned units are put into operation, thesuction hose 3 stored on the support level of thesupport platform 4 is now pulled off, thebushing 11 rotating or pivoting about theaxis 8 when thesupport platform 4 is stopped, so that when thesuction hose 3 is completely extended, 3 is obtained, thisbushing 11 has moved by approximately 330 °. Regardless of this movement of thesuction hose 3, theimplementation 11 and theboom 6, thesupport platform 4 can now be pivoted as a whole about theaxis 8, so that theboom 6 with the depending hose end can cover an angular range of approximately 300 ° without thereby changing the position of the hose section located on thesupport platform 4. When thesuction hose 3 is pulled off, the section of thesuction hose 3 located on thesupport platform 4 is supported in the radial direction by theroller 14. This freelyrotatable roller 14 is arranged here at the end of a piston-cylinder unit 13 which is used to actuate a closure flap which is arranged in the fitting serving aspassage 11. The axis of this piston-cylinder unit 13 is parallel to the support plane of thesupport platform 4. In addition, this piston-cylinder unit 13, based on theaxis 8 of the rotatably mountedbushing 11, is arranged to extend radially to the connection mouth of thesuction hose 3. If no actuator or actuator is required for a shutter is, instead of this piston-cylinder unit 13, a simple extension arm can be provided.
The

Thanks to the construction according to the invention, the hose located on the
