The respective web (7) is mounted pivotably with one end in one of the end pieces (3; 15) and rests with its other end detachably, but in a secured manner, in a recess (9) of an end piece (3; 16) lying opposite its pivot bearing (10, 11). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a wristwatch with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1. It is known to provide two pairs of mutually parallel extensions on the watch case, between each of which a spring bar is clamped. The extensions are also called impulses. The spring bars can be removed between the extensions to replace a watch strap. When the bracelet is mounted, the spring bar lies in a loop at the end of the watch strap.

The disadvantage here is that the exchange of a bracelet without a special tool is difficult, so that the owner the wristwatch is generally dependent on having the bracelet replaced by a specialist.

The present invention has for its object to provide a wristwatch on which the watch strap can be changed very easily; the external appearance of the impulses should remain largely unchanged.

This object is achieved by a wristwatch with the features specified in claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The new wristwatch no longer uses the known telescopically collapsible spring bars at its lugs, but bars of constant length, which are pivotally mounted at one end in one of the lugs and engage with their other end in a recess of an opposite lug opposite the pivot bearing secured in their position, but can be pivoted arbitrarily out of the recess. If such a web is pivoted out of the recess opposite the pivot bearing, the bracelet can be pulled off the web and another bracelet can be pushed onto the web with its abutting end and the web with its tip is then pivoted back into the recess opposite the pivot bearing and secured therein. The swivel angle does not have to be large. A pivotability of preferably 10 °, 20 ° is sufficient in order to be able to pull off the watch band unhindered.

The new lugs do not give the watch a fundamentally different look, because the recess in which the swivel bearing is located has its opening that allows pivoting on the side face of the lug facing the watch strap, so that the opening, like in a conventional wristwatch, is through the watch strap is covered. The same applies to the recess in the opposite abutment wall opposite the pivot bearing; However, this recess not only requires an opening in the side surface facing the pivot bearing, but rather this opening extends to enable the web to be pivoted in, depending on the orientation of the pivot axis, to the underside or to the tip of the abutment, an extension of the opening of the Recess down to the bottom of the abutment is particularly preferred; in this case the swivel axis runs in the "longitudinal direction" of the abutment (this is also the longitudinal direction of the watch strap when the watch strap is stretched). With this orientation, the swivel axis can be made particularly long and directionally stable without problems and can be accommodated particularly easily in the abutment. A design of the pivot axis as a tube is particularly suitable, which is soldered transversely to the web at its end and is held in the recess of the abutment belonging to the pivot bearing by a pin, which can be inserted from the tip of the abutment in the longitudinal direction and fixed therein by screwing or soldering.

Another particularly simple and therefore inexpensive option uses an approximately L-shaped bent web, which is supported with its bent leg in a preferably longitudinally extending bore and is secured against sliding out by a closing part opposite the bore, because the web, if he wants to slide out, strikes the striker.

If the lugs are not too flat, it is also possible, but less cheaply, to orient the pivot axis running transversely to the bridge so that it does not run in the longitudinal direction of the lug, but transverse to the lug and across the base of the watch case. In this case, the recess of the opposite abutment opposite the pivot bearing has an opening which extends to the tip of the abutment and in this way enables the web to be pivoted in and out.

There are different ways of securing the free end of the pivotable web in the recess opposite the pivot bearing. One possibility is to block the opening in the abutment, through which the web must move when pivoting, by screwing in a locking screw. It is easier to use and no less effective, however, to provide an undercut in the recess opposite the pivot bearing, which the web can only overcome with elastic bending, so that the web snaps into place behind the undercut when swung into the recess. The undercut is expediently oriented such that a pull exerted by the watch strap on the bridge does not pull the bridge over the rear bridge, but on the contrary pulls it more firmly into its latched position, which is achieved in that the bridge is only bent elastically in one of the prevailing ones Pull direction of the watch band can be moved in the opposite direction over the undercut. This can easily be done with the wristwatch removed by hand and without the aid of a tool, so that changing the wristband is in fact child's play, without the risk of the bracelet unintentionally detaching from the watch case.

The new way of attaching the watch strap is not only easier, it is also less expensive because the elaborate spring bars are replaced by simple metal bars, the length of which cannot be changed.

Four separate lugs do not have to protrude from the watch case; if desired for aesthetic reasons, they can also be covered in pairs and combined into one unit, e.g. by connecting their tops through a wall protruding from the watch case, which completely covers the underlying bridge and with it the end of the watch strap.

Die Ausnehmung 9 ist deshalb zum gegenüberliegenden Fortsatz 5 und zur Unterseite hin offen (siehe Figur 3).Figures 1 to 4 show a wristwatch with a housing 1, which has two diametrically opposite lugs 3 for attaching a watch band 2, which are a C-shaped structure when looking in the direction of the bracelet 2 (arrow II) (see Figure 2) , consisting of a width of the bracelet 2 adapted middle part 4, which is soldered to the edge of the watch case 1. Two extensions 5 and 6 protrude from the middle part 4 and are not visible from the top of the clock (FIG. 1). In one of the extensions 5, a web 7 is pivotally mounted. The pivot axis 8 runs in the longitudinal direction of the extensions 5 and 6 (perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 2). Opposite the pivot bearing with the axis 8, a recess 9 is provided in the opposite extension 6, into which the web 7 can be locked with its free end. The recess 9 is therefore open to the opposite extension 5 and to the bottom (see Figure 3).

When the web 7 is in its closed position in the recess 9, it has a sufficient distance from the wall of the middle part 4 (see FIG. 2) and from the edge of the watch case 1 (see FIG. 3) by a loop which is usually provided at the end of the watch band 2 , in which the web 7 is inserted, to be able to accommodate there.

The embodiment shown in Figure 5 differs from that shown in Figure 3 in that On each side of the watch case 1 there are two lugs 15 and 16 which are parallel to one another and which perform the same task as the extensions 6 and 7 in the first exemplary embodiment. You get from the first to the second embodiment if you omit the middle part 4 in the first embodiment. The structure of the extensions 5 and 6 or the corresponding lugs 15 and 16 corresponding to them is decisive for the fixing of the watch band 2 and the mounting of the web 7. The abutment 15 contains a pivot bearing which is similar to that in the extension 5. The abutment 16 contains a recess which is similar to the recess in the extension 6. Their structure is shown in more detail in FIGS. 6 and 7.

Um den Stift 10 ist das Röhrchen 11 mit dem Steg 7 begrenzt verschwenkbar.FIG. 6 shows a view of the side of the abutment 15 opposite the abutment 16 with the pivotable web 7 in its open position. At the end of the web 7, a cylindrical tube 11 is soldered running transverse to the web 7. This tube 11 lies in a recess 14 of the abutment, which is open on the side of the abutment 15 facing the abutment 16. The tube 11 is secured in the recess 14 by a coaxial pin 10 which is inserted into a longitudinal bore extending from the end of the abutment 15 and is soldered therein, so that the abutment 15 makes the usual closed impression at its end. The tube 11 with the web 7 can be pivoted to a limited extent around the pin 10.

To accommodate the free end of the web 7, a recess 9 is provided in the web 16, which is open on the one hand on the side facing the abutment 15 and on the other hand on the underside of the abutment 16. In the illustration shown in FIG. 7, the recess 9 is approximately L-shaped with the formation of an undercut 12 on the side facing away from the watch case. The shape and orientation of the web 7 are selected such that its front end, when it bears without force on the underside of the abutment 16, does not meet the opening of the recess 9, but lies next to it, on the side facing away from the watch case. In order to bring the web 7 into the recess 9, it must be elastically bent by pressure in the direction of the watch case, so that it engages in the area of the undercut 12 after insertion into the recess 7, thereby securing its position. Tensile forces in the watch band pull the web 7 into the undercut 12 so that there is no danger that the watch band will come loose when worn.

The exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 differs from the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7 in the mounting of the web 7 in one abutment 15. Instead of a welded-on tube, the web 7 has a bent leg 17, so that the web 7 has an overall approximately L-shaped shape. The leg 17 is mounted in a bore 18, which is longitudinally in the abutment 15 runs and continues towards the end of the abutment 15 into a recess 19 which is open towards the opposite abutment 16 and which is closed again by an inserted wedge-shaped closing part 20 except for a residual opening 21 which enables the passage 7 and pivoting of the web 7. The leg 17 is inserted into the bore 18 before the closing part 20 is inserted, which secures the web 7 captively. The formation of the opposite abutment 16 and the locking of the other end therein correspond to FIG. 7. This exemplary embodiment is distinguished by particular simplicity and by low manufacturing costs.
