Description
The invention relates to a projector, in particular a headlamp for motor vehicle.
It relates in particular to a projector of the type comprising a light source such as a filament lamp generally without cup, a reflector having a surface chosen to form, in an axial direction and horizontal illumination, images of the source according to a determined distribution, and a closing window. According to a nonlimiting example, it can be a defined surface analytically so as to form images of the source all points of which are located below a cut predetermined.
Documents FR-A-2 536 502 and FR-A-2 536 503 describe projectors of this type, which respectively define a passing beam and a fog beam essentially by the particular conformation of the reflector surface.
This type of projector avoids the use not only of a blackout cup or screen, but also to a strongly deviating ice and thus provides good uniformity of spreading of the beam, in particular in direction vertical.
These projectors, as well as projectors have so far required the use of a closing glass provided with zones deflectors (such as streaks or half-streaks), especially to spread and homogenize the beam in horizontal direction.
In this case, when the glass is strongly tilted - this which may be desirable for style reasons - it becomes difficult to achieve these deviating zones, of which efficiency degrades as we need to tilt the closing glass.
We certainly know, in particular by US-A-1 732 884 a headlamp which allows the use of smooth glass, with streaks on the surface of the reflector, or analogs to ensure the required spreading of the light. This projector is as defined in the preamble of claim 1.
However, a disadvantage of this known projector is in that the discontinuities between adjacent streaks of the reflector, and more particularly between two streaks located one above the other, will generate in the overall beam obtained from photometric defects, and especially rising light rays, susceptible dazzle drivers of oncoming vehicles reverse. One solution to this problem could be to provide streaks extending over the entire height of the reflective and having a constant profile. However, the design flexibility in this case would be very significantly reduced, and it would become very difficult to form, without using ice, a beam having a satisfactory photometry.
The present invention aims to overcome this drawback and to propose a projector which, while presenting a lens smooth glass or glass with non-functional ridges, that is to say purely decorative and without optical role, and a reflector provided with reliefs capable of distributing judiciously light, does not include at the level of said reflector substantially no horizontal draft likely to create anomalies in the beam, while offering those skilled in the art great flexibility design of this reflector and therefore of the photometry of the beam emitted.
Essentiellement, pour atteindre ce but, l'invention propose un projecteur tel que défini dans la revendication 1.Essentially, to achieve this goal, the invention provides a projector as defined in claim 1.
The invention also relates to a manufacturing method a reflector as defined in claim 3.
Preferred aspects of the projector and its method of manufacturing are defined in subclaims 2 and 4.
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the detailed description below, made with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a schematic sectional view of a projector according to the invention.
Figure 2 shows how the streak areas are distributed over the surface of the reflector according to a flat definition of the network of deviating zones.
Figure 5 is equivalent to Figure 4, for a variant embodiment of the invention.
Figure 6 is equivalent to Figure 3, for a second embodiment.
horizontale. In Figure 1, there is shown very schematically a
headlamp for a motor vehicle, comprising a source
luminous 10, in this case a filament lamp, a reflector
or
Note that the filament can be replaced by the bow of a discharge lamp.
réalisés uniquement par le réflecteur 20.Characteristically of the invention, the
direction d'éclairement Δ.To this end, we define in a
We can see in Figure 3, from the front, a network of zones deviators corresponding to a first embodiment of the invention, for a left projector mirror. These deviating zones are referenced 41 and can be, each, whether or not adjoining other neighboring areas.
We then project, according to Δ which constitutes the direction
projection for this purpose, each of the
We can see in particular Figure 4 the profile of this streak, whose slightly curved shape presents with the surface of projection 23 a differential deviation in normal direction δ of 0.1 to 0.5 mm. However, a larger gap can be used if you want to give streaks a prismatic effect.
In FIG. 4, complete streaks have been shown,
that is to say that the
In a second embodiment, illustrated in
figure 6 (and corresponding to a right headlamp), we use
so-called "progressive" streaks, that is to say whose profile
varies continuously when moving along their length, the
Indeed, in the first embodiment, the discontinuities resulting from horizontal transition zones are shown on the illumination diagram by lines horizontal glare generating, which are also amplified when it is necessary to coat the mirror with a protective varnish, because the latter tends to deposit irregularly and to focus more or less unpredictable around discontinuities. The use of progressive streaks in particular makes it possible to overcome this difficulty.
