Machine à couper les carreaux, notamment de faïence, comportant: un bâti (1) qui présente un fond (2) plan destiné à supporter un carreau en vue de sa coupe, un axe de coupe (7) dudit fond, ledit fond présentant deux extrémités longitudinales (3,4), et, à proximité d'une première (3) desdites extrémités longitudinales, une première fente (16) susceptible de recevoir une première arête (20) d'un carreau (12) à découper, centrée dans le plan P contenant l'axe de coupe (7) et perpendiculaire au fond (2) du bâti; un dispositif (6) de glissières longitudinales parallèles à l'axe de coupe (7); un premier coulisseau (8) monté mobile sur ledit dispositif de glissières, support d'un outil (9) de coupe des carreaux; et, un profilé longitudinal (13), solidaire du bâti (1), disposé parallèlement à l'axe de coupe (7), ayant une arête (14) disposée en saillie par rapport au fond (2) du bâti, contenue dans le plan (P) perpendiculaire au fond (2) contenant l'axe de coupe (7) et destinée à permettre la casse du carreau (12) après réalisation de sa coupe;
caractérisée en ce qu': un deuxième coulisseau (22) est monté coulissant le long du profilé (13) de casse de carreaux et présente une deuxième fente (24), qui est susceptible de recevoir une deuxième arête (28) dudit carreau (12) à découper, qui est centrée dans le plan (P) contenant l'axe de coupe (7) et perpendiculaire au fond (2) du bâti, et dont l'orientation par rapport audit plan (P) est maintenue constante par ledit profilé de casse (13).
1. Machine for cutting tiles, in particular earthenware, comprising: a frame (1) which has a flat bottom (2) intended to support a tile for its cutting, a cutting axis (7) of said bottom, said bottom having two longitudinal ends (3,4), and, in the vicinity a first (3) of said longitudinal ends, a first slot (16) capable of receiving a first edge (20) of a tile (12) to be cut, centered in the plane P containing the cutting axis (7) and perpendicular to the bottom (2) of the frame; a device (6) for longitudinal slides parallel to the cutting axis (7); a first slide (8) mounted mobile on said slide device, support for a tool (9) for cutting tiles; and, a longitudinal profile (13), integral with the frame (1), arranged parallel to the cutting axis (7), having an edge (14) projecting relative to the bottom (2) of the frame, contained in the plane ( P) perpendicular to the bottom (2) containing the cutting axis (7) and intended to allow breakage of the tile (12) after completion of its cutting;
characterized in that: a second slide (22) is slidably mounted along the profile (13) of breaking tiles and has a second slot (24), which is capable of receiving a second edge te (28) of said tile (12) to be cut, which is centered in the plane (P) containing the cutting axis (7) and perpendicular to the bottom (2) of the frame, and whose orientation relative to said plane ( P) is kept constant by said breaking profile (13).
