Abstract

A sales package (1) or holder, consisting of an integral card-type cardboard or paperboard part (2) made of thin, foldable material for the visible display of at least one article (8, 25, 32, 52), at least one region which projects from the plane of the card-type part (2) holding the article, is to be produced with less use of cardboard or paperboard material. This is achieved in that the card-type part (2) is of single-layered construction and has at least one element (3, 4, 15, 15'), which projects like a flap in the shape of a tongue, preferably approximately at right angles, from the card-type part (2), with a receiving opening (6, 7; 7'; 7") for the article (8, 25, 32, 52), the edge of said element forming a stop region for the article. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a sales packaging or a holder consisting of a one-piece, single-layer, card-like cardboard or cardboard part made of thin, foldable material for the visible presentation of at least one object, the cardboard or cardboard part including at least one element protruding from its plane has a receiving opening formed in the edge region as a stop for the object, which is part of a folding element that is deflected from the card-like part and is bent in several legs along fold lines, essentially U-shaped in side view.

So-called blister packs are still used today for the visible presentation of objects on or on a sales packaging. An object is attached to a card-like cardboard or cardboard part by placing the object on the cardboard or cardboard card and placing a molded part made of transparent plastic over it. Blister packs have the disadvantage that plastic is used, which is met with criticism from an environmental point of view, since the cost of materials is relatively large and because more than one material is used for such packaging, which makes it more difficult to reuse or recycle such packaging.

Sales packaging is already known from DE-A-2926082 and DE-A-4007600. Both known packaging is common that the card-like cardboard or cardboard part is formed by folding the one-piece blank in two layers. In addition, special folds have to be made or a special net-shaped punching has to be provided. The production of this packaging is therefore only possible with a relatively high consumption of cardboard or cardboard material. The special punching and folding also require special measures in their manufacture.

A generic packaging is known from the German utility model DE-U-9012178. In this known packaging, the unfolding holding the object of sale is arranged such that the object of sale is arranged with its entire body circumference on one side of the card-like cardboard or cardboard part. If this sales package is pushed onto the support rod of a sales stand with the aid of the hanging opening, then this sales package does not hang straight down, but instead depends on the weight of the sales item arranged on the sales package at an inclined angle on the support rod of the sales stand. This results in an undesirable view of the sales packaging on the sales stand from the point of view of sales promotion.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide an improved sales package, which can be produced with the same cardboard or cardboard material consumption.

In a sales package of the type mentioned above, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the leg formed by the element is longer than the opposite leg of the U-shaped folded element and that the element passing through the punched opening in the cardboard or cardboard part that is uncovered when the folding element is folded over, and folded like a flap-like tongue, preferably approximately at right angles, protruding from the cardboard plane.

Such packaging can be made completely in one layer from a one-piece cardboard or cardboard blank. A small amount of material is required to produce such packaging. The sales package has a receiving opening and a stop edge for the object to be presented on it, so that the object - or possibly several objects - can be securely attached to the packaging and held by it. One or more of the flap-like tongue-shaped elements can have a receiving opening for the object. The object to be presented on the packaging is kept particularly secure when it is inserted into two tongue elements, each having a receiving opening. The flap-like tongue-shaped element is part of a folding element which is deflected in several legs along fold lines.

For the production of the packaging, it is also advantageous that the flap-like tongue-shaped element is an area punched out of the card-like part.

A well-protected arrangement of at least areas of the product or object presented on the packaging is achieved in that at least one folding element is deflected in a substantially U-shape in a side view.

Overall, this creates packaging that can be hung vertically on a receiving rod with the packaged goods and has the same material consumption compared to the known packaging.

An expedient embodiment of the invention provides that the leg is articulated to the card-like cardboard or cardboard part by means of a fold line and the element has latching or holding elements in its edge region which cooperate with latching or holding elements in the edge region of the punched opening of the card-like part. As a result, the flap-like tongue-shaped element can be fixed and locked in the use position on the card-like part.

Furthermore, the invention is characterized in one embodiment in that the element is articulated to the card-like part via a fold line arranged in the middle of the longitudinal extent of the element and an end region of the deflected folding element articulated on the leg is glued to the card-like part.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, it can also be expedient if two folding elements, each with an opening, are formed on the card-like cardboard or cardboard part with openings oriented essentially perpendicular to one another.

Finally, it is particularly expedient for the reception and presentation of tubes if a reception opening is a slot hole which includes a taper of the object and the slot hole merges into a further opening with a larger diameter. Here, the tube can be inserted through the larger opening in the card-like part into the flap-like tongue-shaped elements provided with the receiving openings.

Fig. 1a shows a package 1, which consists of a one-piece and single-layer card-like cardboard or cardboard part (2) made of thin, foldable material, such as cardboard or cardboard.

FIG. 1 a shows a flap-like tongue-shaped element 15 which is part of a folding element 13 which is deflected in several legs along fold lines 20. In this embodiment, the element 15 is shaped longer than the region 14 and protrudes through the opening 16 in the card-like part 2, which was created by punching out the folding element 13. The folding element 13 is articulated on the card part 2 by means of a fold line 5. A dash-dotted tube 8 is located within the opening 16 and is held on its underside by a knob-like element 18 and a folding flap 17. The element 15 is provided with an elongated hole 7 which merges into a further opening 10 and accommodates the area of the dispenser nipple of the tube 8 which is exposed under the edge of the tube closure. The closure can abut the area 14 and / or the fold line 5 on its upper side. The head region of the tube shown in broken lines is guided through the receiving opening 7 or the elongated hole 7 and is thus fastened to the sales packaging 1. The tube 8 rests with the lower edge of its closure on the flap-like tongue-shaped element 15, the elongated hole 7 largely enclosing the part of the dispenser nipple of the tube that is usually exposed between the tube shoulder and the lower edge of the closure. To attach the tube 8 to the sales package 1, the closure is first by the adjacent the elongated hole formed further opening 10 is inserted and the area of the dispenser nipple exposed between the lower edge of the tube closure and the tube shoulder is pivoted into the receiving opening or the elongated hole 7. Here, the area of the element 15 surrounding the edge of the elongated hole 7 is designed as a stop edge for the lower area of the tube closure. Due to the attachment shown in FIG. 1a, the tube 8 remains in a position parallel to the card-like part 2 despite its weight when it hangs vertically. The folding element 13 is kept in the folded state shown in FIG . The projections 12 and the incisions 19 thus form cooperating locking and holding elements. 1b shows the cut of the packaging according to FIG. 1a. The folding element 13 is delimited from the plate part 2 along a continuous punching line 11 and articulated on the latter by means of a folding line 5. Stamping lines 22 and 23 likewise delimit the cam-like holding element 18 and the flap element 17 from the card part 2. An opening 16 between the folding element 13 and the flap element 17 as well as the receiving opening 7 and the further opening 10 within the folding element 13 are punched out over the entire surface.

FIG. 2a shows a variant of the embodiment according to FIG. 1a. Here, the folding element 13 has an elongated opening 7 in its flap-like tongue-shaped element 15, through which two cylindrical objects 25 are guided. Items 25, For example, so-called glue sticks are provided on their underside with cavities 26 which engage cams 27 which are formed in the edge of the opening 16 of the card-like part 2. 2b shows the blank for the packaging according to FIG. 2a. The folding element 13 is delimited from the card part 2 along punching lines 11.

In the embodiments according to FIGS. 1a and 2a, both the elements 15 and the regions 14 of the folding element 13 can be provided with an opening, the openings then being arranged concentrically to one another and receiving the closure regions of the tube 8 or the glue stick 25.

Fig. 3a shows a holder 1, consisting of the substantially plate-shaped part 2 made of relatively thin, foldable material such as cardboard, with an excellent folding element 13 which is deflected and folded substantially in a U-shape. The leg 15 of this folding element 13 is connected to the plate-shaped part 2 via the fold line 5, which is arranged in the middle of the longitudinal extent of the leg 15. In this embodiment, the leg 15 is longer than the leg 14 and passes through the opening 16 in the plate-shaped part 2, which was created by cutting out or punching out the folding element 13. A hole 7 'is provided in the folding element 13. A cylindrical object 25 shown with broken lines is inserted into this. A protrusion 27 projects into the recess at the lower end of this object 25 and extends from the edge of the opening 16 in the plate-shaped part 2.

Continuing the leg 14, the folding element 13 is provided with an end region 50 which, as shown, is parallel to the surface of the plate-shaped part 2 is deflected and glued to it. As a result, the folding element 13 is held in a U-shape. Furthermore, this embodiment of the U-shaped folding element 13 has advantages in terms of production that the gluing of the extension 50 and thus the shaping of the U-shaped folding element can take place fully automatically.

The blank shown in Fig. 3b also shows the position of the cut lines 11 and the fold lines 5, the fold lines 20, at which the folding element 13 is deflected into the U-shape, as well as punching lines for the production of the folding element 13 and the opening 7 '.

4a and 4b show a further embodiment. This has two folding elements 13 and 13 '. The U-shaped deflected folding element 13 is essentially the same as that shown in FIG. 3. The structure of the two U-shaped folded elements 13 and 13 'shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b is the same, but with respect to the line A in FIG 4b are formed and arranged in mirror image to one another. Furthermore, the leg 14 ′ of the folding element 13 ′ has an elongated opening 7 ″, from which the flattened lower edge of a tubular object 8 (shown in broken lines in FIG. 4a) is received. The cap 19 of this object 8 enters into the opening 7 'of the U-shaped folded element 13. 4c shows the blank for the embodiment according to FIGS. 4a and 4b.

5a and 5b show another way in which a second, lower folding element 13 'can be implemented. Here, the leg 14 'is articulated to the plate-shaped part 2 via an articulated line 5'. In the case of the U-shaped folded element 13 ', the leg 15' is fastened to the plate-shaped part 2 with the aid of two extensions 50 'and passes through the opening 16. A cylindrical object 25 drawn in broken lines in FIG. 5a enters the opening 7 'with its upper part and the opening 7' 'with its lower part. 5c shows the blank of this embodiment. This embodiment is very similar to that of Fig. 3b, but an additional plate part 51 is attached via the fold line 5 'at the lower end of the plate-shaped part 2, which forms the U-shaped deflectable folding element 13'.

Finally, FIGS. 6a and 6c show a modification of the embodiment according to FIG. 4. Here, the upper folding element 13 is omitted. Instead, in the embodiment according to FIG. 6b, the opening 16 tapers upwards in the drawing. An object 52 with a rectangular cross section, shown in broken lines in FIG. 6a, enters with its base into the rectangular opening 7 ″ in the U-shaped folded element 13 ′. The edges of the tapered portion of the opening 16 enter recesses 53 in the cap 54 of the article 52. In this way too, a product or object 52 is securely fastened to the plate-shaped part 2.

Claims (5)

1. A pack (1) or holder consisting of a one-piece, single-layer, card-like cardboard or paperboard part (2) of thin, foldable material for visibly displaying at least one article (8,25,52), the cardboard or paperboard part (2) comprising at least one element (15,15') which is folded to stand out from its plane, comprising a receiving opening (7,7',7'') formed at its periphery as a stop for the article (8,25,52), and which is part of a folding element (13,13') punched out from the card-like part (2) and folded repeatedly along folding lines (5,20;5',20') so that it is substantially U-shaped in side elevation, characterized in that the side formed by the element (15,15') is longer than the opposite side (14,14') of the U-shaped folding element (13,13') and in that the element (15,15') is unfolded to stand out from the plane of the cardboard, preferably at substantially a right angle, in the manner of a flap-like tongue, passing through the opening (16) which has been punched in the cardboard or paperboard part (2) and which is exposed when the folding element (13,13') is unfolded.
2. A pack as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the side (14,14') is hinged to the card-like cardboard or paperboard part (2) along a folding line (5) and the element (15,15') is provided at its edges with retaining or holding elements which cooperate with retaining or holding elements at the periphery of the opening (16) punched in the card-like part (2).

A pack as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the element (15,15') is hinged to the card-like part (2) along a folding line (5,5') arranged in the middle of the length of the element (15,15') and an end zone (50,50') - hinged to the side (14,14') - of the folding element (13,13') is glued to the card-like part (2).
4. A pack as claimed in any of the preceding claims, characterized in that two folding elements (13,13') each with an opening (7',7'') are formed with openings (7',7'') aligned substantially perpendicularly to one another in the card-like cardboard or paperboard part (2).
5. A pack as claimed in any of the preceding claims, characterized in that one receiving opening is an elongate hole (7) which surrounds a tapered part of the article (8) and in that the elongate hole (7) merges into another opening (10) of larger diameter.
