Bei einer bekannten Vorrichtung dieser Art (DE 39 00 156 A1) besteht das Gehäuse aus zwei Teilen, nämlich dem eigentlichen Gehäuse und einer eine Seitenwand und die Rückwand des Gehäuses bildenden Klappe, die schwenkbar am Gehäuse angelenkt ist. Die Klappe weist Haltemittel für die Kassette auf. Zum Kassettenwechsel kann die Klappe geöffnet werden und die verbrauchte Kassette gegen eine neue ausgetauscht werden. Während des Schließens der Klappe wird die Auftragzunge der Kassette durch die Durchtrittsöffnung des Gehäuses hindurchgeschoben und verbleibt dann bis zum nächsten Kassettenwechsel ständig in dieser Arbeitsstellung. Die Klappe verschließt die Ladeöffnung. Da die Auftragszunge ständig aus dem Gehäsue herausragt, besteht die Gefahr, daß beim Ablegen der Vorrichtung die Auftragszunge und der sich über die Auftragzunge erstreckende Klebstoffilm mit anderen Gegenständen in Berührung kommt und dadurch beschädigt oder vom Trägerband teilweise abgelöst wird. Dies ist besonders dann von Nachteil, wenn der Klebstoffilm eine weisse Beschichtung zum Abdecken von Schriftzeichen, Zeichnungsteilen u. dgl. aufweist. Der beschädigte Klebstoffilm weist dann nämlich nicht mehr eine gerade Abrißkante auf und die Abdeckung erscheint am Anfang ausgefranst. Kommt der Klebstoffilm, z.B. beim Einstecken der Vorrichtung in eine Jackentasche, mit der Kleidung in Berührung, dann kann diese durch die Beschichtung verschmutzt werden. Ferner ist bei der bekannten Vorrichtung der Kassettenwechsel umständlich, denn hierzu muß zunächst die Klappe geöffnet und nach der Entnahme der verbrauchten Kassette eine neue Kassette zwischen die Haltemittel eingelegt werden. Wenn hierbei nicht die nötige Sorgfalt aufgewendet wird, dann können Teile der Kassette oder des Gehäuses beim Schließen der Klappe beschädigt werden. Schließlich ergeben sich bei der bekannten Vorrichtung erhöhte Herstellungskosten infolge des zweiteiligen Gehäuses. Die Wirkungsweise der Vorrichtung ist folgende:
Es sei angenommen, daß gemäß Fig. 1 das Gehäuse 1 gerade mit einer neuen Kassette 4 gefüllt wird. Diese wird durch die Ladeöffnung 3 von links nach rechts in das Gehäuse geradlinig eingeschoben. Hierbei kommt das freie Ende 9a der Druckfeder 9 an dem Ansatz 11 zur Anlage, wodurch beim Einschieben der Kassette ein gewisser Widerstand entsteht. Wenn der Druckknopf 14 in den Bereich der länglichen Öffnung 16 gelangt ist, wird er durch diese Öffnung 16 unter Wirkung der Federzunge 13 nach außen gedrückt. Läßt man jetzt die Kassette los, dann drückt die Druckfeder 9 die Kassette nach hinten und der hintere Rand 14a kommt an der Begrenzungsfläche 16a der länglichen Öffnung 16 zur Anlage. Die Kassette wird damit in ihrer in Fig. 2 dargestellten Nichtgebrauchsstellung gehalten. Zur Benutzung der Vorrichtung drückt man auf das aus dem Gehäuse 1 herausragende hintere Ende 4a der Kassette 4, wodurch diese nach rechts in ihre in Fig. 3 dargestellte Arbeitsstellung geschoben wird. Sobald sie diese erreicht hat, rastet die Rast 15 an der hinteren Begrenzungsfläche 16a der Öffnung 16 ein und damit ist die Kassette 4 in ihrer Arbeitsstellung festgelegt. Die Auftragszugne ragt aus der Durchtrittsöffnung 2 heraus. Die Auftragszunge kann dann an eine Unterlage angedrückt und entweder schiebend oder ziehend über die Unterlage bewegt werden, wodurch sich der am Trägerband 6 haftende Klebstoffilm von diesem löst und durch die Auftragszunge 7 an die Unterlage angedrückt wird. Wenn die Vorrichtung nicht mehr gebraucht wird, dann braucht man nur leicht auf den Druckknopf 14 zu drücken, wodurch die Verrastung zwischen der Raste 15 und der Begrenzungsfläche 16a gelöst wird. Unter Wirkung der Druckfeder 9 wird dann die Kassette 4 selbsttätig nach links in ihre in Fig. 2 dargestellte Nichtgebrauchsstellung gedrückt, so lange bis der hintere Rand 14a des Druckknopfes 14 an der Begrenzungsfläche 16a zur Anlage kommt. Die Kassette verschiebt sich dabei gegenüber dem Gehäuse 1 um den Verschiebeweg A. In Nichtgebrauchsstellung liegt die Spitze 7a der Auftragszunge 7 innerhalb des Gehäuses 1. Der Klebstoffilm ist daher gegen unbeabsichtigte Berührung geschützt und er kann auch nicht Kleidungsstücke od. dgl. verschmutzen. Soll die Kassette gewechselt werden, dann wird der Druckknopf 14 in Nichtgebrauchsstellung nochmals gedrückt. Hierdurch verliert sein hinterer Rand 14a die Verrastung an der Begrenzungsfläche 16a und die Kassette wird unter Wirkung der Feder 9 noch um einen kleinen Betrag nach links verschoben. Durch Ziehen am hinteren Ende 4a der Kassette kann diese dann leicht aus dem Gehäuse 1 entnommen werden. In Nichtgebrauchs- und Gebrauchsstellung verschließt das hintere Ende 4a die Ladeöffnung 3.

Claims (11)

Vorrichtung zum Auftragen eines gegebenenfalls beschichteten Klebstoffilmes auf eine Unterlage, bestehend aus einem Gehäuse und einer auswechselbar in dieses einsetzbaren Kassette, welche eine Vorratspule, von der ein mit dem Klebstoffilm versehenes Trägerband abrollbar ist, eine von der Vorratsrolle über eine Antriebsvorrichtung antreibbare Leerspule zum Aufwickeln des leeren Trägerbandes und eine Auftragszunge aufweist, über die das von der Vorratspule kommende Trägerband geführt ist, wobei das Gehäuse an seinem vorderen Ende eine Durchtrittsöffnung für die Auftragszunge und an seinem entgegengesetzten hinteren Ende eine Ladeöffnung zum Einbringen und Entnehmen der Kassette aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kassette (4) im Gehäuse (1) von dessen Ladeöffnung (3) zur Durchtrittsöffnung (2) geradlinig verschiebbar ist, daß in dem Gehäuse (1) eine sich in Verschieberichtung der Kassette (4) erstreckende Druckfeder (9) angeordnet ist, an der ein an der Kassette (4) vorgesehener Ansatz (11) zur Anlage kommt, bevor die Auftragszunge (7) die Durchtrittsöffnung (2) erreicht hat, und daß eine zwischen Kassette (4) und Gehäuse (1) wirksame, federbelastete Verrastungsvorrichtung (13, 15, 16a) mit einem Druckknopf (14) vorgesehen ist, mittels welcher die entgegen der Federkraft der Druckfeder (9) im Gehäuse (1) nach vorn verschiebbare Kassette (4) in ihrer Arbeitsstellung, in welcher die Auftragszunge (7) durch die Durchtrittsöffnung (2) aus dem Gehäuse (1) herausragt, gegenüber dem Gehäuse verriegelbar ist und die durch Betätigung des Druckknopfes (14) entriegelbar ist, so daß die Kassette (4) unter Wirkung der Druckfeder (9) selbsttätig in ihre Nichtgebrauchsstellung zurückverschoben wird, in welcher die Spitze (7a) der Auftragszunge (7) innerhalb des Gehäuses (1) liegt.Apparatus for applying an optionally coated adhesive film to a base, consisting of a housing and a cassette which can be exchangeably inserted therein, which has a supply spool from which a carrier tape provided with the adhesive film can be unrolled, an empty spool which can be driven by the supply roll via a drive device for winding up the has empty carrier tape and an application tongue over which the carrier tape coming from the supply reel is guided, the housing having at its front end a passage opening for the application tongue and at its opposite rear end a loading opening for inserting and removing the cassette, characterized in that the cassette (4) in the housing (1) can be moved in a straight line from its loading opening (3) to the passage opening (2) in that a compression spring (9) extending in the direction of displacement of the cassette (4) is arranged in the housing (1) the one on the cassette (4th ) provided approach (11) comes into contact before the application tongue (7) has reached the passage opening (2), and that between the cassette (4) and the housing (1) effective, spring-loaded latching device (13, 15, 16a) with a Push button (14) is provided, by means of which the cassette (4), which can be displaced forwards against the spring force of the compression spring (9) in the housing (1), in its working position, in which the application tongue (7) passes through the passage opening (2) out of the housing (1) protrudes, can be locked in relation to the housing and can be unlocked by actuating the push button (14), so that the cassette (4) is automatically pushed back into its non-use position, in the action of the compression spring (9), in which the tip (7a) the application tongue (7) lies within the housing (1).
