Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an overcapping capsule intended to cap a bottle neck, and of the type comprising a head patch intended to cover the end face of said collar and a skirt linked to the periphery of said patch.
Such capsules are used in particular for styling the necks of traditional wine bottles or alcohol bottles. The top pad which may optionally be coated with a stamp representative of tax duties and whose dimensions depend on the type of bottle, includes various information in particular on the origin of the product and its quality. It may be used to monitor the accounting of alcohol taxes.
Currently, the pellet is in the form of a flat disc. The periphery of this disc covers folds formed at one of the open ends of the skirt, said folds themselves covering the annular end face of the bottle neck. The patch is fixed to the pleated annular area of the skirt using sealing tools. It follows that the marking of the information on the patch cannot be carried out by embossing on the entire surface of the patch because the imprints would be crushed when the patch is sealed on the skirt.
The object of the present invention is to propose an overcaping capsule of the type mentioned which allows for relief printing on the patch by stamping.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the characteristics indicated in the characterizing part of claim 1.
According to a first alternative embodiment, the cup covers the adjacent end of the skirt.
According to a second alternative embodiment, the cup is fitted into the adjacent end of the skirt.
Thanks to this arrangement, the folding operation of the annular end of the skirt is eliminated as well as the need to apply an axial force on the patch in order to bond the latter to the skirt.
Therefore, the upper face of the capsule has an impeccable presentation, which can serve as an ideal support for printing and / or embossing operations.
On the other hand, the pressure rollers which fix the capsule on the bottle neck do not encounter any obstacles during their back and forth movement along the skirt during the crimping of the capsule on the bottle neck, d 'where an impeccable presentation.
Advantageously, the skirt is linked to the rim of the cup by gluing.
Another object of the invention is to propose an overcapping capsule which makes it possible to ensure the protection of the contents of the bottle which is equipped with it against malicious acts and in particular against piercing of the cup and the stopper by a syringe.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the fact that the capsule further comprises a tamper-evident disc which covers the inner face of the cup.
Son épaisseur est de préférence supérieure à 0,01 mm, et inférieure à 1 mm.This disc is advantageously made of stainless steel. Its thickness is preferably greater than 0.01 mm, and less than 1 mm.
