Claims (4)

  1. Atemschutzhelm, umfassend eine äußere Hülle (1), eine innere Hülle (7), eine Überdruckkammer (8), eine Atemgasquelle (11) und eine Maske (4) mit Einwegventilen (9,10) in einem Umlaufsystem, wobei:
    A) die Außenhülle:
    (i) aus einem gasdichten Material besteht,
    (ii) mindestens in einem Bereich transparent ist,
    (iii) mit einer elastischen Nackenabdichtung ausgestattet ist;
    B) wobei die innere Hülle:
    (i) dicht anliegend am Kopf ausgebildet ist,
    (ii) aus einem elastischen Material besteht,
    (iii) mit der äußeren Hülle verbunden ist,
    (iv) mit dem Ring der Maske verbunden ist, der zu ihrer Unterstützung dient und auf dem Gesicht aufsetzbar ist;
    C) wobei die Überdruckkammer:
    (i) angeordnet ist in dem Raum zwischen der inneren und der äußeren Hülle,
    (ii) und dieser Zwischenraum mit einem Volumen ausgebildet ist, welches das Atemvolumen des Benutzers übersteigt;
    D) wobei die Atemgasquelle trockenes Atemgas liefert direkt in die Überdruckkammer zur Anhebung des Überdruckes und
    E) wobei die Maske den Mund des Benutzers überdeckt und
    (i) ein Einwegeinlaßventil (9) besitzt, durch welches das Atemgas von der Überdruckkammer zu dem Hohlraum in der Maske strömt, und
    (ii) ein Einwegauslaßventil (10) besitzt, durch welches Atemgas von dem Hohlraum der Maske zu der Umgebungsatmosphäre strömt.
  2. Atemschutzhelm nach Anspruch 1, bei dem die Atemgasquelle mit Druckluft gefüllt ist.
  3. Atemschutzhelm nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem die Öffnungsdrücke des Einlaß- und des Auslaßventiles so gewählt sind, daß ein Überdruck in der Überdruckkammer aufrechterhalten ist.
  4. Atemschutzhelm nach einem oder mehreren der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, bei dem ein weiteres Bedarfsventil vorgesehen ist.
