Gemäß der Erfindung wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß der Bürstentopf mittels eines am unteren Ende der Wandbefestigung angeordneten Gelenkstücks und der Deckel mittels eines am oberen Ende der Wandbefestigung angeordneten Kniehebels schwenkbar gelagert ist, daß der Kniehebel einen ersten, bei geschlossenem Deckel dem Bürstentopf zugewandten und in ihn hineinragenden Teil und einen zweiten, an der Wandbefestigung schwenkbar gelagerten Teil aufweist, und daß der Deckel und der mit ihm verbundene erste Teil des Kniehebels bezogen auf die Schwenkachse des Kniehebels ein größeres Drehmoment ausüben als der Bürstentopf einschließlich in ihm enthaltener Bürste über den an ihm am oberen Rand anliegenden zweiten Teil.The invention seeks to remedy this. Für den Durchrtitt des Bürstenstiels weist der Deckel in üblicher Weise einen Schlitz auf. Bei Entnahme der Bürste durch Anfassen des außerhalb des Deckels angeordneten Stiels schwenkt die Bürste, deren Borstenteil entlang der Innenseite des Deckels gleitet, den Deckel um die Schwenkachse des Kniehebels. Gleichzeitig schwenkt der Bürstentopf unter seinem Eigengewicht um einen spitzen Winkel um das Gelenkstück, so daß der Bürstentopf schräg zur Wandbefestigung angeordnet ist und die Bürste leichter entnommen werden kann. Der dem Bürstentopf zugeordnete Teil des Kniehebels begrenzt die Schwenkbewegung. Der Öffnungswinkel zwischen Deckel und Bürstentopf ist so groß, daß die Bürste problemlos entnommen werden kann. Der dem Deckel zugeordnete Teil des Kniehebels hält den Deckel nach Entnahme der Bürste in seiner Offenstellung, der Bürstentopf bleibt zugänglich. Wird die Bürste wieder in den Bürstentopf zurückgestellt, fängt sich die Bürste in dem Bürstentopf und steht aufrecht. Eine leichte Bewegung des Bürstenstiels in Richtung der Wandhalterung hebt die von dem Kniehebel bewirkte Halte-Offenstellung des Deckels auf. Claims (7)

  1. Brush assembly, where a wall fastening (3) locates a brush cup (1)
    which is closed with brush (4) accommodated by a cover (2) through which passes a stem (41), characterized by the fact that the brush cup (1) is swivel-mounted by means of an articulated element (32) arranged at the top end of the wall fastening (3), and the cover (2) by means of a toggle lever (22) arranged at the top end of the wall fastening (3), that the toggle lever (22) incorporates a first part (23) facing towards the brush cup (1) and projecting into it when the cover (2) is closed, and a second part swivel-mounted on the wall fastening (3), and that the cover (2) and the first part (23) of the toggle lever (22) joined to it exert a greater torque in relation to the swivelling axis of the toggle lever than the brush cup (1), including the brush (4) incorporated in it, via the second part (27) resting on it at the top edge (14).
  2. Brush assembly in accordance with Claim 1, characterized by the fact that the articulated element (32) is provided at the bottom end of the wall fastening (3) with an arm (33), on which the brush cup (1) is fitted with a mounting (12) fixed to it.
  3. Brush assembly in accordance with Claim 2, characterized by the fact that the mounting (12) is cast onto the brush cup (1).
  4. Brush assembly in accordance with one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized by the fact that the inner compartment (13) of the brush cup (1) takes the form of a tapered cone from its edge (14) to its base (11).
  5. Brush assembly in accordance with one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized by the fact that the toggle lever (22) is cast onto the inside of the cover (2).
  6. Brush assembly in accordance with Claim 5, characterized by the fact that the toggle lever (22) is provided with a notched recess (26) by which, when the cover (2) is open, the edge (14) of the brush cup (1) is located.
  7. Brush assembly in accordance with Claim 6, characterized by the fact that the toggle lever (22), between the notched recess (26) and the cover (2), takes the form of an annular surface (24), along which the edge (14) of the of the brush cup (1) is pressed into closed position when brush cup (1) and cover (2) are released.
