Description

The invention relates to a tread for a ski, in particular a cross-country ski, in which, at least in partial areas of the length and width of the ski, a plurality of tread incisions are provided in the form of successive graded ramps in the longitudinal direction of the ski, which have a sawtooth-like anti-slip profile in longitudinal section .

Solche Stufenrampen dienen zur Erzielung eines Gleit-Abstoß-Effektes.Such step ramps are used to achieve a sliding repulsion effect.

A tread of this type has become known from DE-PS 684.155. On each longitudinal half, at a certain distance from its outer edge, it has at least one row of grooves in the form of arrows arranged one behind the other, the tips of which point forward on a common line of symmetry running longitudinally on the ski, which divides each groove into two symmetry halves, in which the Deepening at the arrow base begins and increases towards the arrowhead.

From AT-PS 360 884 a tread has become known in which several step ramps are arranged in a row with a central distance across the ski width transversely to the longitudinal axis of the ski and two transverse rows in the longitudinal direction of the ski at a distance in the transverse direction, preferably around half the center distance are offset from each other. In the known step ramps, the surface of the trough formed by the step ramp rises gradually and continuously from the step edge to the top of the tread.

The object of the invention is to provide measures by which there is an improvement in the ratio of repulsion to sliding ability in all snow conditions. These Task is achieved with a tread of the type mentioned in that, according to the invention, a secondary step is arranged in the region of the step ramp which rises gently in the longitudinal direction of the ski, the abutting edge of the secondary step being lower than the abutting edge of the step ramp.

The object of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. Show it

Bei Anordnung mehrerer Stufenrampen in einer Reihe können einzelne Querreihen oder die aufeinanderfolgenden Querreihen in der Querrichtung zur Laufrichtung, z.B. um den halben Mittelabstand, gegeneinander versetzt angeordnet sein, wie dies beispielsweise bei der in Fig. 3 dargestellten Variante vorgesehen ist.1 with a ski or a tread surface is designated, which has a tread 2, in which sawtooth-like step ramps 3 are provided which run at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the ski and which form incisions which extend from a kick edge 4, at which the incisions are deepest are, extend ascending to the tread 2. The shape of the profiling can be chosen arbitrarily. So there is the possibility of executing the step edge 4 in a straight line, as shown, for example, by AT-PS 360 884, or curved, as shown, for example, by FR-PS 808 359. The individual step ramps 3 can extend over only part of the width of the sliding surface, a plurality of step ramps, at most with a central spacing, being arranged in a row next to one another. However, there is also the possibility of providing only a single incision in the row, which essentially extends over the entire width of the ski, as is shown, for example, by DE-OS 21 42 271. By arrangement of several step ramps in a row, individual transverse rows or the successive transverse rows in the transverse direction to the running direction, for example by half the center distance, can be arranged offset from one another, as is provided, for example, in the variant shown in FIG. 3.

According to the invention, all or only individual step ramps 3 have a secondary step 5 with its own kick edge 6, which in the present case is located lower than the kick edge 4 of the step ramp 3. As can be seen in FIG. 1, the double step according to the invention results in an increased snow surface pressure in the push-off phase, in which the secondary step 5 can penetrate the snow and thus contribute to increasing the push-off resistance or static friction. In the sliding phase, the lower-lying secondary stage does not come into contact with snow, so there is no increase in sliding friction when sliding. The direction of movement of the ski is indicated by arrow A. The snow crystals are denoted by 7.

In the context of the invention, the step ramps can be incorporated into the sliding surface of a ski, but it is also possible to provide a tread surface with the step ramps according to the invention and to attach such a tread on any ski.
