Pli postal du type comprenant un support d'écriture et une enveloppe, la fermeture du pli étant obtenue par adhérence d'un rabat (1) sur le recto (3) de l'enveloppe, le recto (3) regroupant tous les éléments nécessaires à l'acheminement du courrier, alors que le verso (5) est décoré.

PLI POSTAL
La présente invention a pour objet un pli postal ou support d'écriture, destiné en particulier, mais non exclusivement, à permettre la rédaction et l'acheminement de la correspondance.
Initialement, la correspondance était confiée à la poste sous la forme de feuilles pliées et scellées au cachet de cire. Puis est apparue l'enveloppe destinée à protéger le support de correspondance, qui est généralement une feuille de papier incluse, après' pliage - dans l'enveloppe. L'enveloppe est cachetée en utilisant un préencollage qui est porté par une patte se collant du côté de l'enveloppe opposé à celui portant le timbre et l'adresse. Dans ces conditions, le côté recto de l'enveloppe ne peut pas être décoré. Il en va de même du côté verso qui porte les bandes de collage de l'enveloppe.
La carte postale permet d'adresser une correspondance en marquant l'origine de l'émission le plus souvent par une reproduction de paysage ou de monument, à moins que l'illustration ne soit plus légère ou à vocation humoristique. L'inconvénient de la carte postale est que contrairement à la lettre glissée dans une enveloppe, close par collage ou par tout autre moyen, elle n'a aucun caractère de confidentialité. De plus, la surface réservée à la correspondance est réduite ce qui n'est pas toujours un avantage.
Il existe également des "entiers postaux" sur lesquels le timbre correspondant à la taxe d'acheminement est imprimé. Ces entiers peuvent être des cartes postales ou une feuille de papier dont les bords sont enduits de colle ce qui permet de la plier selon un format normalisé. Des plis postaux non traditionnels ont déjà été proposés.
US-A-3 762 630 propose de former l'enveloppe par réunion bord à bord de deux cartes dont l'une est décorée et dont la seconde porte les mentions de service et le timbre. Mais cette enveloppe fermée par une patte adhésive s'ouvre par déchirure de traits pointillés ce qui s'avère souvent incommode.
US-A-1 985 103 décrit une enveloppe à fenêtre comprenant une patte, solidaire d'un bord de l'enveloppe destinée à permettre la réexpédition, la patte pouvant être détachée de l'enveloppe et retournée à l'expéditeur en tant qu'accusé de réception ou bon de commande.
US-A-3 371 851 décrit un emballage pour pièces de collection qui est destiné à rester fermer pour prouver la date d'expédition. Cette emballage comprenant une fenêtre permet de voit la pièce ou analogue.
Ces documents montrent toutefois qu'il était connu de regrouper sur une même face de l'enveloppe, l'adresse, le timbre et un moyen de fermeture tel qu'une patte.
La présente invention a pour objet un support de correspondance permettant de pallier les inconvénients des supports connus, grâce à une enveloppe, un support d'écriture, un cachet adhésif, tous trois complémentaires et fonctionnellement indissociables.
Selon la présente invention, le pli postal comprenant une enveloppe, une feuille constituant le support d'écriture en papier ou carton ou analogue et des moyens de fermeture, les timbres, l'adresse et les moyens de fermeture étant regroupés sur un même côté de l'enveloppe est caractérisé en ce que les moyens de fermeture consi-stent en un rabat comportant une région adhésive, solidaire de la feuille d'écriture.
L'enveloppe constitue un sac rectangulaire ouvert sur l'un de ses bords et la feuille comprend un rabat portant un adhésif destiné à venir se coller sur l'une des faces de l'enveloppe. L'ouverture est ainsi instantanée puisque la correspondance est solidaire du rabat qu'il suffit de soulever.
Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, l'une des faces de l'enveloppe est décorée alors que l'autre face comporte une fenêtre qui laisse apparaître l'adresse du destinataire sur le support d'écriture, le rabat se repliant du côté de la fenêtre.
Le rabat peut porter l'adresse de l'expéditeur en vue de la réexpédition éventuelle du pli. Dans ce mode de réalisation, l'expéditeur n'inscrit rien sur l'enveloppe, la correspondance et les adresses étant portées par le support d'écriture.
L'adresse du destinataire est écrite dans une zone réservée de la feuille de correspondance, selon le format normalisé de manière à permettre le tri automatique du courrier. L'une des faces, comme dans les cartes postales classiques, peut être entièrement décorée par exemple par un paysage alors que l'autre face est fonctionnelle c'est à dire qu'elle porte les adresses, le timbre et le rabat cacheté ce qui assure l'inviolabilité de la correspondance comme dans une lettre cachetée.
En vue de son utilisation en entier postal, le pli selon l'invention peut porter un timbre imprimé et être distribué dans les bureaux de poste. D1autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront au cours de la description qui va suivre d'un mode particulier de réalisation, donné uniquement à titre d'exemple non limitatif, en regard des dessins qui représentent :
- La figure 1, le recto d'un pli selon l'invention;
- la figure 2, un verso possible du pli;
- la Figure 3, une vue du support d'écriture partiellement extrait de l'enveloppe;
- la figure 4, la partie correspondance d'un pli selon l'invention.
Sur la figure 1, qui représente le recto d'un pli tel qu'il peut être expédié, on distingue sur la face recto 3 de l'enveloppe 4, le rabat 1 qui est fixé, dans l'exemple représenté, par un cachet 2 par exemple un cachet autoadhésif pouvant imiter un cachet de cire. L'enveloppe 4 comprend deux faces 3 et 5 qui sont collées, intérieurement sur deux ou trois côtés et dont le quatrième côté 6 est ouvert. Le recto 3 porte également un timbre-poste 7 qui peut être imprimé ou collé.
Dans le mode de réalisation représenté, une fenêtre 8 est découpée dans la face recto 3 de sorte qu'une adresse écrite sur la feuille de correspondance 9 puisse être lue à travers cette fenêtre. La fenêtre peut être obturée par un volet transparent par exemple en cellophane. L'utilisateur est guidé par un cadre 11 imprimé sur la partie correspondance 9 et, le service des postes peut traiter ce courrier automatiquement. Dans l'enveloppe 4 et en regard de la fenêtre 8 est prévue une zone lia qui peut apparaître en grisé ou en couleur. ' Il est ainsi créé un espace supplémentaire de communication directe qui peut servir à l'inscription d'un post-scriptum ou de toute autre information importante. Cet espace est bien entendu masqué par le support d'écriture 9 lorsque le pli est fermé, mais il apparaît immédiatement dès que le pli est ouvert.
Le verso 5 de l'enveloppe, représenté sur la figure 2, peut être illustré par des vues ou dessins quelconques, comme une carte postale.
La figure 3 représente le pli lors de l'ouverture. Le cachet 2 a été brisé et une partie 2a est restée collée sur le recto 3. La partie correspondance 9 constituée par une feuille pouvant être pliée en'deux ou en quatre ' est glissée à travers le bord ouvert 6. La correspondance peut alors être lue après dépliage éventuel de la feuille 9. Comme indiqué précédemment le cadre 11 imprimé sur la partie correspondance permet de centrer l'adresse dans la fenêtre.
Il est possible de prévoir, au niveau du cachet 2, dans le verso 3 une fente 10 permettant, après lecture de la lettre, de refermer le pli, par insertion de l'extrémité avant de la patte ou rabat 1, de manière à ce que le contenu reste protégé après une première ouverture.
On distingue également sur la figure 3 un cadre 11 qui est imprimé sur la feuille 9 permettant d'inscrire l'adresse du destinataire qui sera lue à travers la fenêtre 8. Cette adresse se trouve automatiquement positionnée en face de la fenêtre par la fermeture du cachet.
La figure 4 représente partiellement une feuille de correspondance destinée à être incluse dans l'enveloppe 4 et qui, dans l'exemple représenté comprend deux volets 9 et 9a. Une ligne 12 est prépliée pour séparer les deux volets. Deux autre volets pourraient être prévus qui seraient repliés autour du bord supérieur des volets 9 et 9a. Le bord ouvert 6 peut être l'un des grands bords de l'enveloppe rectangulaire 4 mais l'emplacement réglementaire du timbre doit rester accessible. De même la fermeture du pli peut être obtenue par tout autre moyen de préencollage traditionnel tel qu'une bande autocollante ou non.
La présente invention permet une présentation originale du courrier qui est très pratique pour l'utilisateur car regroupant les avantages de la carte postale et de la lettre sans en avoir les inconvénients, l'ouverture d'un tel pli étant particulièrement aisée.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1° Pli postal comprenant une enveloppe (4), une feuille (9) constituant le support d'écriture en papier carton "ou analogue et des moyens de fermeture, le timbre, l'adresse et les moyens de fermeture étant regroupés sur un même côté (3) de l'enveloppe (4), caractérisé en ce que les moyens de fermeture consistent en un rabat (1), comportant une région adhésive (2), solidaire de la feuille d'écriture (9).
2° Pli selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que qu'une fenêtre (8) est découpée dans l'une des faces (3) de l'enveloppe (4).
3° Pli selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que l'une des faces (5) de l'enveloppe est décorée.
4° Pli selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'une fente. (10) est prévue dans la face (3) de l'enveloppe.
5° Pli selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce qu'une zone (11) d'inscription de l'adresse est imprimée sur la feuille (9) .
6° Pli selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la feuille (9) comprend plusieurs volets de surface sensiblement correspondante à celle de l'enveloppe, au moins un volet étant solidaire du rabat (1).
7° Pli selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la région d'adhérence (2) du rabat (1) sur la face (3) de l'enveloppe représente un cachet. ° Pli selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la face interne (4) de l'enveloppe comporte en regard de la fenêtre (8) une zone supplémentaire (lia) de communication.
