  • the unit 20 acts on the regulator 15 to reduce the heating power of the lamp 8. This does not depend on said angular position of the knob 16. If the temperature falls below said value, the unit 20 senses this via the sensor 31 and acts on the regulator 15 to set the heating power of the element or lamp 8 to the value defined by the angular position of the knob 16.
  • the invention therefore enables the presence of the saucepan or container 5 on a cooking zone to be ascertained and the temperature of said saucepan (and hence by known comparison algorithms the temperature of its contained food) to be controlled.

Claims (16)

  1. Dispositif pour déterminer la présence et/ou la température d'un récipient (5) pour préparer des aliments, positionné sur un ensemble de cuisson en céramique vitreuse, cette dernière comportant une surface supérieure (3) faisant face au récipient (5) et des éléments chauffants (8), de préférence du type à radiation, tels que des lampes halogènes, prévus sous la plaque (2) supportant le récipient, en correspondance avec une zone de cuisson correspondante (4), caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte une pluralité de moyens écarteurs (25) interposés entre le récipient (5) et la surface supérieure (3) de l'ensemble de cuisson (1), lesdits moyens écarteurs (25) supportant ledit récipient (5) et étant associés avec ladite plaque (1), auxdits moyens (25) étant associés des moyens détecteurs (31) capables de déterminer la présence et/ou la température dudit récipient (5). Lesdits moyens détecteurs (31) étant reliés à des moyens (20) pour commander le fonctionnement des éléments chauffants (8) qui, sur la base de la détermination faite par lesdits détecteurs (31), agissent sur lesdits éléments chauffants (8) pour réguler leur fonctionnement.
  2. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens écarteurs sont des éléments (25) présentant un corps (26) auquel les moyens détecteurs (31) sont associés, ledit corps (26) comportant une portion (29) qui fait face à la surface supérieure (3) de l'ensemble de cuisson et qui est disposée pour faire écran pour lesdits moyens (31) à l'égard de la chaleur générée par les éléments chauffants (8).
  3. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 2, caractérisé par le fait que le corps (26) des moyens écarteurs présente une partie creuse (30) et contient les moyens détecteurs (31) dans cette partie creuse (30).
  4. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 3, caractérisé par le fait que le corps (26) des moyens écarteurs (25) a une forme hémisphérique et comporte une partie sphérique ou calotte (27) située à la partie supérieure et conçue pour coopérer avec le récipient (5) pour aliments, ladite partie (27) étant reliée, de façon connue à la portion (29), formant écran, qui fait face à la surface (3) de l'ensemble de cuisson.
  5. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens écarteurs (25) sont associés, de façon amovible, avec l'ensemble de cuisson (1).
  6. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 5, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte une liaison magnétique entre les moyens écarteurs (25) et l'ensemble de cuisson.
  7. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 5, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte des liaisons électriques imprimées par sérigraphie prévues sur la plaque de cuisson 2 de l'ensemble de cuisson pour coopérer avec les moyens détecteurs (31) pour relier ces derniers aux moyens de commande (20).
  8. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1 ou 7, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens de commande sont un organe de commande (20), de préférence du type microprocesseur.
  9. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 8, caractérisé par le fait que l'organe de commande (20) commande l'ouverture et la fermeture d'un contacteur mobile (43) en reliant ensemble des contacts fixes (44) prévus sur la ligne puissance (10) alimentant les éléments chauffants.
  10. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 8, caractérisé par le fait que l'organe de commande (20) agit sur un régulateur de puissance habituel (15) pour les éléments chauffants (8).
  11. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 8, caractérisé par le fait que l'organe de commande (20) est relié à un ou plusieurs boutons pour faire fonctionner les éléments chauffants (8).
  12. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens détecteurs (31) sont un détecteur capacitif.
  13. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens détecteurs (31) sont un détecteur inductif.
  14. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens détecteurs (31) sont associés à une pluralité de moyens écarteurs (25).
  15. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens détecteurs (31) sont associés à un seul de la pluralité de moyens écarteurs prévus pour chaque zone de cuisson (4).
  16. Dispositif comme revendiqué dans la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens écarteurs sont disposés aux sommets d'un triangle équilatéral en correspondance avec une zone de cuisson respective.
