This characteristic makes it possible to avoid electrical incidents during the connection or disconnection of the plug 2 and the socket 1.
- the clearance a preferably has a value at least equal to 1.5 mm which corresponds to a standard of insulation in air.
- the ground connection must, in this case, be certain before the distance between the closest contacts 10 and 20 is less than 1.5 mm.
- potential differences can appear between the signal contacts of the plug and the socket, which are large enough to damage the circuits coupled to the signal contacts. These potential differences can be high enough to produce an electric arc between two signal contacts 10 and 20. This is therefore avoided by ensuring electrical ground continuity before the contacts 10 and 20 are brought together.
- FIG. 2 represents a set of plug 2 and base 1 in connection position, thus allowing earth continuity between cables 92 and 93 as well than a polarization (finger 84).

- These elements allow to perform a keying function both between a plug according to the invention and a standard socket as well as between a base according to the invention and a standard plug.
- a polarization is obtained between a base according to the invention and a plug standard by the fact that if we try to couple a socket 1 and a standard plug 200, the finger hermaphrodite polarization 201 abuts with the outer edge of the sleeve 51 hence an impossibility of mounting.
- connection is made impossible between a sheet 2 according to the invention and a standard base 100 by the fact that the finger cylindrical polarization 90 of plug 2 cannot enter the polarization eye 155 which makes it face in the standard base 100.
- the cylindrical polarization finger is more as long as pin 81, it does not come to a stop against the standard base 100 and therefore cannot be damaged during the operation.
- the base 1 has two ground sockets 51 and an eye of polarization 155 ′, while sheet 2 has two ground pins 81 arranged opposite the sockets 51 and a polarization finger 90 'arranged opposite the polarization eye 155 ′ and having a profile of polarization (here in T shape) complementary to this last so as to allow their coupling.
- the base 1 cannot be mounted on a standard sheet and sheet 2 cannot be mounted on a standard base.

According to Figure 1, a base designated by the
référencé 93 à la figure 2.According to the invention,
de la fiche 2 et de l'embase 1.As shown in FIG. 1, the extreme edges of the
contacts 10 et 20.The clearance a preferably has a value at least equal to 1.5 mm which corresponds to a standard of insulation in air. In other words, the ground connection must, in this case, be certain before the distance between the
qu'un détrompage (doigt 84).FIG. 2 represents a set of
fiche standard.Figures 3a and 3b show more
particularly a
As shown in Figures 4a and 4b, these two functions can be obtained in combination or separately.
montage. According to FIG. 4a, a polarization is obtained
between a base according to the invention and a plug
standard by the fact that if we try to couple a
