Date Oct. 29, 1992.A discharge system for discharging wastes from a unit producing such wastes, such as a toilet, is disclosed. The system includes a device for creating a partial vacuum, an intermediate container and a collecting basin connected together by pipelines and valves in an arrangement which permits the use of an immediate container having a relatively small volume thereby permitting the use of a smaller vacuum pump. The discharge system is particularly useful for rail-bound vehicles and overland buses.

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Klosett mit einem Klosettbecken, insbesondere in einem Fahrzeug, mit einer Ejektor-Vorrichtung zum Erzeugen von Unterdruck, einem Zwischenbehälter und einem Sammelbehälter, die über Rohrleitungen mit Ventilen miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Ejektor-Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Unterdruck den Zwischenbehälter unter Unterdruck setzt, wobei bei geöffnetem Ventil in der Leitung von dem Klosettbecken eine Ablaufmasse in den Zwischenbehälter gesaugt und von dort in den Sammelbehälter gedrückt wird,
Bei einem derartigen bekannten Ablaufsystem (DE-OS 39 32 893) werden dem Sammelbehälter und dem Zwischenbehälter Luft bzw. Gase entnommen und in einen Druckbehälter gegeben. Weiterhin soll der Druckbehälter zusammen mit dem Vakuum im Zwischen- und Sammelbehälter dafür sorgen, daß die Ablaufmasse in den Sammelbehälter gelangt. Der Vakuumerzeuger und der Druckbehälter können jedoch nicht ausreichend groß dimensioniert werden, um dies zu erreichen, so daß Bedenken bestehen, ob das bekannte System überhaupt funktioniert. Da der Sammelbehälter ein relativ großes Volumen hat, müßte auch die Vakuumpumpe relativ groß ausgebildet sein. In jedem Fall würde aufgrund dieses großen Volumens das Klosett - wenn überhaupt - dann nur in relativ großen Zeitabständen benutzt werden können. Bei dem bekannten System sind darüber hinaus noch Einrichtungen erforderlich, die das gesamte System nicht nur umständlich und störanfällig sondern auch sehr aufwendig machen.

Zunächst ist bedeutend, daß eine relativ kleine vakuumerzeugende Einrichtung verwendet werden kann, da lediglich das relativ kleine Volumen des Zwischenbehälters, es handelt sich hierbei um einige Liter, evakuiert werden muß. Ist der Zwischenbehälter genügend unter Unterdruck gesetzt worden, so kann Ablaufmasse angesaugt und durch Einleitung von Druckluft aus dem Zwischenbehälter heraus in den Sammelbehälter gedrückt werden. Außer dem geringeren Aufwand im Hinblick auf die Vakuumpumpe kann beim Klosett gemäß der Erfindung dieses in relativ kleinen Zeiträumen benutzt werden.First of all, it is important that a relatively small vacuum-generating device can be used, since only the relatively small volume of the intermediate container, which is a few liters, has to be evacuated. Dies bedeutet, daß an Stelle von mechanischen Pumpen lediglich Ventile erforderlich sind. Darüber hinaus stellt das Bordnetz von schienengebundenen Fahrzeugen einen relativ hohen Druck zur Verfügung, so daß einerseits die gewünschte hohe Vakuumleistung möglich ist und andererseits auch der Fördervorgang der Ablaufmasse aus dem Zwischenbehälter in den Ablaufbehälter zuverlässig durchgeführt werden kann. Claims (1)

  1. Lavatory having a lavatory bowl, in particular in a vehicle, having an ejector device (6) for generating negative pressure, an intermediate container (17) and a collecting container (9) which are connected to one another by means of pipe lines (7, 10) with valves (5, 8), the ejector device (6) placing the intermediate container (17) under negative pressure in order to generate negative pressure, wherein, when the valve (5) is open in the pipe (7) a drainage mass is drawn from the lavatory bowl into the intermediate container (17) and is urged from there into the collecting container (9), characterised in that a valve (20) in a compressed air delivery pipe (15) in the open position and when the valve (5) is closed in the pipe (7) to the lavatory bowl causes the drainage mass drawn into the intermediate container (17) to be urged into the collecting container (9); in that the volume of the intermediate container (17) is only a few litres; and in that all the valves (5, 8, 20), the intermediate container (17), the device (6) for generating negative pressure and all the pipes (7, 15) apart from the pipe leading to the collecting container (9) are accommodated in the seat of the lavatory bowl (1).
