Kosmetikbehälter mit einem Behälterunterteil (1), in dem ein Applikatorfach (2) und ein Kosmetikfach (3) in Form von Vertiefungen ausgebildet sind, die über einen Steg (4) voneinander getrennt sind, wobei in dem Kosmetikfach (3) eine Kosmetikschale (5) aus einem Schalenboden (6) und einer von diesem abstehenden Schalenwand (7) aufgenommen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Steg (4) wenigstens über einen Teilabschnitt hin als Hohlsteg ausgebildet ist, in dem ein Hebelmechanismus mit einem Drücker (8), der in das Applikatorfach (2) verschiebbar hineinragt, und einem von dem Drücker (8) wenigstens annähernd in Längsrichtung des Hohlsteges (4) seitlich abstehenden Hebel (9) angeordnet ist, der an seinem dem Drücker (8) abgewandten freien Ende einen in das Kosmetikfach (3) verschiebbar hineinragenden, an der benachbarten Schalenwand (7) der Kosmetikschale (5) angreifenden Haltevorsprung (10) aufweist und im Abstand von dem Drücker (8) und seinem Haltevorsprung (10) an einer Schwenkstelle durch Betätigung des Drückers entgegen einer Federkraft unter Freigabe der Schalenwand (7) schwenkbar abgestützt ist.1.
