Definitions

  • the subject of the present invention is a device for closing and tightening a ski boot comprising a tensioning lever articulated on a support intended to be fixed on a part of the boot and at least one traction member intended to be connected to a other shoe part and connected to the tension lever by a transverse part to this tension lever, the tension lever being shaped in such a way that the point of attachment of the traction member moves on the tension lever, relatively to the axis of articulation of the tensioning lever, between two limits, during the rotation of the tensioning lever around its axis of articulation.
  • Such a device is known from document FR-A-2 609 604.
  • the sulking described in this document comprises a tensioning lever provided with a longitudinal light in which the end of a loop freely slides.
  • the end of the light closest to the pivot axis of the tension lever corresponds to the usual point of attachment of the buckle to the tension lever ensuring tightening traction on the buckle.
  • the light itself makes it possible to obtain a wide opening of the shoe in the open position of the tensioning lever, by moving the attachment point of the buckle towards the end of the tensioning lever.
  • this device functions like the usual tensioners.
  • the present invention specifically aims to ensure perfect control of the stroke of the point of attachment of a traction member to the tensioning lever, that the tensioning lever acts on a single traction device or on several traction devices simultaneously and that the traction on the traction device with limited stroke takes place when the tensioner lever is closed or opened.
  • the invention also aims to sequence the different functions of the same loop, so as to suppress the effect of one of the functions before starting the next.
  • the device according to the invention is characterized in that the tensioning lever is shaped in such a way that the point of attachment of the traction member comes to coincide with the axis of articulation of the tensioning lever after a rotation angle determined of the tensioning lever around its articulation from one of its stable positions.
  • the traction member is retained in two parallel grooves of the tension lever, grooves one end of which coincides with the axis of articulation of the tension lever, so that the point of attachment of the traction member coincides with the axis of rotation of the tensioner lever after a rotation of the tensioner lever of approximately 90 °.
  • This angle of rotation can be increased, particularly in the case where traction is effected on opening, by forming a depression at the end of the grooves distant from the axis of rotation of the tensioning lever.
  • the means of attachment of the traction member to the tensioning lever can be in the form of a housing, at least one end of which has a hook-shaped profile.
  • Figure 1 is an elevational view in section along I-I of Figure 2 of a first embodiment.
  • Figure 2 is a top view of the device shown in Figure 1.
  • Figure 3 is an elevational view in section on III-III of Figure 4 of a second embodiment.
  • FIG. 4 is a top view of the device shown in FIG. 3.
  • the device represented in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a tensioning lever 1 articulated around an axis 2, in the usual manner, on a support 3 in the form of a stirrup fixed on a part of shoe 4.
  • the lever tensioner 1 is part of a double loop comprising a second tensioner lever 5 of which only the outline has been shown in thin lines.
  • This second tensioner 5 is articulated around the same axis 2 on the same support 3.
  • the tensioner lever has, side by side, a cutout 6 and a slot 7, both perpendicular to the axis 2 and open towards this axis .
  • a cable tie 8 crossing an axis 21 rotatably mounted in the tensioning lever.
  • a first cable 9 is fixed.
  • each side of the slot 7 are formed two opposite parallel grooves 10 in which is engaged an axis 11 to which is attached a second cable 12.
  • the grooves 10 extend to the axis 2 and so that when the axis 11 is in abutment at the end of the grooves at this location, as shown in a strong line in FIG. 1, the geometric axis of axis 11 coincides with axis 2. Oblique clearances 13 opening into the grooves 10 allow the positioning and attachment of the axis 11 to the tensioning lever 1.
  • the axis 11 first passes from position 11''' to position 11 '' passing through the grooves 10, which corresponds to a significant stroke of the cable 12, then, from position 1 '' to position 1 ', it continues to slide in the grooves 10 in the direction of the axis 2 to finally return on this axis 2. From position 1 ′, there is therefore no longer any additional traction on the cable 12, while the cable 9 continues to be pulled up to the closed position of the tensioning lever.
  • This device finds an interesting application in the closing and tightening of the upper of a shoe as described in document FR-A-2 673 081.
  • the cable 12 is used for closing the two half-collars constituting the upper, while the cable 9 is used for tightening this rod by tightening the flaps of the front half-collar.
  • the grooves 10 allow a wide opening of the rod, while ensuring the adequate closing of these two parts edge to edge thanks to the neutralization of the effect of the tensioning lever as soon as this closure is ensured, in this case in position 1 ', the rest of the stroke of the tensioning lever 1 being reserved for tightening the front half-collar.
  • the example described is a tensioner lever with two functions, but the tensioner lever could only provide the closing function by the cable 12.
  • the grooves 10, instead of being opposite one another as shown, could be formed on each side of the tensioning lever, in its lateral faces and the axis 11 could be divided into two pivots engaged in these grooves.
  • the device according to the second embodiment comprises a tensioning lever 14 articulated, like lever 1, on a support 15 in the shape of a stirrup around an axis 16.
  • This tensioning lever 14 also acts on two cables 9 and 16. It comprises a cut 17 similar to the cut 6 of the first embodiment, cut in which are housed cable attachment means 9 similar to those of the first embodiment.
  • the end of the cable 16 is fixed to a transverse axis 18 retained in a housing 19 of the tensioning lever 14. This housing is crossed by a median longitudinal slot perpendicular to the pivot axis intended for the free passage of the cable 16 during pivoting of the tensioning lever 14.
  • the housing 19 has, in profile, a transverse wall 22 substantially perpendicular to the upper face of the tensioning lever 14, a cylindrical depression 23 at the bottom of the face 22, depression followed by a ramp 24 ending in a circular part 25 in the form hook whose center coincides with the pivot axis 2 of the tensioning lever.
  • the cable 16 extends in the direction of the end of the tensioning lever 14, in the opposite direction to the cable 9, and its other end is fixed to a device exerting a certain traction on this cable, so that in position closed of the tensioning lever 14, as shown in strong lines, the cable 16 is retained on the tensioning lever 14 by its axis 18 which bears against the wall 22 or partially against the bottom of this wall and in the depression 23 , in the more or less oblique direction of traction on the cable 16.
  • the device controlled by the cable 16 can be, for example, a device for locking the rod on the bottom of the shell as described in the document FR-A- 2,661,076.
  • the tensioning lever 14 In the closed position of the tensioning lever 14, the traction on the cable 9 is maximum, while the traction on the cable 16 is minimum.
  • the tensioning lever 14 is shown in three successive opening positions 14 ', 14'',14'''.
  • the tensioning lever 14 When the tensioning lever 14 is opened, the axis 18 is driven clockwise and the cable 16 undergoes a certain traction. In the 90 ° open position shown in 14 ', the distance from the axis 18, as shown in 18', to the axis 2, has not changed, the axis 18 being well maintained by the depression 23. It is only when the tensioning lever has exceeded the 14 '' position, corresponding to a rotation of approximately 120 °, that the direction of the force exerted on the axis 18 allows it to s 'escape from the depression 23 to slide on the ramp 24 and come into the part 25 where its axis coincides with the axis of articulation 2 of the tensioning lever.
  • the pivoting of the tensioning lever 14 can continue until the fully open position 14 '' 'without more influence on the cable 16.
  • the traction on the cable 16 therefore passed through a maximum reached in position 14 '', then the cable 16 is partially released.
  • unlocking is ensured between position 14 and 14 'and then maintained in position 14' ''.
  • the cable 9 will generally be used to tighten the upper of the shoe around the leg or the shoe on the foot.
  • the tensioning lever 14 could only be used to drive the cable 16.
  • the housing 19 could be replaced by grooves similar to the grooves 10 of the first embodiment.
  • a notch could be provided or not playing the role of the depression 23, at one of the ends of the grooves.
