Description
The present invention relates to an assembly for the distribution and application of a fluid product.
There are known sets of application and distribution of a fluid product in which is fixed, on the neck of a flexible or rigid bottle, an applicator holder provided with an applicator, in particular a brush, the applicator holder , and possibly the applicator, being provided with a channel for impregnating the applicator with the product. Such sets are used for the distribution, for example, of nail polish, glue, waxing or ink.
However, in these assemblies there is frequently an accidental distribution of product in the applicator between two manipulations, and, consequently, the product risks contaminating the environment if the assembly remains open between two manipulations. In addition, the user may get their hands dirty when handling the application and dispensing assembly.
To avoid this drawback, it has been proposed in EP-A-0 238 391 to close the impregnation channel by making the applicator holder mobile in translation between a position where the impregnation channel is closed by the applicator holder and a position where this impregnation channel is open, the applicator being protected, after application, in its position where it closes the impregnation channel; unfortunately, the applicator according to this document is a porous wick, soaked with product to be applied by capillary effect, whose texture with high pressure drop makes it possible to retain the product contained in the impregnation channel and to discharge it into the bottle. when returning the applicator holder to its retracted position where it is protected; thus, such an assembly is not suitable when the applicator is a brush consisting of a crown of bristles fixed around the impregnation channel.
In US-A-4 279 527, an assembly has been proposed, the applicator of which is a brush consisting of a crown of bristles fixed around the impregnation channel, in which the impregnation channel is closed off with a needle, the applicator holder being movable in translation relative to the needle holder between a position where the needle closes the impregnation channel and a position where this impregnation channel is open. However, the assembly described in US Pat. No. 4,279,527 does not make it possible to protect the applicator after application to prevent the product remaining on the applicator from drying out too quickly or from contaminating the objects with which the applicator is in contact. contact.
The present invention therefore relates to an assembly for the distribution and application of a fluid product comprising a bottle containing said product, an applicator holder provided with an applicator and an impregnation channel for impregnating the applicator with said product, the applicator holder being movable in translation relative to an operating sleeve carried by the bottle between a position where the impregnation channel is closed and a position where said channel is open, said operating sleeve being able to be actuated manually in rotation relative to the bottle and having a length such that in the closed position of the impregnation channel, the applicator is entirely contained in said maneuvering sleeve, said maneuvering sleeve carrying an internal thread, which cooperates with an external thread of the applicator holder, said applicator holder being locked in rotation relative to the operating sleeve, characterized in that, part, the obturator of the impregnation channel is produced by means of a needle secured to a needle holder fixed relative to the bottle, that, on the other hand, the applicator is a brush constituted by a crown of bristles fixed annularly around the impregnation channel and, finally, the applicator holder comprises a sealing bead cooperating with the internal wall of the maneuvering sleeve and permanently separating the brush from the area of said maneuvering sleeve which carries the thread internal.
Consequently, throughout the invention, the applicator holder is driven in a translational movement both relative to the operating sleeve and relative to the needle holder between two positions, a position where the channel d 'impregnation is closed and where the applicator is fully contained in the operating sleeve and a position where the impregnation channel is open and where the applicator is removed from the operating sleeve so as to allow the application of the product.
Preferably, according to the invention, the operating sleeve carries an internal thread cooperating with an external thread of the applicator holder, the applicator holder being locked in rotation. Advantageously, the external thread of the applicator holder has only one to two turns moving between the turns of the internal thread of the operating sleeve closest to the bottle and the furthest turns from the bottle. The applicator holder is advantageously locked in rotation by a fin secured to said applicator holder, disposed in a slot made in the needle holder which is fixed because it is secured to the bottle.
According to a preferred embodiment, the assembly of the invention comprises a cap capable of covering the end of the operating sleeve when the applicator is in the closed position of the impregnation channel. This cap advantageously comprises a sealing skirt extending towards the inside of the cap and capable of pressing on the end of the operating sleeve containing the applicator in the closed position of the impregnation channel.
To better understand the invention, we will give below, by way of illustration and not limitation, the description of an embodiment of a dispensing and application assembly according to the invention illustrated in the accompanying drawing.

L'élément cylindrique 46 se prolonge vers l'extérieur selon une collerette tronconique 47.The internal surface of the
The distribution and application assembly 1 operates in the manner described below.
L'aiguille 13 obture le canal 53 du pinceau 38.In the storage position, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the
When the user wishes to apply the product contained in the
After applying the product, the user turns the
