In der Fig. 1 ist perspektivisch eine Flanschverstärkung dargestellt, die auf der Oberseite eines Pumpengehäuses 1 im Bereich eines möglichen Druckstutzenanschlusses befestigt ist. Das gabelförmige Teil 2 der Flanschverstärkung verfügt über zwei Schenkel 3, 4, die durch eine Verbindende 5 miteinander verbunden sind. Die Breite der Schenkel 3, 4 kann je nach verwendetem Anschlußstutzen gleich oder unterschiedlich sein. Am gabelförmigen Teil 2 ist am Außenumfangsteil der Verbindenden 5 ein Stützelement 8 angeformt und so umgebogen, daß es am Pumpengehäuse 1 zur Anlage gelangt. Der zwischen dem gabelförmigen Teil 2 und dem Stützelement 8 eingeschlossene Winkel α ist gleich oder größer 90°. Somit kann diese Flanschverstärkung auch bei unterschiedlich langen Anschlußstutzen Verwendung finden. Zur Anpassung ist dann lediglich das Stützelement 8 mehr oder weniger stark umzubiegen, um zur Anlage am Pumpengehäuse zu gelangen.
