Abstract

When fastening cladding panels or the like on the underlying surface by means of fastening elements (1) which can be pushed and driven in by a setting tool (2), the correct fitting thereof can be controlled only with difficulty; but said correct fitting is desirable in order, for example, to avoid finishing work on facades and to prevent accidents due to panels falling off. Description

Dabei ist es besonders vorteilhaft, wenn die Kupplung von der Reaktionskraft nur dann überwindbar ist, wenn eine die Platte am Untergrund fixierende Haltekraft an dem in diese eingetriebenen Stift eine vorgebbare Größe nicht unterschreitet. Auf diese Weise kann man durch die konstruktive Ausbildung der Kupplung dafür sorgen, daß jede einzelne durch das Befestigungselement hergestellte Verbindung durch eine vorgebbare Mindest-Haltkraft gekennzeichnet ist. Eine solche auch quantitativ absicherbare Halterung durch einen eintreibbaren Stift löst die erfindungsgemäße Aufgabe in überraschend einfacher Weise, ohne daß dafür das üblicherweise verwendete, bewährte Setzverfahren aufgegeben werden müßte. Befestigungselement, insbesondere für die Befestigung einer wärme- und schallisolierenden Platte an einem Untergrund, mit einem vorzugsweise als Kunststoff-Spritzgußteil ausgebildeten Halteteil (11), das aus einem in die Platte (5) mittels eines Setzgerätes (2) eintreibbaren hohlen Schaftstück (11a) und einem an das Schaftstück quer zu dessen Achse einstückig angeformten Druckplatte (11c) besteht, die gegenüber dem Schaftstück (11a) großflächig ausgebildet ist, wobei das Halteteil mittels eines in das Schaftstück einführbaren Hülse (21) des Setzgerätes (2) mindestens so weit in die Platte (5) einführbar ist, daß das Druckplatte (11c) in etwa an deren Oberfläche anliegt, und mit einem Stift (12) aus einem festen Werkstoff, insbesondere aus Metall, der in das Schaftstück (11a) einsetzbar und von dem Setzgerät (2) mittels eines in der Hülse (21) längsbeweglichen, einer Schlagkraft aussetzbaren Schlagstößels in den Untergrund treibbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
eine formschlüssige, auf die gegenseitige axiale Beweglichkeit zwischen dem Schaftstück (11a) und der Hülse (21) gerichtete Kupplung (4) vorgesehen und zumindest dann wirksam herstellbar ist, wenn das Halteteil (11) mittels des Setzgerätes (2) in die Platte (5) eingeführt ist, und daß diese nur nach Überwindung einer vorgegebenen Haltkraft (Fhalt) des Befestigungselementes überwindbar ist.
