Bei Fertighäusern, die aus neben- und übereinandergestapelten vorgefertigten Raumzellen hergestellt werden, war es bei der bisher üblichen Bauweise von maximal drei Etagen nicht erforderlich, neben einem Treppenhaus auch noch einen Fahrstuhl vorzusehen. Erst durch neuere Techniken, durch die es möglich ist, Fertighäuser mit bis zu sieben übereinanderliegenden Etagen und damit Raumzelleneinheiten herzustellen, ist es erforderlich, in solche Fertighäuser auch Fahrstühle einzubauen. Siehe z.B. US-A-4 120 133. Üblicherweise werden dabei die Fahrstuhlschächte und die Fahrstühle erst nachträglich durch entsprechende Umbauten und Einbauten in die übereinandergestapelten Raumzellen eingebracht, was jedoch mit einem erheblichen Aufwand verbunden ist.In the case of prefabricated houses which are manufactured from prefabricated room cells stacked next to and on top of each other, it was not necessary to provide an elevator in addition to a staircase in the previously customary construction of a maximum of three floors.
